I have been using the Gillette Mach3 & Gillette Mach3 Turbo for more years than I can count. It's best for me because I have a sensitive face. I have literally tried every style razor and they all leave my face feeling brutal & none was as good as the Gillette. Then I was offered this "Gillette Fusion Proshield Chill Men's Razor with Flexball Handle" as a promotion/discount in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review (I will give just that & trust me, I don't give good reviews if it's not deserving) so you know I jumped all over it!So really no surprise that this was a great razor. The Mach3 razors have 4 blades and this has 5.My face is so sensitive that I can only use the Mach3 razors for 2 shaves then have to throw it away so I spend $$ on razors (thank God for Costco) but when I used this razor I was able to get 4 shaves before I had to throw it away, so that is a bonus for me. What I like most is it is less likely to nick your face because of the "flexball" feature which moves with every turn... now that is BADASS! lastly it has the lubrication strips on top and bottom.This "Gillette Fusion Proshield Chill Men's Razor with Flexball Handle" is literally the best razor HANDS DOWN! I liked it so much, despite me having a bunch of Mach3 refills left, I did price the Gillette Fusion Proshield refills at Target and they are WAY more money than the Mach3 & Mach3 Turbo, so I have to see what the cost is at Costco because as I said, I go through razors and for me, 2 extra shaves is good but not worth theswitch if the price isn't affordable for my pockets!

It's easy for Superman to get rid of facial hair. But us mere mortals don't have heat vision or very strong mirrors, so we need good shavers.This is a box set containing a razor for wet shaving. Inside the box, all in snug plastic holds, are the razor itself. A 75ml aerosol can of shaving foam. And three blades for the razor. These are in a plastic holder, and pull out from the underside.The blade slots neatly atop the razor. Then a bit of foam on your face and you are away.As someone who has used electric razor for decades, this was a revelation. The first use was the closest shave I have ever had, and even did stubborn neck hairs easily, getting them right down to the root. The gel is very good.Smells nice. And one small spray of it does spread more than enough all over your face and neck to make the shave easy.So much in fact that you will need to run the razor under the tap after to clean it all off.The other two blades mentioned are replacement ones for when the first gives up the ghost. So this will keep you going for a while.This is a themed set promoting the film Justice League. The only tie in it has with that is the Justice League logo on the razor itself - which does look rather nice - and the box. Although the picture shows one with Superman on the cover, I was sent a slightly different shaped one with the main picture being of the Flash. So maybe collectors will find there's more than one out there.Great set. Great razor. Nice box. Well worth five stars.

This is a nice gift set with a small can of shaving gel, razor heads and handle.The handle is a relatively new model which rotates side ways to allow the blade to fit in the facial contours. The movement is restricted by a small blade at the bottom which gives it some resistance. The top part of the handle is metal, but the main part is plastic. The handle is quite smooth, could be a little slippery with wet hands.The blades are standard Gillette with multiple cutting heads.The shaving gel is a standard Gillette product. My fussy tester liked it and got a very smooth shave with no inflammation. The product does however contain parabens which does not suit every one.The box makes the product look a lot bigger than it is.It features the Justice League characters. I didn’t really feel this added any thing to the product. If you’re a fan of the movie would you want a razor kit in a decorated box? All reference to the film is lost once the packing is thrown away. If the film is not your thing then it could make you choose another gift. (I was just wondering if this was an episode of the Apprentice thrown together in a few days)

Razor. Justice league promotion on the front with Gel and spare blades.My older razor of the same make has a ridged handle and If your hands are wet this one can be slightly more difficult to hold. which is not the case with other models in the range. The rotating head works well but not necessarily better than a set head. Which I've used for years. This model has 5 blades in stead of the 3 that I normally use and it gives a really good smooth finish also theblades show all the signs of lasting well obviously depending on usage.This package is sold with a super hero on the outside of the container so I would presume aimed at a younger age group.I looked at the cost of replacing the blades and I presume because of the 5 blades against 3 thatI normally use,The blades are more expensive to buy, but should last longer as the load is spread more between 5 than 3. Easy to replace.Nicely package as a gift and a good starter pack for any man younger or older.A good usable razor which does everything it is supposed to do and well.

Hubs 53, who's claimed this set, pronounced that the slickness of the handle (there is no grip on the front or back) made the razor slip when water dripped down his hand, as invariably happens when he shaves. But, he was impressed with the look of the razor and its performance, though not at all impressed with the pack overall, especially as the shave gel was only travel size and a total of only three blades were included.Son, 25, fashion-conscious and movie-crazy, missed out on the contents, but was impressed with the box and the look of the razor.As the main shopper in the household, I was not impressed at all with the cost, so I decided to nose around - the individual razor and blades do come to around twenty quid,so add in the packaging and the gel, and this technically is not overpriced. But, comparing the razor and blades to the ProFusion ones, there's really not much difference, if any, in performance, so we'll stick to the cheaper, but still very, very good, 'budget' option.That's it folks!

