Perfect helmet! If I could give it 10 stars I would. I searched and searched for the right helmet for weeks, looking over product videos, reviews, brands - everything, and ended up buying the Giro Era based on features and price. It was a toss up between Smith and Giro, but all the reviews pointed towards Giro being a clear winner with what I was looking at. You will not be disappointed with this helmet. The adjustability with the dial makes all the difference and unlike other helmets I never feel like the Giro is pressing too hard against my head. It's so lightweight, it's almost like it's not there. The adjustable venting and ear pieces that you can put earphones into are an added bonus.

The helmet arrived just in time for my Sunday River, ME week long ski trip. The winds were strong and the temperatures low. I wore a balaclava under the helmet. The helmet fit was nice and snug. My head was warm. I notice that I can remove the ear pads in warmer weather which seems like a nice feature. I haven't tried it yet. I like the way the helmet used. My old helmet was more of a bowling ball style.

This helmet fits great and is easily adjustable to get the perfect fit on any head. Its good quality and has a soft padding around the ears and forehead for extra warmth. My only complaint is that the pictures are a little misleading.... I thought this would be matte black. In reality, its a shiny black with almost a glitter undertone in the sun

Fell super hard on my first day wearing this. It probably saved my life as I still got a mild concussion and don't want to imagine what would have happened if I wasn't wearing it. Just too bad I only was able to wear it once. Definitely glad I bought this one though.

Tried on a number of Smith helmets before I realized that they were causing headaches. The Giro fits great and does not bother my head at all. It is warm and survived my first outing of the season in freezing rain.

This is a great helmet. It fits well, has good ventilation, good padding inside, and nice soft ear panels. I don't like wearing a helmet, but this one makes it ok as it is good quality. Competitive price too.

Love this helmet. Runs smaller, so order up a size, especially if you plan on wearing a hat under. Great performance from this helmet, fleece lined ears are a perk as well. good ventilation and adjustment.

Love this helmet! It's so comfy. It keeps my head warm. I do not need a hat/beanie like with most helmet's. Removable padded ear pieces with headphone spots are great! I use everytime!

Great helmet - adjusts in size a bit, can vent, and is comfortable to wear. Haven't gotten in too bad of a wipe out on the mountain to know impact results but I'm sure that's coming.

Incredibly comfortable and fit like a glove. I'm a new snowboarder and fell constantly. Thank goodness for the helmet, offered all the protection I needed!

The helmet is great, but the size I bought ended up being too small. I had to return it and repurchase at another size. Would recommend the brand though!

I love this helmet. I'm a bit bummed because I got the Nordic White helmet thinking it would be a matt material (not shiny), but it is in fact shiny.

It is a very well made helmet. Bought for my daughter for skiing. It is nice because it is lined, so warm, and it is adjustable, she really liked it

Great helmet! Keeps my head warm/cool, depending on how I'm wanting it - vents opened or closed. Good quality, and a great price!

Comfortable but a bit disappointed by the color. Much brighter pink than in the picture. More like hot pink than purple.
