On a cold winters eve, I began to brush my false teeth as usual before retiring to the bed chamber after a delightful day of frivolity! When all of a sudden, without warning or pretence I was cast into darkness and shadow as the lightbulb in my bathroom whispered it's parting breath!The good people of Amazon promptly despatched a knightly courier to deliver a replacement bulb. Oh what joy, what rapture.... the bulb has brought warmth and light back into the lives of my family as we sit upon our throne of porcelain!I feel re-born!!!

This new 2D fluorescent lamp supplied by Dependable Trading was exactly as described, it was well packaged and delivered 3 days from order. I considered this excellent service. The lamp performs well, but in my experience these GE lamps fail well short of the manufacturer's claimed life of 15,000 hours, the two predecessors lasting just 2 years 8 months and 7 years 2 months respectively in my kitchen ceiling fitting at home.

We bought a light some time ago with energy saving bulbs. The only problem was they were very hard to get hold of. In my opinion they do not last as long as we would like. Had the lights about four years and have replaced bulbs twice. Mother in law has same lights and has had the same problem. We are now led to believe that these are now discontinued. Have to change light next time.

I found this bulb replaced the old one perfectly, we weren't sure as the code seemed different slightly, but I asked the seller and he reassured me it was the correct bulb, so I bought it. It fit and gives a bright bathroom light. Would recommend buying, if you are not sure if its the correct one ask the seller.

This is a good product at a very reasonable price. I could not find a replacement bulb on the high street or the usual DIY shops. They usually stock a smaller version but I needed the full size version as in my light fitting the starter unit fits in the gap between the support arms.

Good product, it gives out a good light and at a great price compared to well known stores. The bulb has only just been fitted, so I will have to see if it lasts as long as the one that came with the light fitting (3 years) for comparison.

There are that many variations of this fitting that I was not sure if it would work or even fit but it seems that as long as your fitting looks correct to the photo and it has the right number of pins then it will work.

The light packaging was easy to open and recycle. The light works just like original. These bulbs use a starter switch which sometimes need replacing but not in my case. Overall happy with product after 1 month's usage.

Could have had 5 stars but it is difficult to compare with a similar product.Will only know if 5 stars would have been appropriate when actual operating life of product is known.Definitely recommend so far.

just had to buy this replacement bulb from GE. It has lasted 10 years in my office, on every working day. That's about 20,000 hours, so their promise of 15,000 hours is well-achieved. Well done bulb!

Was a bit dim and flickered for a while after it was first installed, but was fine and bright after it had "warmed up" and has been fine ever since. Did make me think I had a dud at first.

Not as bright as my last one but personally I prefer it. Very easy to place, used in my bathroom. Came in one piece which is excellent for this kind of fragile product.

Arrived proptly. Surprisingly cheap. Fixing it into my light-fitting was very easy. It even seems to give out a brighter light than I remember from its predessor.

spent weeks without a light in bathroom as it looked unusual, then I googled the product code on bulb and hey presto...easy to order and had it within days

Very happy with delivery, packaging and quality of product. Was going to buy this from a local shop...it was £14 there for exactly the same bulb!!!
