No doubting this is one of the sturdiest umbrella's I've ever owned, but when the wind picks up it's also a bit of a beast to manage! My daughter was using it walking down to school and a gust of wind ended up spinning her around and stepping out into the road! I like the carrying case which means I take it out more as I can throw it over my shoulder/back and look like an 'umbrella-wielding samurai warrior' but just take care when it gets a little windy. You might be better with one of the windproof options that open up a little, although they will eventually break.

Yes it's not a cheapy brolly, but for handmade British build quality, and the look of, woah its a Fulton, priceless... The material of the canopy makes rain fall bead up and roll off, unlike any of my other umbrellas, one quick shake before putting it away, and for all intents and purposes its dry as a bone,The shoulder sling is a nice touch, and its highly practical.Not tried it in high winds, but let's face it, when the rain is coming at you sideways, its renders any umbrella pretty useless

Haven’t tested in high wind but very well built and looks like it will do the job. I put it up when it rained, and I stayed dry - plenty of others to choose from but very good quality

In the summer we're having this has been invaluable. however be aware it's not a fold away but the cover with strap makes it easy to carry

What a beast! Live in Gothenburg, Sweden. Really wet and windy here and this umbrella prooved to be perfect. Buildquality is super!

I love Fulton umbrellas, I hope this Cyclone lasts as long as my 17 year old (still in use) huntsman umbrella
