this is an OK product - but it's simply not suitable for some applications. I wanted to use it as a (smart)light switch - so one press would be Dim, two presses would be bright white, and hold press would be Off.When it is connected it works, most of the time. It's relatively simple to set up, but annoyingly it's yet another account i need to sign up for... £30 for a button, that I need to sign up for? why? There is no benefit as a user for this - it could be a simple "pair to the device" - it only works over bluetooth anyway so there's no benefit to having an "internet" account.The main drawback is it does not connect nearly quickly enough to a device which has gone out of and moved back into range.

You need to have the app open and your screen on at all times if you want to actually use the button for remote phone control. Otherwise it disconnects within 5 minutes. But queue your button presses, so obviously the app is picking them up. it just isn't holding up it's end of the bargain and doing the relevant action the button presses dictate.Open up the app again after frustratedly pressing the button several times to confirm the fact that yes, I have indeed wasted money on a nearly useless button. Boom. All my commands are followed to the letter heralded by a serious amount of booping.Cut the crapp. Fix yo app.

Whilst the button has a nice feel to it and is nice and compact I'm yet to find it's true worth. Perhaps if I had more SmartHome electronics it could control it would be more useful. So far it's only been linked to my iPad/Mobile Phone and the speed at which a button press results in an activity commencing via bluetooth is disappointing - it's far slower than I would expect.If the speed improves or I get more Smart Home technology installed and I change my mind I'll revise my review - at the moment though, I wouldn't buy one again.

Constantly loses reception with the phone, you are better off buying a smart plug and using IFTTT and basically just using your phone.

The flic ia a great product but the battery was dead when it arrived so i had to replace the battery

Can't connect device, can't create an account or even login via Facebook! Very disappointed!

Product sound, but battery dead on arrival - which is a little annoying.
