This is a good value USB hub that works great on my Mac's, particularly the iMac, where having the USB ports around the back can be a bit of a pain, the cable is not too long so it doesn't become a pain, but long enough to reach nicely around to the front of the screen.I like the placement of the USB ports, they are spaced out enough so that they don't interfere with each other when plugging in larger USB devices, and the one on the front end is in a really useful position for leaving something like a card reader permanently attached. The upright ports are also good because if you have a 3G USB key, it means the antenna can be positioned vertically, which often gives better signal strength.

I was very pleased with my purchase of this USB hub. I had read so many conflicting reviews about many different hubs that I was left a little confused but I'm very glad I decided on this one. The cable is long enough that I can tuck it away behind my computer so I don't have to see all the other wires plugged into it. I mainly use it for an external keyboard and graphics tablet which both run very smoothly from it. I don't use it to connect my external harddrive as this needs to take it's power from the USB port and I feel it is more reliable when plugged directly into the computer.

This hub has a quality feel, and is slightly unsual in not being the normal shape of a small box. The long, thin shape and reasonably long cable give greater flexibility of placement on your desk or table, or even hanging down out of sight behind these.Four USB ports should be more than adequate for most needs. As with all such hubs, this one may not support devices that require relatively high power (so which need to be plugged into a USB port on your computer). The silver colour nicely complements equipment with an aluminized finish.Highly recommended.

My Apple Mac desktop has some irritatingly inaccessible hub ports around the back of its shiny screen, so I bought this to add some more handy options. I did have another hub, but that needed a power source apart from the Mac to work - and who needs even more cables? This works fine powered by the PC. The cable is quite short, and that is my only minor quibble. Otherwise I thought this was great value.

My iMac does not have any USB ports in an accessible place for the occasional connection of flash drives, cameras etc. I needed a small simple hub to match the silver finish on my machine. This product fits the bill perfectly, even the cable is just the right length. Great product.

Item arrived in record time. It works well in one of my two laptops and I cannot understand why this is so. The male to female connections seem OK so I'm unable to determine the fault! Service is very good and I recommend to all potential customers.

I bought this for my iMac which only has 4 USB Sockets. Basically it works a treat and does just what I hoped it would do, I now have 7 USB sockets on my iMac, brilliant.

Very quick to recognise the usb and very quick to be picked with any PC you plug it into ideal for anyone who needs several usb's connected at a time.

Recommended to anyone looking to provide easy access to their usb. I have a pc with rear access to usb, this solved the problem.
