I absolutely love these & had been moved to write a review after seeing a few mixed ones so far. I've had mine for well over a year now & I couldn't recommend them highly enough.I wear them 2 sometimes 3 times a week & they are showing no signs of wear & tear at all, despite being washed countless times. Contrary to some other reviews on here I find them to be extremely robust & well made.I've yet to experience any kind of impact injury since wearing them. Although I was perturbed after first unwrapping them to be greeted by a warning on the back that said 'for indoor use only'.This seems bizarre as I'd been sold on the idea of shelling out for them after hearing a few players had been wearingthem in the World Cup & seeing a short video of Pele dropping a bowling ball from chest height onto a wine bottle that was protected these beauties. The wine bottle survives & I think Pele modestly claims he would scored 2000 goals if he had these in his day ?.I wasn't really sure what to make of the 'indoor only' warning but all I can say is they withstood over a season of Sunday League & power league football with no problems at all.Best of all they are light & so much more comfortable than traditional shin pads. You will notice a significant reduction in the dreaded 'shin pad control' too.I have the black elite version by the way.

My daughter started with the G-Form Elite pads. With back to back games we wanted to get her a back up pair of shin pads, so we went with Pro-S. The Pro-S has a much thicker padding. You can see the comparison in my 4th picture. My daughter plays center mid for 2 different teams, and she takes a beating. The Pro-S ( Yellow ) pads seem to provide her with more protection over the thinner elite. So much, so we purchased another pair of the Pro-S's for games and competitions. We decided ( She did as well ) to use the elites just for practices .She also has the G-Form Ankle guards as well.Getting these on are fairly easy for her but taking them off take a little effort. You're not going to just pull them off.You will need to basically just roll them down. The best part is you can just toss these in the washer to keep them clean and fresh !!! ( Hang to dry of course )She is wearing the Adult M and they give her excellent shin coverage and do not slip around or move especially with her socks over. She also sometime wears ankle compression socks under these shin pads and still no issues wearing them.We both feel that these provide more surface area coverage over your traditional hard shell shin pads and give more breathability and comfort.

These shin guards make a great first impression with the classy packaging. I am just under 6’ and 170 pounds, and the Large size fits perfectly. I am going to wear them normally for indoor soccer, and I am also going to try wearing them backwards for ball hockey. For hockey, I wear the Mylec MK5 15-INCH SHIN PADs which are very good, but they only protect the front and sides of my legs. Taking a hard shot off the back of your leg is no fun. The bruise in the photo is already 10 days old.UPDATE after 2 months - You can definitely wear them backwards to protect your calf muscles, but I worried that doing so would make them stretch in a way that meant they no longer fit as well when worn normally. So now I wear the Nike Adult Mercurial Lite SuperLock Soccer Shin Guards on the back of my legs for ball hockey. But the G-Form Pro-S Elite Shin Guards are GREAT for indoor soccer where most people don't wear shin pads. You still get a good level of protection, but if you make shin on shin contact you won't hurt someone's bare leg like you could if you were wearing a hard, plastic shin guard like the Adidas X-Pros.

Sometimes you just have to put in a review. Bought these 4 months ago. He's used them for about 20 games so far. Not a single tear or stitch undone! It's simple, turn it sideways when putting on or taking off, point your foot and grab at the foam on one side while bunching up the material and grabbing a few inches up on the other side. In other words, don't grab at the very edge of them and try to pull. They're not made of titanium. When taking them off, turn sideways and slide down a little to allow some air to get in and skin to dry a little, then follow above mention method to remove. Works all the time. My son is 5' 2" tall, 115 lbs and regular build (not fat or thin). We bough adult medium. My son says he can still feel when he's hit with these, but not to the point of getting hurt or bruised. He likes them for drop and goal kicks better than rigid shin guards. We did not buy the ankle guards of the same brand. Instead we got these (Adidas Ankle Guard Brace Shield Protector Dual Sided for Soccer Football): http://a.co/1weJTmd

Review:These shin guards are a very great pair of shin guards! They are very lightweight and very comfortable. As opposed to the regular style slip-on shin guards favored by many, these offer the complete slip-on in just one piece and one movement. They fit very great and protect very well. These shin guards are also machine washable, meaning you could throw them in the washer after every use, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and thus keeping them fresh and clean and making them last longer than the average shin guards.Experience:Using these shin guards is very easy and simple. They go in place of your regular shin guards, but as a one-piece construction. They protect your shins very well and are very lightweight. They are also very convenient as they are very easy to slip on and off. After each use, just throw them in the washer on cold and let air dry and they are ready to go for the next training session/game.All in all, these shin guards are well worth the price as they will last you a long time if properly cared for.

As someone that hates hard plastic shin guards, these seriously cannot be beat. My shin bones are noticeably sharp (my wife thinks they are deadly razors), so I've never really enjoyed how most of the harder shin guards fit. The newer "slip in" models are even worse than what the ones I grew up with, so I've had to hunt quite a bit to find something comfortable that would do the job.I'm currently on my second pair of these, and I don't think I'll be buying any other type in the foreseeable future. They absorb impact really well, and despite all my other bruises from playing, my shins remain unscathed. The ONLY complaint I have is that the first pair I had ripped slightly when putting them on - basically the Spandex/Nylon part has some seams that are a bit fragile. If you're careful taking them off and on it won't rip (my second pair hasn't), but the seam/stitching/material on the back is a little weak. Despite the tear I wore them for 2 seasons, at which point the hole opened up a bit too much and I got a second pair.

