One of the biggest mistakes we have ever made, the flow is totally inadequate, it is virtually impossible to get a hot shower or bath and the unit is very unreliable. We have had the system for just over a year and when we bought it we thought that we were paying a high price so that we got the best product that would last us for years – we were wrong – the Grohe F Digital is RUBBISH. For the first 8 months, after a lot of chasing we were able to get the Grohe service department to come and try and fix some of the faults, they even sent a man from Germany and changed the complete system but now they have given up and are not even courteous enough to respond to emails even though they know that

I purchased a GROHE F Digital shower with a fixed shower head. The system comes with a 1.5 bar pump in the control box. There is no option for a larger pump. After it was installed it was immediately clear that the pump was woefully inadequate for the size of the shower head. I measured the flow rate coming from the shower head which was no different from the amount of water coming out of my hot tap in the kitchen which didn't have a pump at all. I phoned GROHE customer service who sent an engineer who said that pump is only for the UK market and isn't really big enough to give a power shower though a GROHE shower head as the head is so large that the pressure drops and suggested the only way around it was to fit a larger pump and pressure unit.

Wow. I can't agree more with the other reviews of this APPALLING product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Bought my flat with this shower already installed and have had trouble with it since day 1. In fact, I wouldn't have been surprised if it was the shower that drove the previous owner out!Awful pressure, it doesn't go above a certain temperature, sporadically cuts out after 15-30 seconds and the customer support is laughable.I'm actually now having another shower installed and will look forward to free flowing morning showers that aren't lukewarm, that don't cut out and generally do everything a shower is meant to do that this product doesn't.

What can I say that has not already been said. I fully endorse the two previous reviews. This shower is simply not the standard of quality one would expect from Grohe and is not worth the money they sell it for!!! Neither is it fit for the purpose it is sold for. Customer Service: Grohe have never heard of these two words. Our first Grohe Digital was brilliant till the guarantee ran out. New F Digital purchased with numerous unresolved problems from day one. I do believe that once back from summer holidays this unit will be filed where it belongs. IN THE BIN!!!
