Better than the council provided subscription services at a fraction of the cost. I replaced the £20 per month council service with one of these for my 90yo aunt after they failed to do anything of practical benefit when she fell leaving her on the floor for 4 hours and also realised the ridiculous cost of their unsatisfactory service.Will require you to set it up for your elderly relative with up to 5 phone numbers of people it will call in turn until it gets an answer. Also serves as an emergency alarm in the house for others in the house to respond. She wears the button 24/7 and loves it.One niggle is that having pushed the emergency button and the phone called you it doesn't clear down the line when you then hang up at the called persons end.

Just bought this and am still learning about it. My wife has very limited vision and this was meant mainly for her. Some of the stuff like the five one touch numbers is standard but the verbal confirmation of numbers entered is perfect for her. The buttons are large and easy to find and the calls are announced by ringer, light, spoken numbers and name. There is also a five number sequence of emergency numbers on the SOS button and bracelet. That allows the phone to cycle through five pre-sellected contacts until one answers. We are both still learning how to use it but my wife is delighted and telling all her friends what a great item this is.

Bought for aged Mother in law it was perfect 5*