These are great, for so many reasons:1 -Comfort. My older son who has a men's large has been exclusively using the small slip-in style that are so favored by pros and teens. He likes these more.2 - They stay. Obviously, they don't fall off. But that's a big deal as my older son refused to bother with the retaining "socks" that are supposed to go with the slip-in style, so at least once a match he had a shin guard go flying out.3 - No itch. Huh? Well, my younger son has struggled with itchy shin guards. Or more accurately, bad itching on his legs when he wore shin guards. He would stand there, barely able to play, scratching furiously during practices and games. And long after he took the shin guards off, too. We tried everything: different styles of shin guards, using different styles of shin guard holders with pockets so no skin contact with shin guard, lotions, salves, you name it. Nothing seemed to make a difference until I got him these. No more itching.

Feel more kick ass than Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat, great for bicycling and kick stopping oh, I imagine soccer is really fun in these they're so comfortable for them to your leg and protect really well while not being any more visible than normal under your pants. I feel like a Ninja Turtle and they're so comfortable I could fall asleep with them on and probably would be protected in case I kicked out in the night while dreaming or something. shins scrape not a single bit and they are solid. no fray to be seen after a week of cycling and I am mindful usually but stopping the pedal on my shin was a bad habit that would cut my legs. now they are protected by my awareness and any accidents moving forward,or if I slip and the pedal thwacks me or spins up too much while resetting at intersections and stops on my extensive ebike trips at work.

Bought for U10 competitive boys soccer. Since buying these shin guards there has never been another argument or reminder about putting them on. My son absolutely loves them because they are comfortable, they stay in place, they wrap around his calves a bit and absorb impact well. I love the fact that I can wash them and once they are on, he doesn't fidget or mess with them at all. My son has no problem getting the on by himself, they are a bit challenging for him to get off (although, that could be laziness). He is a medium sized 10 year old, and we bought the adult medium. I thought they would be too big, but they stay in place. We used our first pair about 1 year before one of the seams began to split apart, but I hand sewed them together and we have been fine. We did buy a second pair as a backup. I highly recommend these.

My daughter says these are the best shin guards she has ever worn. They go on easy, stay in place, and are very comfortable. We have used the stirrup(cheaper adidas and nike) and slip in(adidas ghost pro) kind of shin guards previously and while they worked there were always issues. Either rubbing/chaffing with the stirrups or the guard would move to uncomfortable places on the slip ins. The G-Forms stay put and do not move. And since they are so flexible they conform to the individuals shin really well. Oh and despite being soft to the touch, they really do work and protect the legs when kicked. Thinking about getting her the pants and shirt for goalkeeping next. The sizing guide worked well in making sure we got the correct size for her and the fit great. These shin guards are worth every penny and then some.

I bought these for my 10 year old daughter who plays but Rec and Club. She is not that big about 4'11" but she found the Adult Medium to be the perfect fit. I was skeptical at first being a coach myself that these would provide her with the protection that she needs. She says that after putting them on she does not feel like she is wearing anything. She already has taken some kicks and no marks or bruises on her shins. I also bought the G-Form Ankle guards as well because I feel as competitive as she is, her ankles need the protection. The only Con is taking them off. After wearing them for about 2 hours they take some time to pull off.She has tried turning them to the side but seems just slowly working them down is the best. She wears these against her skin with socks over top.

Bought small for my 11 year old daughter. She plays center mid and take a beating, legs constantly bruised up. After switching to these from Nike mercurial slide ins, bruises reduced by at least half if not more. She also says these are more comfortable. They doubt slip and slide around either and appear to be much more breathable. My only complaint about these is they are difficult for her to get them off herself and I often have to help her with that, and the high price. Assuming they continue to hold help well as they have so far, they are probably worth the price. Better protection, better comfort and fit, better breathability, don't have to worry about keeping track of or buying extra shin guard holders/sleeves.Bought a second pair for my 13 old son.

I have played and coached soccer over 40 years, and I have 3 boys that play. I have bought every shin guard I have ever come across in search of one that is comfortable and offers great protection and these are BY FAR the BEST! My kids play in competitive leagues up to U-15. These guard protect very well, my oldest got kicked in the shin by a kid shooting the ball when he took the ball from him. As he braced for the impact he told me he was waiting for the pain to hit from the impact and told me he barely felt the kick. I couldn't more highly recommend this product!Oh and we wash our every week, no issues with them comping apart and have had for 2 seasons. We threw away all of their shin guards and bought these for all my boys that play!

Being a relatively new mountain biker, I was in the market for shin protection on the chance my foot slipped and pedals smacked my shins. As chance would have it, it's happened a few time and the shin guards worked great. Not only that as I ride mostly single track. that means the path is pretty narrow and lined with grasses, bushes, and branches. The shin guards brush everything aside so I'm able to wear shorts rather than thick pants. They're very comfortable and slip on snug. They are a little difficult to remove, but that's due to the moisture. I've worn them plenty of times, and the bottom has stretched some, but the snug fit hasn't been compromised. I'll be purchasing knee pads next.

My daughter plays competitive soccer and we purchased these shin guards on Feb. 8, 2018. It is now March 2019 and we are having to purchase another pair as the seams have completely ripped on our current pair. She loved the flexible support of these shin guards and if you would have asked me a year ago we would have given it 5 stars but since we are having to buy new ones we are only giving it 4 stars. I understand and can see if you wash them multiple times the wash could break down the seams but to be honest I bet we washed hers less than 10 times over the course of the year. We are ordering another pair and will update our review if we need too.
