The shoes look very much like they are in the picture. They seem much stiffer than my last pair of Mt Bike shoes. Unfortunately the velcro on the right one was not fully sewn down and they only used small dabs of glue. So it isn't at all secure. It looks as though it was sewn but that the machine ran out of thread and no one caught it. If I can figure out how, I'll submit pictures. The velcro on the left shoe is secured properly which makes me think this is a fluke. Amazon's return/exchange policy is phenomenal. I submitted the request, was given a free shipping label and my replacement order was immediately processed.***Update***Replacement shoes came in and they look great. As I suspected,

An at least partial solution to cold feet on the bike, make sure you put them on slack in cold weather. Various features such as the large cover for the lacing and less perforations to let water out mean warmer feet. When it is really cold I still found the need to use overshoes though. Heavy but sturdy, good value for training/leisure, too heavy for serious competition.

Wanted cycling shoes that one could also walk around, that look like normal trainers. This has outperformed. It is surprisingly comfortable and has become my go-to cycling shoe for 100 plus long-distance rides. And it works pretty well in the rain.I had to adjust the positioning of the cleats to improve clipping out of the pedal. So keep an eye out for that.

Had a shipping error and received two different sizes shoes. The correct size was too small and we had to return the shoes. The company was very apologetic, responded immediately, and made returning the shoes simple and hassle free. Would definitely recommend working with business but may need to order up in size.

These shoes are great . A bit heaving compared to my shoes I use for flat pedals but very durable and reinforced. This color is so ugly I also bought shoe paint on amazon and a binder for athletic shoes and made them army green

I am very satisfied with the Giro Terraduro Mid blue cycling shoes that I purchased. I have used them 5 times and they are perfect. The shipment was also very formal.

They are suitable for those like me who use the MT on the road with shoes equipped with studs x quick release attachment to the pedals

using Crank Brothers cleats and shoe fits pedal nicely. very comfrortable for riding and short walks if needed.

There is nothing to complain about! The shoes are so far top. I can not comment on a long-term impact.