An odd design choice; maybe it's my age but I'd have thought it targeted the teen market rather than someone who shaves every day, but anyway. It would make a good gift set. The Justice League box contains a nicely designed Justice League razor handle, a travel size Gillette shaving gel, and three blades. The handle is quite impressive, I like the design - smooth glossy black with a JL logo and a faux ball-joint head. The handle allows rotation in two planes which means it really does follow your facial contours very well indeed. The shaving gel is a bit strong smelling for my taste, but produces a nice thick lather, so does its job. The blades are the Gillette 5 blade type with lubricant strip; they work well enough,but for me they don't compare with the smoothness of shave I get from my usual Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 blades.A nice gift set, perhaps for someone just embarking on the life long male chore that is shaving.

This set offers outstanding value considering how much stuff is in the presentation box. I gave it to my husband to test as he wet shaves daily. He said:"It's a really good razor and well worth buying for a Christmas present.Pros:* It has five blades to offer a very close shave* Each individual blade cartridge has a fairly long life (if used 6-7 times per week) -: ergo, it will last 3-4 weeks at that rate of usage* The swivel head is flexible enough to navigate the face's various nooks and crannies at any angle* It is light to hold and doesn't cause hand fatigue* The razor cartridge head locks securely to the handle* The supplied foam lathers well abd provides a great lubrication layer for aneffective shaveCons:* The grip on the handle isn't good enough to ensure precision; It's far too straightIn conclusion: It's excellent value. Go for it.

The key point for most buyers of these blades is probably that (as supplied to me by Amazon themselves, not an Amazon Marketplace seller) they are the genuine Gillette article, therefore having all the Gillette characteristics and lasting just as long. Some reviewers report they did not receive genuine Gillette blades. Whether they bought direct from Amazon or from a Marketplace Seller, I do not know.Not that I have anything against Marketplace Sellers; and you can always return the goods and/or complain to Amazon if you feel you were mis-sold something.So, in my case, a satisfied customer, with no reason to give anything less than 5 stars. I have been using a Mach3 Turbo Razor since it was first launched in the UK (c.1998?)and have no present thought of moving on to anything else.

This is a really nice razor. It is smooth and light while giving a really close, comfortable shave. It is really really good! As you can guess "like it"!The can of shaving gel that comes with the razor is OK, although my personal preference is a shaving cream.Now for the strange part. What has a razor got to do with some stupid American cartoon so called Super Hero's? I really am at a loss here trying to work out why this piece of product linkage happened... Some advertising agent allowed to run riot. What have American cartoon characters got to do with my morning shave or have five year old's started to shave?So 5 stars for the razor,3 stars for the gel and a big hefty zero for the cartoon characters.Come on Gillette you have made your excellent product look ridiculous.

I really like the Justice League set.The handle looks great. Not quite as good to hold as the standard one but it almost looks classy and a bit vintage.You get three blade cartridges. Try as I might over the years I've not found anything better that equals the quality and speed of the shave these give. I have previously moved to DE shaving but thats a whole different ball game.The fusion gel is a mini can and is ideal for travel. The gel is good, foams well and gives a pleasant and smooth shave. Again my go to foam is noxzema but if I were to use anything else it would be this.Great gift set and movie tie in.

Although I was a little bit wary of buying dodgy or defected razor blades on-line after my last online purchase from another retailer, I am pleased to say that these blades gave me a smooth glided close cutting shave that I would expect from Gillete blades. The only thing stopping me from rating this item 5 stars is that they still seem overpriced at £1.56 per blade in my opinion, considering that I only get 2 or 3 shaves per blade before throwing it away. However So long as Supermarkets continue selling an 8 pack of blades nearer to £14, I will continue to buy them from Amazon on supersaver delivery

This razor is really good and gives a smooth, close shave. Not the best my husband has ever used, as the battery-powered ones like Gillette Fusion ProGlide give a better shave, but pretty good nonetheless. I like that it comes with spare blades, as they are so expensive to buy.The shaving gel is excellent and always performs well. It would be much better if the set included a full-sized bottle. it only includes a 75ml travel bottle, which seems a bit mean.As for the Justice League packaging, I'm not sure how relevant that is, I for one would buy the set for the contents and not the packaging.

How great to be able to get razor blades delivered the next day.Gillette Mach 3 Turbo may not be the newest shaving system but Gillette have updated this product over the years and it is better than ever.It may not be the cheapest product on the market, or the most expensive for that matter, but it is reliable and does exactly what it says on the tin.It will remain my go-to shaving product.It is safe to use and is great for new or experienced people who shave. My daughters even 'borrow' it from time to time.A great quality product.

It’s nice box set for any DC fan. Comprising of a new handle with the Justice Leaque logo, a small can of gel and three replacement blades this is going to be a perfect Christmas set for a teenagers first razor.The blade is stylish and while subtle will still appeal to comic fans, the razors are amazing as always but sadly phenomenally expensive to replace - the cost of being a man sadly, there are many other (cheaper) blades out there... but Gillette is the brand leader for a reason - they are one of the best.
