I love these torch units - as they're on the leash unit, I never forget to take them with me ... unless I forget the dog, too.Easy to operate, though if the leash is in extending mode, the torch beam can sometimes blocked by the tape. Not the brightest torch around, but good enough -especially if only needed for emergency use.It is perfectly possible to fit these torch units to other makes of extending leash - they attach by sticky velcro pads, so provided the leash unit has a sufficiently large, flat, clean surface there is no problem, and I have fitted them to a few different makes. What a shame Flexi don't sell spare velcro circles,

This is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits to the lead well, it looks like it's meant to be there, if there is one complaint it is slightly bulky but I do mean slightly. It's front facing white light is bright enough to be of help while walking the dog, nothing more, it doesn't need to be any brighter, it does the job. When positioned in a way of use with the front facing torch section the red light - while a great idea in theory - is pointing backwards to the handle and just lights up my hand. It's going to make you more visible than without but it doesn't really add anything to the product in my opinion but I've hands like shovels, maybe smaller hands wouldn't get in the way so much.Poop hunting is a doddle now though,

I would call some form of illumination on your dog an essential part of nighttime walking. With the added convenience of this light being securely attached by strong velcro to the flexi lead handle, it is perfect for finding that elusive poo on the grass in the park when it's too dark to see clearly. The light works very well, can take rechargeable batteries, and it emits good brightness. The red light is strong and has two settings, not unlike a bicycle rear light which can be on constant or have a pulsing flash (which saves the battery life). I have my flexi lead light over a year now, and it has not failed me yet.

This is a brilliant device, a self adhesive patch attaches to the flesh lead, this has Velcro which the light is secured. There is even a cover which can be placed to protect the Velcro when the light is removed. The front led light is nice and btight, the rear red light has a flashing or steady red function. I recommend this unit very highly, you can control your dog, see what you are doing and where you are going with one hand.

Great light as long as you take the time to attach it to your lead correctly. Reasonable good brightness of light , but unsure of reason for red light feature , supplied batteries were not great but once you replaced with a good branded , lasted well . Stays fitted well when attached , but you need fit the protective cover one it attached to the lead ( Velcro ) , great as a hands free touch , pricking up after your dog ect

This is just what any responsible dog owner needs on their evening (dark night) walks. It's ideal for locating where your dog has pooped, or for darker areas where you need to see where you're walking. Also you can have the light on flashing so others in cars etc can see a person is walking. Attach to your retractable lead and good to go. Can be easily removed when you don't want to use it.

It is a great addition to your pet walking gear!The led lights are really strong even when it rain. We used it all the time on evening walks.It saved me many times from cleaning my shoes... if you know what I mean!? The Velcro is sticky so it holds firmly and you can take it off and put it back when ever you like. And you can stick it to any brand that fits the size of the light.

Flexi led light for their retractable lead. Small yet quite bright. Peel off velcro from back of light and attach to lead wait an hour then you can fit the light . When not in use you get a round black cover to put on to keep velcro clean. Now I don't need to hold a lead and a separate torch when trying to clean up dog mess ..

Very good useful product easy to set up and use and of good value too. On night time walks with your pet the flashing red light identifies you to the lycra fascicts who insist on cycling usually on pavements without lights. The small torch also helps to find things dropped in dark.

Ideal for these dark nights when walking the dog. Hands free torch with a red light which can flash to warn traffic etc. Sticks to the side of the flexi lead ideal for seeing where your pooch has pooped to clean it up and ideal for walking along any dark paths etc

Expensive for what it is don’t use the red light but it is neat and easy to use. Saying that the torch light is not ultra bright but ok overall a great little bit of kit that just Velcro’s on and off the flexi lead. Guess it could be used on other makes too.

East to use and is really bright when walking in the early mornings and late evenings! Mine fell on the ground as I frequently lose grip of the lead when my dog is pulling and amazingly the light is still intact with just a few scratches from the fall!

This is so much easier than having a torch in one hand and the lead in the other. Doesn’t make a huge difference to the weight and easy to operate with one finger. I find the flashing red light an added bonus so that people find me more visible.

Brilliant at leaving your hands free while picking up after your dog in the dark. Also useful to see and pick your way across questionable bits of grass in the dark! Hasn't used up battery despite frequent use over last month or so,

Brilliant. Sticks on the side of the flexi lead, hold lead in one hand with torch poo. Ta da, can not only see poo hiding in leaves but clear it up with other hand. No third hand, mouth holding torch required.
