my kids enjoyed playing this game, my 5 year old needed a little help to start with but soon got the idea, I like the fact that there a 2 sets of faces (people or animals) to keep the game varied, also downloads are available on the internet although I havent printed any off yet. It does need some self assembly at first which can be a pain when you have impatient children waiting to play. The 2 boards can be clipped together or played apart on your lap, I preferred them seperated as my daughter kept knocking it and some doors closed!!! I would recommend this game :-)

bought this for my daughter for an extra Easter gift, and she's spent more time with this than with her chocolate eggs. It's a great game that provides hours of fun for my daughter, and hubby.Only problem I would say, which isn't all that bad, is that if you are sitting with it on your knee, you need to keep still or else the windows all close/open depending upon what angle you are sitting on. but if it's kept level all the time, then no probs at all. Would recommend for kids of age 5 up to about 8-9.

It's always been a great game - partly because it's simple, but also because it makes you use your brain, whether you're 5 or 75. It's all about observation, logic and elimination. My kids had it when they were small. Now I play it with my grandchildren, even though they're in Yorkshire and I'm in Somerset. During the pandemic, I bought a Guess Who? for my granddaughter and one for me, so we can play each other via Skype. She's 6-1 up at the moment, so the gloves will be off next time we play...

So much better than before with all the little cardboard squares to ping out and get lost. It's a bit tricky to hold the board and not accidentally close the doors - we laughed a lot as we kept doing this. It's great that there are animals on the other side of the boards, only negative is that you can't really make out what animals they are. When playing with younger children, what you end up with might be a bit abstract. All adds to the fun though, thoroughly recommended to all - enjoy!!

I bought this for my daughter who is only 4 but very imaginative and she thoroughly enjoys this game However, the design is not as good as the original in my opinion. I don't like the doors that you have to open. They used to be flaps in my day that went up and down not doors. If you remember the old game you will know what I meanAlso, I struggled to put it together. You have to break things that don't look like they should be broken. It's a very strange set up. But still enjoyable

A great family game which includes an animal board alongside the original characters. The game boards are durable which is a plus for young children. When playing, you can either hold each board individually or you can attach the boards together. Two sheets are included within the game (animals and people) but you can print online sheets which is fantastic.Downsides - setup of game is very tricky. The character sheet only contains 5 girls and the doors can fall off (easily reattached).

The new set up of this game is not the best design. It makes sitting on the floor very difficult for grown ups playing with their children. We play with the boards separated now. My daughter likes the animal side more than the people side. Nice to have a choice and easily swap around whenever she pleases. It was a little difficult to put all the pieces together in the first place having to brake off clips didn't seem right but had to be done. Overall though I would recommend it.

This new version of Guess Who is great fun, good purchase. Only thing is that you need to have a steady hand to ensure the doors do not close as they can do so. The actual card is not that durable and can be easily torn with changing around from people to animals. I recommend you get the cards laminated so the durability of this game lasts longer! Good fun with great interaction, but I may well prefer the old version of Guess Who in my days!

There is no real downside too this game apart from the windows you open and close. They were easy to close, but not as easy to open, and since they open the opposite way to their counterpart when connected, tipping the entire board to open them all at once only opened one side and closed the other. Some way of opening all the doors at once would be useful, but aside from that the game was great. Quick, fun and easy to set-up.

Bought this for my two girls aged six and four. The 6-year-old loves it, the 4-year-old is maybe too young. It's still great fun to play, as it was when I was a kid, but the game itself is nowhere near as well made. It's much flimsier and the people accidentally flip down too easily. That makes no real difference to the enjoyment, but it's a shame the successful original design isn't still there.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson who is 5. He loved it just as my children did and wants to play it again and again. One of the best Christmas presents he got. My only negative point is that it does not seem as well made as I remember and the actual picture on the argos site is not the same item I.e.does not stand up but is like the traditional flat one with flip up characters

Got this for my 4 year old and I to play as she was enjoying a memory card game we had been playing. Its still a decent little game but seemed easier to identify the characters. The build quality is very flimsy though and the different closing method of the windows (sideways instead of closing down) makes it really fidgety and the windows close too easily when not intended.

I didnt know this had been re-invented and was a bit put off from buying it at first as I thought it looked a bit more complicated than the older version but when I got it and had a good look its exactly the same only with opening doors, plus it has the added benefit of being able to print off new character sheets so it can always be updated and changed.

Brilliant old school Game that the whole family enjoyed every day on a cottage holiday, the only reason I Gave it less stars is due to the cards. They are paper thin and get damaged very easily as more strong card, also the only that slot into the playing seaction 're very fiddly to set up. The concept is fab and my 6 years old loves this game

Classic game I loved as a child . All characters have been changed to be more ‘inclusive ‘ I would imagine . Only problem is some are just not that definitive so when playing it can be tricky as what one person sees may not be how another interprets the feature. However still a great fun family game that my six year old loves!
