This is a really quality saucepan which is ideal for singles or couples who mostly want to halve recipes like curries, etc (if you are cooking for a family of several people then the 28cm one would be a better size). It cooks very well and evenly, but a word of warning - because it is a really good heat conductor, you need to turn the temperatures down from what they recommend in most recipe books (in one of my first attempts with this saucepan, I burnt a prawn dish by following the instructions for heat used in the recipe). The base in particular is very heavy (the whole saucepan is quite heavy) and thus takes a minute to heat up, and then when you turn it down it takes a little longer (not much,
