I had researched winter bike gloves for a while and had decided these were the ones I wanted. I wasn't prepared to pay the usual £35 - £40 price and got these from Amazon for what appeared to be a blink and you miss it reduced price of just under £19.I don't have very big hands and took a bit of a punt on the smalls, as they were the only size at the reduced price. I am usually a medium and luckily the smalls fit me well. There are three things I look for in winter gloves: waterproof, windproof and breathability. Here is how the Gore gloves perform:Waterproof: no complaints there. I have ridden through some serious autumn downpours and have had totally dry hands.Windproof: again, they seem to be spot on,although I will get the experience during the winter with the cold mornings.Breathability: maybe the only shortcoming with these gloves. Even after a 35 minute ride at decent intensity I find I have really sweaty hands. Maybe it's a small price to pay but this is the only reason I haven't given them 5 stars. They look good, wear nice, seem hard wearing and do the job they say they do. Probably the best gloves I've owned.

Using as rain gloves when on my motorcycle. I love the weight and feel of the gloves while operating the controls of the motorcycle.Zero dexterity sacrificed while wearing these gloves. Perfect weight for spring, summer and fall riding seasons under wet conditions. The Gore-Tex material makes them positively breathable, windproof and most importantly for my intended purpose, WATERPROOF.I'm a serious cross country motorcycle rider and couldn't be any more pleased with this product thus the 5 stars. Please note they do run at least a size smaller as stated in previous reviews.

These are bike gloves but I use them for golf. They are a bit thick to hold a golf club but you can just about do it. These are about the only golf gloves that I have found which are windproof and waterproof. Other suppliers make similar claims but these are the only ones I have found that last 4 hours on a golf course in wet and windy conditions.

The gloves are well made and keep hands dry even in seattle down pours. The insulation is good for the cold. I only wear them when temps are below 45. Dexterity is good and the wipe pads are placed well. Easy enough to wipe the rain off the safety glasses.Only gripe as with all Gore stuff is size. I always end up ordering at least a size up.

Ordered these for my husband who wears a size 8.5 in surgical latex gloves. I believe I ordered the largest size and they did fit. He specifically wanted Gortex and was very happy with the fit and feel of these gloves. He will use them for fall hunting and my son, who also got a pair, will use them for rainy day biking trips.

These are fully waterproof, slim enough to not be too cumbersome, but still thick enough to keep hands warm. Wind does pass through when riding my bike. Easy on and off. Needed for Florida winter. Was not too hot during daytime. Good quality material should last a lifetime.

At first I thought the fingers weren't long enough, but then actually they ended up working fantastically. Have done some long rides this winter with them and they have saved my fingers from the cold for sure. Great product.

Works well down to 35°F (1.6°C), perhaps a bit lower if you can tolerate the cold more than I can. Inner liner keep your hands slightly separated from the outer liner, creating a warm barrier from the harsh cold.

I purchased these gloves for outdoor photography work. I used them last weekend in pouring rain while shooting landscapes and wildlife. They protected my hands beautifully, keeping them warm and dry.

I don't think I have especially large hands, and in general I would say I am a medium for most things (180 cm, 77 kg), but the XL size seems to be the correct size for me.

They're thin, which made me worry that I would struggle to stay warm. But it's not so. I stay warm, sometimes hot, in these and stay completely waterproof.

Waterproof and comfortable. Good for cold down to about 35° or so. Very small. I ordered XL because of reviews and they are still a tad tight, but okay.

Excellent product. They were used in a bike race in winter, under continuos rain, snow and mud. Never felt my finger tips cold!!

Only used them 2x so far, but my hands stayed dry and warm.
