This brolly is well made with a strong central pole and a decent cover. The in-hand comfort of the handle is compromised to get the desired effect of compactness but I knew this going in. You can't have everything and if you accept that you will be very happy with this. It's very small and compact and takes up very little room in my briefcase. It's 'squared-off' shape helps it fit well with the other things I carry in my briefcase and slots in better than a more rounded model would.Happy and would recommend.

This umbrella is very well made, and has 10 fabric sections as appose to 7 or 8 like most other small umbrellas. It has a strong and sturdy construction, and actually has some weight to it, so it doesn't feel like it will blow away easily. It is also comfortable to use with a rubberised handle. The quick release button to open it is a definate plus, and still just as easy to close. This umbrella will withstand sum fairly strong wind and rain. Would most definitely recommend. Excellent value for money ?

If you want a truly mini umbrella that fits in most small bags & large coat pockets, it's a toss up between this and one of the mini Knirps offerings. I've had a couple of these Fultons, which have both lasted about 18 months: one blew inside out in a shower of aluminium shards in a strong wind, and the other has just broken a couple of struts after regular use. My ultra-mini Knirps is still going after about 3 years and packs smaller, but it does cost 3x as much.

Really like this. Bought this especially to carry in my bag on days out. It is well made and is ideal for the purpose it was intended. I used it for the first time at the weekend whilst out on a coach trip. Two people commented how good it seemed and asked where I had purchased it from. It is good to know it is nestled in my bag should it be needed.. Being it folds down so small I am not tempted to risk going out without it.

Does the job right and is wind resistant. The umbrella is very small and fits in the pockets of my jeans. However this portability has the downside that it is a small umbrella and is meant to be only used for one person.As others have mentioned the handle is everything but ergonomical, but this is just a small con for a very good pocketable umbrella. Would definity recommend!

The umbrella folds up to be extremely small in size however it can be on the flimsy side as a result of the small size. I take this out with me and put it in my pocket as a back up if I am caught by surprise by a shower, but If I know a heavy shower is coming and I have access to another stronger umbrella I will take that one. But as an emergency umbrella it does the job.

I've owned this umbrella for years, and lost it in a cinema recently, so had to re-order straight away. It's SO light, slender and fits in smaller handbags so well that I would never use any other umbrella. Thw wind resistance is also pretty good for a small umbrella.

This is perfect for travelling, as a man I've only ever had big golf umbrellas but with a daily commute I needed a small, compact umbrella. This is perfect for that, it's very small when folded up. Not sure how it would fair in high winds but very good nonetheless.

+ Packs up fairly easily+ Compact+ Supposedly wind resistant design* Plain look- The handle is designed for compactness (which it does well), not ease to be held.- Small size. Couldn't be any smaller, but maybe this helps with compactness / wind resistance.

It doesn't rain often in Portugal, but sometimes we have stormy days with rain and strong winds. So a good umbrella is necessary...Tired of crappy umbrellas, i decided to buy this Fulton umbrella. I already test it, and i'm pleased with the construction.

Very neat and a smart finish and design. Considering its size, weight and construction, it's strong - though wouldn't use it if it were really blowing. I bought it to slip in the small door gusset in the car, and you wouldn't know it was there.

Bought this as a replacement for my previous one which I had had for years but left on a train. I would say this is considerably more substantial and robust than the previous version - it's noticeably heavier. Excellent value.

It is a little bit hard to hold but it's so small and easy to fit in a bag I just don't care. I'm only going to be walking from the train station or to my car, it's not like I'll be holding it for hours. This is a good brolly.

Due to very good weather not had a chance to use it in anger yet, hence the 4 stars , but had a dry run and everything appears in order. Nice and compact and fits in the bottom of my rucksack without taking up much room.

I always buy these for my husband, until he loses them lolBut they fit perfectly in a gentleman's coat pocket. Also fits in a ladies handbag without taking up too much room.Lightweight and flat.Highly recommended.
