Good value sleeping bag. I've slept in some really cold conditions up in Scotland and I have to say this sleeping really did a good job keeping me warm and the 'hood' at the top of the sleeping bag gives some nice insulation for your head.I'm 6ft and fairly stocky but there was plenty of space and width in the sleeping bag to move around a bit and get comfy.Only issues with it are that the zip tends to get a wee bit caught occasionally, although it's not a massive issue, and it can be a little bit tricky to roll it up again and get it back in it' bag... but again it's not really a massive problem.Overall really good product, and good value for money. If you're looking for an affordable sleeping bag to keep you warm when you're out on the trek you can't go too wrong with this one.

Really low cost but has everything you could want in a bag. Draw hood, shoulder baffle, 2 way zip, internal pull for zip, compression sack, internal pocket for valuables. It states 2-3 season, comfortable at 4.3 degress and extreme to -0.9 degrees (we have not tested this but some comments seem to state other temperatures).Delivery was fast. We bought it for our daughter and I am well impressed. As someone who has purchased many bags over the years from 1-5 season and really expensive makes I think this is well worth the money. You'd pay £30-40 at least for something in an outdoor shop.Lining is cotton rather than pertex type material but this is more comfortable (especially for novice users)so not a downside but not something I am used to.

This is the first sleeping bag I've purchased, having always borrowed from family members or friends previously and I'm really happy with it. The bag is really soft both inside and outside and therefore very comfy. The hood is nice and big with a pulley so you can adjust round your head on those extra cold nights. I used this for 4 nights in Wales at a festival in August when the weather was probably around 10-15C at night and this was perfect. The zip was a bit stiff at times near the top, but this may just be my bag. The only problem I have is the age old problem of getting it back in the bag! I found it a bit difficult to roll due to the shape bag into the bag,but I may just not have the technique!

Very very pleased with our new sleeping bags, defintely made the right choice with this one! Good quality, thick and look much more expensive than the £17.00 I paid. I was unsure about ordering a mummy style bag as I thought it might be too confining, especially at the feet end but it's huge, plenty of room to move around and curl up etc. It's a really nice colour too - a definite 'must have'! The only difficulty I had was getting it out of it's 'stuff bag', it was such a tight fit, so whether I'll be able to get it back in again is another matter (I'm sure with a bit of perseverence it'll go in) but don't let that put you off - it's a great buy!

I got this to use in our( tiny) caravan after reading other reviews. It actually doesn't fit me too snugly, as I am also tiny, but there is room for me and my (not quite tiny) dog in it, and we were comfortably warm, thank you very much!I wouldn't like to be in a snowstorm in the Brecon Beacons in bivouac tent in this, butI think that is partly because this is a generous size so it's harder for me to get it warmed up.I have taken a star off because it is a bugger to get in and out of the carrying case. My hubby can manage it, but my thin weedy girl's arms aren't strong enough.

Bought this after studying reviews for much more expensive sleeping bags, and wasn't disappointed.Delivery was much quicker than originally suggested, and being able to track it online meant I could be in when it arrived. The sleeping bag is very warm and comfortable. Although I used it during July, the weather wasn't that warm and I spent one evening shivering - until I got into my sleeping bag and was warm as toast immediately. Surprisingly, with a little bit of care I can even get it back into the sack. The only problem I've noticed is that it is very easy to snag the zip.

My 9 yr. old grew out of his children's sleeping bag that we used for sleep overs and summer camping trips.I found that one too flimsy for camping and wanted a better bag that will hopefully see him through adolescence (and may be inherited by his younger brother).I utterly recommend the Gelert Tryfan 300 DL: It's very warm (British Camping trips are usually cold and wet), very comfortable and has lots of space for growing legs. My son loves it!It's also very fluffy but compresses beautifully inside it's bag so it's easy to pack.

Perfect level of warmth for an almost chilly night, but the sleeping bag really keeps you warm.I am quite tall and I have no problem getting all the way inside it, so length wise it is ideal.I also found it great that it is quite easy to store afterwards and it gets really small when you store it and it is also quite light to carry, so it doesn't add a lot to the carrying load. The zip really seals you in, so you are very well isolated from the cold.A good quality sleeping bag that is worth its price and more.

I've used this sleeping bag a few times lately. I've slept on in with using only a tarp as a cover from the elements, and it kept me warm with temperatures around 0ºC (I had 4 ou 5 layers of clothing on me too, but what would you expect?), so it's relatively warm. Also important: I'm 185 and rather bulky, and I fit perfecly on this.I highly recommend this product. Although the build quality IS NOT top notch, it hasn't failed me yet.Beware, this is a very bulky item, and requires lots of space on your backpack.

Bought this for my grandson for an overnight college field trip. He was really happy with the quality and thinks it will be warm enough for another trip early next year. He even managed to get it, neatly, back into its bag!! Only downside - I thought I was buying one with a zip in the right hand side. However, when it came, the zip is on the left which is a little awkward for a right-hander and I had no time to send it back. Still gave it 5 stars as the quality and price were great.

Excellent delivery - ordered Tue afternoon, delivered Wed afternoon!! Excellent sleeping bag and at a great price.Replaces my lost military spec softie sleeping bag - intended for using whilst Offshore Yacht Racing. Needed 2/3 season bag minimum, and after 2 hours searching different sites, this one was the best value for the spec. The delivery estimate was disappointing - 3-5 days when previewing, then 10 days when order placed, but it turned up in 24 hours.

I bought this to go camping with an orchestra. Being May, it still got quite cold at night and most people were complaining about having to wear multiple, thick layers to bed each night to keep warm. I was sleeping in just one thin layer and was comfortably warm in this sleeping bag. It was brilliant. I took an extra blanket just in case but didn't use it all trip! Highly recommend this product, although maybe not for a tall person as it is not that long.

I ordered this sleeping bag because I was going away a weekend, and didn't fancy spending too much on it. The price is pretty damn good. and for the product I wouldn't hesitate given that you aren't going to stay in very cold places. as it isn't rated to withstand too cold surroundings. It is a slightly bulky thing, and I fixed that more or less by packing it tight, and using the straps to tighten it further.5/5 for value and functionality.

It is what it is.............it's a sleeping bag. Good Value for money and kept me warm whilst camping with an outside temperature of around 6-8deg.Just be warned that if you like to stretch your legs a little, then you may find this a little constricting. The only other criticism I have is that it is a nightmare getting back in its bag! It can be done, but not with out a struggle.Other than that, its a good sleeping bag and good value.

Both my son and I are really pleased with the sleeping bag, a little heavier than most of the cheaper ones on Amazon at the moment but the quality seems good. Looks like it will be really good for summer camping, sleep overs of for getting cosy on the sofa.Well worth the £20 paid for it however a little dissapointed to find Tescos selling a comparable "Gelert" sleeping bag for just £11 at the moment!!!Recommended
