Excellent trousers. Reasonably lightweight yet not thin. Really robust material and breathable with waterproof bottom and knee panelling. Material is also slightly stretchy which makes for a lot more comfort over competitors who trade ruggedness for lack of stretch.Pockets positioned perfectly around any phage and harnesses I wear and very cleverly shifted forward around the thigh. A little touch which makes SUCH a big difference for ease of accessibility. There are plenty of pockets of varying sizes without any being too large that they’re cumbersome. Overall good quality trousers.That being said, I'm typically 32". I read to go up a size so i initially purchase a 50. I have a bit of belly fat, and they were still too big. I wore a belt with them, and they were fine, but i didn't want to where a belt as that was just an extra bit of kit.Purchased a 48 (i now own two) but purchased the medium. I am struggling with them having worn them now for a while and i think the sizing of this style is difficult to find comfort.I need a longer inside leg, so I think if i need to purchase another pair - very likely as it is just uncomfortable for long durations. Also, the jump down from the 50 to 48 means there isn't even enough room for jocks.Really,

5 Star product, but differing leg sizes sent. The trousers are nice, feel very good quality (as I've always found with Fjallraven) they fit well around the wast. I'm a 30" and ordered the EU 46, they are not too tight or too slack, and I didn't need a belt. Also they are a modern fit, being not super skinny or 80's baggy, a happy medium that allows plenty of movement while walking. I'm a 30" regular and I found those fitted me perfectly on the trousers labeled 46EU Regular US 30-31" MI did however order 5 pairs of Fjallraven trousers at the same time, all sold and supplied by Amazon EU themselves. Some just in different colours and some different styles.

Made with G1000 and reinforced in high wear areas, this garment offers the most robust and versatile platform for mountaineering, trekking and hiking. When treated with wax, water just beads off making it highly water resistant and yet surprisingly breathable and lofty. The trousers dry off extremely quickly if they do become wet and do so even while wearing them.These trousers are not padded and sizing up allows to wear a compression garment underneath for the colder months. Can be used in spring, summer and autumn but it might be wise to go with the ventilated version of this trouser for extremely warm climates. Slightly snug fit so it is recommended to size up if you fall in between sizes.

I have several pairs of these in different colors, all purchased from Amazon. They run a little small and I like wearing them baggy so a size 48 fits me comfortably. I'm a very active woman who shares a tiny apartment with two huge dogs, forced to walk the dogs in heavy rain weather several times a day during the Winter-Spring season. These pants are 1) unisex and 2) waterproof ! They also trap heat which can be a good or bad thing (for me it's good since I'm constantly feeling cold). I absolutely love these trousers and always check Amazon for new colors. I wear these year-round, to work, basically everywhere ! They are super cool looking and stylish too - people are constantly asking me about my Vidda Pro.

Great trousers l usually have regular leg and these are reg but slightly longer than I would like, can't take them up that easy because of the straps around the anklesThey are really good trousers, and as expected, comfortable although disappointed at the fact they are made in Vietnam and not Sweden they are well made, one small problem which must have slipped past QC is the hooks at the trouser bottom of legs that hook into boot laces are round the wrong way, so difficult to hook into laces as you have to go underneath the lace which is difficult when the lace is tight, the should hook over the top, I have checked this out and are definitely wrong,

This is the first item from Fjallraven I have purchased, im certain it will not be the last.Pros:-Clearly very durable.-The wax that is applied isnt obvious yet the water is repelled in light rain.-warm, great for autumn/winter/spring trecking.-Fantastic cut and fit.-Enough pockets to suffer a mini heart attack everytime you think youve lost your key, only to find it in a different pocket to last time.CONS:-Perhaps a bit too thermally efficient for summer use, but time will tell. Will maybe get some of the shorts in their product line.Im 5'10, 30.5" waste, 31" leg and the 46 (eu) fits perfectly.

A fantastic fit when following a European to US sizing chart, plus lots of research! (Important to do, when you are looking to drop this much cash on a pair of pants!)Feature rich; high quality materials. Very comfortable on the trail, and after four days and 40 miles, not a sign of wear, despite some bushwhacking, crawling under logs, kneeling to cut firewood, and moving rocks while rebuilding a firepit. Some water to clean them off and not a lick of wear.I'd love to get another pair, but I think I'll be trying to wear out this current pair for quite some time. Amazing!

I must say that I love these trousers, was abit sceptical at first because of the price but all doubt was removed once I had got them on.There are loads of pockets and the adjustment around the bottom of the legs is fantastic. They are good in all weather but if you so desire you can wax them to make them 100% waterproof at the expense of them being less breathable and then wash them to remove the wax if your not expecting heavy rain and want them to be cooler and more breathable.Best walking trousers I have ever bought. Fantastic!

Just bought my third pair of these pants. The best part about them is the forward pocket that allows you to store and recover your phone while sitting, which I have no idea: why their slow-witted competitors haven’t caught on to that, I don’t know. The Swedish flag on the side elicits a lot of comments here in the US, and it’s actually how I came to know of them myself. Excellent quality, but the price is 2-3 times their value IMO. They’re just lucky I insist on quality. Would definitely buy again.

Unbelievably good trousers. Really comfortable and the quality is evident. Disappointed I had to wash them and wear something else. Performed brilliantly on a long hilly hike with various weather conditions. Well thought out pockets. Looking forward to experimenting with how the Greenland wax can be used to alter the properties. Think these will be my go-to from now on.Bought these because they were £85 as aposed to the usual £140 but would buy again at full price.

Fjallraven is very hard to get the sizing correct but once you dial into your size you will be amazed at how comfortable they are. I am a hiker, camper, walk about and these are my go to trouser. They are water resistant out of the bag. There are some really good review videos out there that are helpful on getting the sizing right. My only complaint is the color choices for my size EU50 are limited. I would buy a couple of extra pair if I could get other colors.

Absolutely perfect, they fit like they were made for me, the lace hook and the adjustable elasticated hem on the legs is inspired thinking, I wore these trousers for an extended camping trip in the Lake District, the were excellent and the ability to increase the waterproof wax layer on the move was invaluable, I liked them so much I bought a second pair.

I've wanted these for some time now. They are pricey, but once you wear a pair you realize that they will be very durable and last a long time. I have 3 pair now. I wear a 34/34 in jeans and I ordered a 50 long in these. They are a tiny bit longer than I need, but I always prefer too long over too short.

Best woodsmans trousers on the market. I have several pairs. Just be weary what company you buy from. An all honesty, fjallraven has thee WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Along with no deals or specials ever. Go through amazon incase some were to happen to your package in the mail...
