These reels are the absolute nuts for the money i have had a lot of reels including castizms and tournies etc etc and as for the extricator reels from wychwood no just no...these are obviously a fraction of the price but in use you couldnt tell! Great line clip...super smooth front drag thats not so fast you can't adjust it during fight without locking up easily and thereby lose a fish like some other reels....casts well decent line lay even with heavy flurocarbon ...handle has no play to speak of....balanced rotor...fast retrieve....looks pukka....especially once you use a bit of wd40 to remove the writing on the spool so it's all black!

The reel is super smooth straight out of the box. very good line lay which will aid casting. The clutch is second to none. does take a couple of turns to slacken off nothing a couple of carbon washers won't sort if you must.All black very carpy :-) spare spools are available.Quick retrieve rate and large easy to grip handle.All in all better than reels 3 times the price.

I payed £40 for this and it’s pretty amazing, for 2 reals costing me £80 and the quality beat wayy more expensive reals, would recommend for a mini big pit or commercial waters

Awesome little reel, I bought this for my surface fishing rod but these would balance out superbly on a set of 10ft or 9 ft rods. ?

Can’t beat this for the money. A nice quality reel with some nice features that you often have to pay a lot more for.
