I`ve built three top end gaming PCs last year using Gigabyte Ultra Durable ATX boards. All PCs working fantastic and installing Windows was simple.So, now I needed a new Home Theatre PC I went with Gigabyte again, only micro ATX this time.The motherboard needed a BIOS update, this started to run OK, loaded the new BIOS and began to erase the old one.It was sat on 0% for half an hour which I thought was a long time. Four and a half hours later it STILL hadn`t moved.I had no choice but to reboot the PC with the thought in my mind that if it had started to erase the BIOS then things may not go well. I was hoping that it had "frozen" before it had actually started to erase.However, on reboot it was dead.

Good board for a budget. Used an intel i3 9100f with this.Not sure if my board was faulty but it didnt post or beep and was in reboot loop unless I used a gpu+8gb ram+cpu and fan. Was very frustrating to debug but its running now.Very good value for money especially with a i3 9th gen can't go wrong. I'm able to use usb3, m.2 and pcie express but one of them is in a bad position right below the gpu slot basically making it unusable.If your looking for budget now with a good upgrade path, i recommend this and upgrading ur ssd, gpu and ram in the future.

Have always used gigabyte motherboards, there have always been reliable and come with a 3 year warranty for piece of mind. All the sata ports are the right place, and all case wire connections are labeled visablely. This board is good for general office work and will support i3 8th gen /i5 procceessors. If you want this for home i would suggest getting the next model up, beacuse that has hdmi and a m. 2 slot. For me this was for a office who's monitors were old vga connection. Overall good entry level to mid boards.

It has old serial and parallel outputs and it is meant to have a VGA output (on board) graphics but I cannot get this to work. There is no option in the BIOS to enable or disable this feature. Unless you have a graphics you WILL get 5 beeps on post. This is misleading as the Gigabyte support article says this is a CPU error. Its a video error. I can confirm mine shipped with the latest BIOS which supported the 9th Gen CPUs[update] I didnt realise intel now have cpus with no graphics processor. this was my issue.

An excellent value motherboard, I’ve just completed a build of this board with an i3 8100 cpu, 8Gb value ram, an SSD drive and coupled with a good graphics card it is a great gaming rig. Just be aware that there is only one system fan header so for extra fans you’ll need get a piggyback link.

This motherboard arrived on time no hassle.Fitted into my mid tower case albeit a little smaller than i originally though but size isnt everything :Pwas only bought for my sons budget G5400 PC so will be more than perfect.Happy Customer

I'm glad I ignored them as this is a fantastic board, although there are only 2 RAM slots as the price of DDR4 is so high right now I can only justify paying for 16 gigs right now anyway :P

A nice entry level motherboard which is great for either a solid home PC or an entry level gaming PC. Wouldn't pair it with anything north of an i5 9400f though! Would recommend!

I used this motherboard for a standby PC that I put together. I watched Carey Holzman's Youtube videos to help me. I've pleased with the results.
