I've had acne and problem skin for most of my adult years. My skin is also extremely sensitive, scarred, and very dry, so I have to be careful with the things I put onto it. This was expensive but I thought I'd give it a go. And WOW! My skin felt smoother immediately after use, and I could see subtle improvements even after a few days. It's now been around four weeks, I've been using it every day (sometimes once, sometimes twice - it doesn't go so well under make-up, so I usually apply it at night), and my scars have faded, my pores have gotten smaller, so overall creating a more smooth and even texture, and also not absorbing as much dirt, so I've had very few new spots, if any at all.

I don’t have acne, oily or blemish prone skin which is what it was tested on. However I do have very dry, sometimes flakey thin pale sensitive skin that is prone to lots of tiny blockages and blackheads. I didn’t think it would work on me, but after hearing that it worked for a friend who has exactly the same skin problem and type as me who said it was amazing, I tried it out. I’ve now been using it daily for about 3 months now, and although it didn’t help my skin clear up, it really does help reduce the reoccurrence of them after I’ve got rid of the blockages through extraction and microdermabrasion combined with my new sonic skin scraper (which I don’t like to do very often).

I used to suffer with a hen as a teenager and so was prescribed a contraception pill by my Dr to help balance my hormones and clear away my spots as well provide sufficient contraception. I have always suffered with spots but since this time they have been well controlled. Now as an adult, I decided to stop my contraception approx 6 months ago and since that time, my issue with spots has slowly returns and progressively got worse much like when I was a teenager.I purchase this cream earlier this week in the hope that this would help clear my face!I have been using this cream so far for 2 days and can honestly say that I’ve seen a huge difference.I haven’t used it along side any other same brand

I'm on my second tube of this, and it is great and helping with breakouts. I was impressed with how I had fewer spots and the ones I did get cleared up in a few days rather than over a week. I also had a really bad break out on my chest and this has been amazing at turning it from a total embarrassing mess to being only slightly affected. However I've had to ease up on using as I started to get very dry spots on my combination skin. I tried applying to only the worst affected parts of skin but then spots have started popping up on the dry parts. When I apply a dab of cream to a spot on a dry part, it burns. I'll still use this, but more cautiously and maybe only when I'm feeling particularly spotty rather than every day,

Since first buying this a few years ago, it has been my one and only go-to moisturiser, and I always buy it from Amazon or Lookfantastic as it is around £5 cheaper than in local pharmacies. It is soothing, non pore-clogging, light, clear and seems to help combat my acne with its active ingredients. My skin feels a little softer after putting it on too.It is rather light, so for those that get dry skin especially in the colder seasons, I would suggest getting an extra cream for more intense hydration. My skin tends to dry out in the autumn and winter, so I just apply the cheap and cheerful The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA (hyaluronic acid) on top of the LRP Effaclar Duo in those times.I use it once a day,

I never write reviews, but had to make an exception this time - the moisturiser has transformed my skin in under a week! I struggle with moderate acne and have tried oral and topical antibiotics, LED light therapy, different types of retinoids and medical cosmetics, elimination diets and lifestyle changes but nothing seemed to help. I bought this product because I ran out of my usual moisturiser and the results have been absolutely astonishing - the spots have dried up and new ones have not appeared, the redness is reduced greatly as well! Can not wait to see long term results - highly recommend this product

Don’t be fooled by the bad comments of this moisturiser, I started using this and had my reservations as at first when I used it it seemed strong on my skin and quite a strong smell however I kept on with it and I have never seen my skin in better condition. Naturally not everyone’s skin is going to agree with this as I’m sure they are like with other moisturisers until they find the right one however I can have quite oily skin and it’s just fantastic. Will happily keep spending my money on this. I use this with the la Roche posay Gel face wash every morning and night.

Before I started using this moisturiser, I was struggling with blemish and acne prone skin with redness and puss filled pores. I tried and failed using several brands. I have now been using the La Roche-Posay moisturiser for over 4 weeks, with this being my second purchase and the results have been fantastic. The redness has reduced, so have the painful pores. My skin is much clearer, smoother, fresh and bright. Honestly, this moisturiser is amazing. Give this a go if like you suffer from blemishes, redness, painful pores and acne, it could really help you!

I was dreading to order it as I’ve read reviews saying that it doesn’t match high street product. However I can’t feel any difference at all. Smell is just the same and the product seems to be genuine.This moisturiser is great. It’s pricey but does wonders. I started my third tube now. I have acne prone skin and this is one of the best moisturisers I’ve ever used. Easy to apply. Don’t need a lot of product. The smell and consistency is amazing. Helps to keep my skin clean from spots. I love how it moisturises through out the day. Would recommend!

I have been looking for a good skin product to help my acne and it has always been quite a disappointment and I could never see the results. After few days of applying the cream day and night, I can see that my skin looks way better and it is not as red as before. The colour of my skin is more homogeneous and uniform: it looks way cleaner and smoother. Apparently, it takes four weeks to see the final results, so I am very excited and looking forward to see! I would definitely recommend this product for people like me who suffer with acne problems.

I’ve been using this for a few months now, and I would definitely recommend it. My skin has started to clear but I’m not sure if it’s down to this product or just because I’m coming out of my teenage acne phase. What I can say however is that this doesn’t irritate or make my acne worse like some other moisturisers do. So if you’re looking for a product that will moisturise your skin but won’t irritate acne, and maybe even improve it slightly, I’d definitely recommend it. Only down side is that it’s a bit pricey.

I can’t recommend this enough. This moisturiser is a life saver! I always use it in spring/summer season as my skin gets more oily with the heat and the breakouts start but with this cream it doesn’t happen. I wouldn’t recommend it in winter as it definitely dries the skin out and feels tight even if your skin is combination like mine (saying it by experience!) but when the heat is here go for it! I have also noticed my scars have faded with the use of it so I am happy with it

I am on my 3rd tube of this cream. It is so good at correcting skin tone as well as keeping oily skin at bay. I have had loads of comments on the improvement of the appearance of my skin. I also suffer from thread veins and rosy cheeks. It has made such a difference to my skin tone, oily skin and rosy cheeks. I love it. My daughter uses it for break outs too and she swears by it as well. Even my beautician that does my facials commented on my skins improvement.

I’ve found this cream to be the best moisturiser I’ve ever used. I have combination skin, which is also acne-prone, as well as eczema (although I don’t usually get it on my face), and sensitive skin too. I’ve found this cream to reduce shine, keep my face moisturised all day, and it reduces blemishes and scars. Also, it lasts a long time, as a little bit goes a long way. I’ve been using it for many months now and I’m going to continue to buy and use it.

This is amazing. I've had redness around my nose all my life, with in 4 days use I have noticed a reduction in the redness and my skin looks amazing. I also use a moisturiser a couple of minutes after using his product. Ideally using moisturiser with SPF factor 50, with UVA UV protection.I recommend watching reviews on YouTube for in-depth information and guidance, from dermatologists and long time users.AmazingViva la François!
