Ok, all I can say, is that I really wasn't expecting this much quality...even from GSI. That said, I'm impressed with GSI's stuff. This plate is a standard dinner plate in size (looked smaller online). It is heavy POLISHED stainless steel (will last a lifetime, and a few cliff-dives as well). The lip is about a half-inch tall, and rolled at the very edge. Very good quality...can't say enough about it. Personally, I have a Texsport 16-ounce camp mug/cup that is also stainless steel, wire handle, and rolled lip...that together, they look like they were a matched set, both in appearance and quality. Free with every plate is a several hour process of removing the stickers that are placed in the direct center of the eating surface. The adhesive used on these stickers is some of the best in the world and therefore it'll take you forever to actually remove the stickers laboriously from each plate. I know of no other plates that offer such a deal.The only way to get the full sticker and adhesive residue off of the plate that you eventually plan on eating off of is to use GooGone or similar industrial strength chemical. These plates are very versatile, though a bit thin for my preference. You can take them with you for camping, picnics, backyard barbeques, etc. We have been using these as our everyday plates for about a year and they have held up really well. They are not insulated so they do get really hot with hot foods, but we solve that with the use of nice, thick placemats. We have used them in our toaster oven as well, and that is a nice option, since we sometimes make buffet breakfasts on the weekends, and like to keep things warm in the toaster oven :)

Bought this for my toddler... trying to stay away from using plastics (cancer causing ingredients, ah!) and I'm not going to hand my toddler a glass plate for obvious reasons! It has worked fine for this purpose. Has a nice lip on it to keep food in and also fits perfectly on her high chair tray. Only complaint would be the very center bottom of the plate sort of sits lower than the rest of it so it can literally spin in circles in ones gives it the proper push.... but this hasn't posed a real problem so 5 stars it is!

We love these and use them as our every day plates. They are the perfect size for any meal, the lip keeps even our 4 yo's food on the plate, they wash by hand or machine really, really easily, and they barely even dent even when dropped on our stone floors. The only thing I don't like about them is how very shiny they are-- the light somehow always ends up reflecting into my eyes. Still, a fantastic product and I totally recommend them for camping or home use.

This was actually better than I had thought it was going to be. Very pretty as serving platters, plates, or everyday ware. They are lightweight and very pretty. Good size plate for any meal. Also doubles as a mirror if you need one in a pinch. (I did) Course once you use it a few time, that advantage is gone, but until then, fantastic. Also they fit very nicely into the paper plate holders so you don't burn your hands (they are metal)

Great Quality! Great Item! No complaints on quality or service! Based of this pix, thought the item was OVAL shaped not circular, and for my application I needed an oval shape plate. Not the end of the world, keeping the item, but perhaps a more representative (full on picture as opposed to an angled picture) might be more representative of the item. Just food for thought! Still A+! for quality and service! Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE these plates. I bought a set of 4 for a camping trip and highly considered buying more for everyday use. They would be a great addition to an industrial style kitchen. The plates do keep the temperature so be prepared for anything straight out of the campfire to be piping hot on your hands. Easy to clean & stack nicely. Minimal space in the camping gear. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I got this plate along with a stainless steel bowl for use in reheating food without using aluminum foil or the microwave. It works perfectly and is easy to clean. Earlier I had bought an enameled steel plate, but when it arrived it had a label on it stating that the surface contained substances "known by the State of California" to cause cancer. I sent that back and got this instead. I'm very happy with it.

I love GSI camping products, the stainless finish is always very nice and of Top quality material. Don't expect the finish to stay shiny as it will dull and scuff with aggressive washing with a brillow pad, and scratching from a fork, but it is a plate, hello. Great job GSI, these are going to last me for many years of boundary waters trips, Trout fishing trips in the spring, and hunting trips in the fall.

Just finished using on a kayak camping trip, and liked this plate. Always prefer stainless steel over aluminum, and any metal over plastic. A solid 4 stra product, that could have been a 5 if the plates edges were turned up a littke bit higher. That would result in me spilling less over the sides as I tend to devour my food after a day in the great outdoors.

These are not dinner plates ! They are mirrors you can see yourself in!!! Kidding aside, . . . these are absolutely perfect!!! We can cut meat on them but we don't want to scratch h their perfect finish. We will heat them up and then put cardboard or plastic plates on top of them so we don't mar the finish.

I got for these for my car camping cookware. That works well as plates. As far as the stickers go you have to use some kind of adhesive remover to get them off. Something like lighter fluid. That stuff will clean off. Kind of annoying though. I would not use these frying pans. Period.

We received these plates yesterday. They arrived in perfect condition and are gorgeous! They are heavy, good quality stainless steel and came through the dishwasher perfectly! As full-time RVers, we needed to replace the china with something lighter, more durable and stackable.

This seems like a nice steel plate that I'll use for a very long time. I needed something light to take camping and I wanted to upgrade from plastic. I love that it's nice and big. I also ordered the MSR one and it's teeny tiny. The round sticker shadow came off after one use.
