think i will add locktite to the axle nuts. other than that no complaints. using it to chew up the soil in our garden to plant new grass seed. could do a better job, but then it's an aerator and not a tiller. happy with what it's done anyway, wouldn't want to spend the money and don't have the space for a proper tiller, let alone the need (we have a small garden).the spikes are very sharp so they dig into the ground well. it's not super heavy, and really relies on the spikes being sharp to dig into the ground (they do, i would have been skeptical if i hadn't just done it the other night).so it's not perfect but i'm pretty sure it's by far the best fit for our needs.

Just right for the job - small garden - needs a bit of physical effort so good exercise and the spikes aerate just as well as any mechanical alternative.Must be very careful storing this item. Wine corks made of cork skewered with small philips screwdriver and then large philips screwdriver are perfect for covering each spike.

item is great when ground is soft, tried using it on hard ground and found the brackets could do with being stronger (they bent a little ) would recommend using it after heavy rain or a good watering.

Good strong construction with long tines for penetration.I did find that it wasn't heavy enough,so I built a frame over and weighted it with a bag of sand.It worked very well after that

Takes a little time to put together, just repetitive and suddenly it’s done. Feels as if it needs a stronger main tube but quiet easy to use if you wait for the ground to be soft.

Comes in a small box and takes a full hour to assemble.Needed mole grips to grip spikes as they turned when tightening the securing nuts.Good quality and aerates lawn ok.

Good product that does what it says. Longer spikes than the others I looked at (45mm). Takes a bit of time to assemble, but easy to do.

product does what it says,only one concern that it would be more robust if the handle was one piece, otherwise good product.

Great product. Need to put more pressure for clay soil but worth it. If you do it when the soil is wet then lit bit easier.

Easy to assemble. Have only used once & found it very sturdy. Does a good job, with a little effort at a reasonable price.

This is a very sturdy tool. It is a lot faster to aerate the lawn than using a fork. It is good value for money.

Fiddly to put together but seems to do the job quite well. It needs the lawn to be fairly soft to be effective.

Very easy to assemble. Good quality. Bit hard going at first. Recommend use when ground is soft.

Don't know about good value as it's not something that you will use every day. It does the job.

Took me a while to build it ,but it's done its job perfectly. The grass is finally growing!
