Fitted this head set to my bike this morning. FSA make good quality products at a great price and this is no exception. If you have not fitted one of these to a bike you need to be aware that normally they recommend using specialist tools but I have managed to fit it with only basic tools. There is an included idiots guide which shows how assembly is completed depending on the type of head set being assembled. It pretty much covers all types of stem. all in all a great piece of gear which I know will last for years.

This is an excellent item with the larger bearing on the bottom face of the head set. What is more important i never swore once whilst fitting this item. Its as smooth as a babies buttocks well worth buying for serious mountain bikers.

Can’t beat this headset! Used the same headset many years ago and they can really take a beating so when I saw they still made it I bought one to build up a retro bike, still performs brilliantly and as always with FSA, great finish!

Cracking bit of kit and very robust .Its for a recumbent so it was rather OTT for my build but I wanted a long lasting product and this is it

not convinced that this is actually he Pig DH as no markings on it (unlike the one i removed and the one in the picture), but fits and works

Absolutely spot on for my DJ bike. Proper serviceable, oversized caged bearings. Usual outstanding quality from FSA.

For a 1 1/8 inch headset I doubt if you can find better since this provides an outsize ball race on the bottom

Does what it was designed for. I would never fit anything else but fsa.Affordable and top quality

fixed my problem, the instructions are a little hard to figure out if you're not experienced
