On first receiving this beard trimmer it was noticeable that it was not wrapped in Amazon’s usual protective packaging but just the box that Gillette provide to house the Trimmer and accessories. That said, nothing was damaged In transit so no problem there.No instructions arrived with the kit and for me, some specifics, such as how to attach and release the attachments would have been useful. I figured it out eventually without any breakages but a couple of clear diagrams would have been handy. It arrives with the single AA battery already in place so it’s ready to go, though it took me a little while to figure out access to the battery compartment. (The lower part of the trimmer twists from the upper part - simple once you know).

It came as in the first pic, just the blue box, no additional packaging. No instructions, but easy to handle, and Gillette's youtube channel provides interesting tips on how to use it for concrete purposes. It's powerful enough for what I need, just a short beard quick trim, even if it only requires a single AA battery (surprisingly included) and it's really light. It looks well built, and it's waterproof, so I'm thinking of trying it for more sensitive areas as well, based on all the reviews mentioning that.Three trimmer guides for three different lenght options, I use the shortest for my stubble. And a Fusion blade that goes over the trimmer, but I don't think I'll use,

This is a great shaver for the price you pay. Id does the job however the only thing I would say (Could be seen as a negative or positive) is this is my 5th of these in a couple of years.The blade does seem to become less sharp after a few months and tugs a little on the hair. Therefore I do buy a new one when this happens. I am buying a new one though and not changing brand as for 3 or 4 months this shaver is perfect and a painless, tugless shave!Will be buying again in 4 months most likely!

I've bought a couple of these over the years, the first one lasted a long time and when it finally went, I bought another (and another for my son). Really useful, feels good and chunky in the hand. As others have mentioned perhaps the only thing to improve the package would be a brush for cleaning as longer hairs do tend to clog it up and without a brush cleaning can be a bit fiddly. Not a deal breaker. Highly recommended.

These clip so well cut theu long hair with a few passes bit with out a guard on these cut so quickly. Lobe that theyre a AA battery so much better than having to charge up, it comes with a stand for the guards but i dont like that iv just got them in a bag so i can grab them and go if i need to, but they dont come with anything like this. Still a very great product and for the price is even better just hope it lasts

I've been using one of these for quite a few years now and am now on my second one. The style is nice with a decent grip and just the right weight for perfect control. If your like me and prefer to shave in the shower because of mess then its great as its waterproof. It comes with me everywhere as its a nice size and takes hardly any space in my wash bag, totally recommend this product

Had one of these before but lost it, the best portable trimmer I’ve ever had! Simple, light, waterproof and the best thing about it is that for the 5 years I had the last one I never changed the battery (1 AA) once.The clippers are loose so you just have to have a wash bag to keep them safe! I love it!

Been using the Fusion Styler since last year and it works out well. It does shave properly and it comes with additional trims based on your beard level. The only dowside I would say is that you would nerf to clean it properly before next use. Otherwise, won't trim well.

Great present for a teenager who is starting to find hair, where there wasn't any before !My son loves his, bought for him as an Xmas pressieNow he can keep the rogue chin hairs under controlBoth of them....... :)

OK for the sideboards etc and straightening up the teacher but rips the pubes on the balls, I used it on recommendations on here and only used ut as I need a medical procedure requiring shaved balls...never again.

Only ever used this as a trimmer , great all round for all body hair , cuts public area down really close not completely bald but very close to the skin never nicked myself once and cooked with skin guards

Great for those small areas that go amiss, just easy to pick up switch on and away you go. Added advantage its waterproof, can be used with my fusion blades I already shave with.

Works very well as a beard trimmer with the combs and also the attachment for the Fusion razor blades to have a close shave is a good idea as you just need the one razor.

I don't write many reviews unless something is really good or really bad. This is not the top of the range but excellent value for money. Great bit of kit.

I was looking for this razor as my previous one was lost, it’s very handy for doing a clean shave or a close shave with trimming the beard.
