I've only worn them a couple of times, but so far these shoes have not disappointed. The fit is exactly as expected; the materials and construction appear to meet Giro's typically excellent standard.I was pleasantly surprised by the Vibram outsole. When I took the shoes out of the box the rubber outsole felt firmer than I expected; it felt more like the hard nylon lugs tupically on MTB shoes and less like the sneaker type outsole on my other, more casual, Giros. Walking around though and there is ample traction, including walking on laminate flooring in wet shoes. As it is still a cold and wet March as I write this I am interested to see how well the shoes breathe in the summer heat.I have already worn these shoes a couple times in light/medium rain and both times my feet were warm and dry when I reached my destination (7.5 miles/45 minutes). If nothing else I can see these becoming Spring/Fall/Winter (with shoe covers) shoes.

I have very narrow feet with little instep and these sneakers will fit my type of foot very well. Although I have to fill the shoe with a template. With both velcro and micrometer adjustment fits perfectly. Very well also by the new templates of this brand with the support in the arch of the foot, because I have the foot perfectly adjusted to the shoe, without tightening, nor hurt me. Very well also by this store that sells average numbers, otherwise a number more or one less would not be good. The sole I like a lot, since it allows you to tread both clay or earth terrain, asphalt, and has very good grip by the rubber of the sole, and still the sole is still rigid when pedaling. It serves both for pedaling and for walking. A very good shoe that I liked a lot, has nothing to envy other brands. The only bad thing weighs a little more, but not too much.

I bought these on 7/11/14 and already the bottom of the right shoe is coming off, near the point of pointless being a shoe... I did reach out to giro and they have replaced the shoe i have only been able to ride it 5 days but i will keep this updated if anything further happens with them.i changed my review to 4 stars, as of 8/9/17 i am still riding these shoes (albeit the 3rd pair) but the 3rd pair has lasted about 2 years now. I think the first batch or two had gluing issues and were pushed out of production really fast. But i do love them, buckles are easy to find same with ladder straps good company overall wouldnt hesitate to buy em again.

Great shoes. I ordered a half size larger than I typically wear and they fit well. Also, they are fairly narrow, so if you have wide feet, you will want to look for the wide version of the shoe (the Terraduro HV, I believe). If there is any knock on these shoes, it's that they are a little on the heavy side, but not enough to be a concern. When I tour, I like to bring as little as possible to keep the weight down. These are shoes that I can wear both on and off the bike, eliminating the need to bring other shoes. And since they are all black they don't stick out like a sore thumb when I'm dressed in street clothes.

I ordered the size 50 for my 14.5 feet and they were long enough but too narrow in the toe. They appeared well made and felt like leather in my hands. If they had been wide enough, I almost certainly would have bought insoles for them because the stock ones had very little support. I ended up buying some Shimano SH-M089 wide shoes that fit better but don't look as nice and feel very much like plastic although both shoes are made from similar material.

The shoes arrived within the promised delivery time period and were well packaged. The shoes are awesome. I wore them this weekend 12/07/14 when I went mountain biking. They were very comfortable riding with them. The sole is rigid which is good for riding but you can still walk in them normally. Good traction for walking on rocks if you have to get off your bike.

Disregard the other comment. It was a first round that has been eliminated long ago. Plus, you get new shoes if it would happen. These feet are perfect and ûbersköna for my feet. Made for messy trail and trendurocykling. Durable and good grip in the sole of everything from wet rocks to the usual mud and roots. Buy and enjoy the summer!

These shoes are a bit softer and more comfortable than standard cross-country style shoes (but not that much). They're also easier to walk in especially when the terrain gets rough. I've pretty much scrapped cross country shoes. These have become my go to shoes for trail riding. Still use the five tens for DH and FR situations.

Great shoe! Very comfortable and supportive. I would recommend these to others. The sizes do run a bit small. I wear a size 9 in street shoes, and my Sidi cycling shoes are size 43. I bought a 43.5 in these Giros, and they fit well. Any smaller would be too tight around the toes. The length is fine.

I already tried them on turquoise ones. I'm doing very well. Of all the shoes I have used are the ones that fit me best. Also they look very well to my Crankbrothers pedals. A very resistant and adherent sole. With these sneakers I feel that the feet, the shoes and the pedals are one.

Overall a good shoe, not the lightest but good for the price. With the two hook and loop fasteners quick and easy to handle, even during the journey. The fit has potential upwards. The shoes are very small and slim. One to one and a half numbers larger one should schedule

Have used this shoe for years and I have the first generation and they delaminated / the sole broke. Had them fixed by a local guy and they have been great ever since. Fits perfectly. True to size, a bit heavy but - sole aside - very durable. Will buy again.

I wore these as my all day shoes during a recent 2 day backpacking trip. Could not have been happier given the light weight and clipless function. The red color works well for being seen by drivers, hunters, etc.

Excellent shoe once I had the sizing figured out. I had to order and return two pairs before figuring out the size, and I knew they ran small when I ordered. I wear a 9.5-10 in most shoes. Ended with a 44.5.

Size 46 is the same as 45 in shimano shoes. But in my shimano which has a carbon sole, you need to get a sole insert. This shoe is soft so it works with just socks. So I ordered an 45.5 very comfortable
