I waited a few months before leaving a review so that I could really put these through their paces.As a family we were getting through pans every few years, they never lasted and I have to say we never treated them with kid gloves...they're there to do a job. So i decided to spend more in the hope that I'd never have to purchase another set (or at least for over a decade).We looked at the Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel (as we liked a cast iron enamel pan of theirs that we have) but upon Googling found too many reports about damage caused by buckling bases. We were later advised by a specialist that the Stainless Steel side of Le Creuset was a sideline,quite new and made in China and were advised to look at Fissler.I'd never heard of Fissler but was attracted by the German engineering...lets face it, they're one of the best!Any way over the last few months these pans have taken a real hammering. They are in use every day ,sometimes several times a day and I have to say that they still look like new.They are heavy (but even when the largest pan is full it's still not as heavy as a large empty cast iron pan!) but this just adds to the reasurrance that you're dealing with real quality.They heat up quickly and retain heat incredibly well. In fact I can turn the heat off a good 8-10 mins before cooking in any normal pan would've finished and everything will cook itself from the heat retained in the base.The handles stay cool enough to touch, although there have been one or two times when they've heated up if over hanging another hob burner slightly but this is mainly due to remembering to position them correctly.The lids are heavy and form and excellent seal. You're able to reduce heat to almost nothing and a constant even heat is retained and the amazing thing is...there's almost no steam at all...really I couldn't believe it...no steam...no rattling lids...nothing. In fact the seal is so tight it's sometimes hard to hear when they're coming to the boil, they are near silent in operation. There are times when we are cooking a quick meal that there's no need for the extractor fan!So these really are energy saving. We are using less energy, the heat and food juices/goodness are retained so things are cooked quicker, more evenly and I have to say, taste so much better. I never expected that, vegetables especially taste wonderful.Now for the biggy how well do they clean up (and we're talking messy man cook here) well this is one thing that really did blow me away...they are so easy to clean, honestly, virtually nothing sticks. I've had the stickiest meals known to man on the go and left the pan literally caked in dried on gumph and a little water, a gentle wipe with a soft sponge and voila! it's gleaming and I get extra browny points for doing such a good job!Another thing I never expected is that I really look forward to cooking now (my wife and I both) it's no longer a chore (especially the clean up afterward) but an absolute joy. Everything is cooked to perfection, everything is controlled, everything works as it should and everything is stress free! I never thought such a simple purchase would have such a profound change on my life but it has.So there is my overlong review but deservedly so, as I'm very very impressed with Fissler and you would be too.Built to lastReasurringly heavyQuality Stainless SteelCook incredibly wellCooks efficiently with reduced heatSaves energyNo steam!Virtually silent in useClean up perfectly & easilyFood tastes betterFoods retains all of it's goodness (gotta love those vitamins & minerals!)Possibly a life changing experience ;-)I have no hesitation in recommending this set, If you're looking for top quality then this is it and worth every penny (cheapest price on Amazon btw). great pans the best on the market, strong, easy to clean, dishwasher proof, ovenproof handles stay cool and they are great to look. I know they are pricey but should last a life time, unlike the Mauviel M`Cook range that after a few months of use and putting them in dishwasher the rim disintegrated. I suggest not to consider try or five ply cookware as the layers of material in them is very thin and delicate. I have bought 2 more to add to the set and so far I am very pleased, pity I spent hundreds of pounds on the Mauviel before I knew of the Fissler range.

We bought this to add to our previous collection and are very happy with the product. Although it is more expensive than other such cookware, you would only buy this once in your life.This quality of the material used and the workmanship is probably the best in the world. It's a delight to cook using the appliance and it is forgiving in that the solid heavy base dissipates the heat evenly around the food that's been cooked.Very happy with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone who takes pride in their cooking and in their food.

Fissler Profi are renowned pans and with good reason. They are well thought out and very robustly constructed for professional use. They should last a lifetime in domestic use. They hold the heat exceptionally well and the heavy lids really help retain moisture to allow pans to simmer on minimal heat with minimal water. This set provides an excellent range of pans. Highly recommended!

I took a long time deciding on this purchase. My reason for my choice is that I don't believe that any non stick pan will last a life time. The quality is even better than I expected. They look fantastic, I can't put them away and have kept them on display on my new range oven. I am sure they will last longer than me. Absolutely fantastic.

Bought this as we needed new pans and were planning on buying an induction hob as part of our new extension. All I can say is they are the best pans money can buy and work perfectly on the new NEFF induction hob. I hadn't realised we would be given free pans with the new hob, but they are no where near the quality of these. love them.

I have used this set for about 2 weeks now and I am so impressed I am considering buying a few more Fissler pieces. The pans are very well built, easy to clean, soups etc do not stick to the base, and they look- well, expensive and beautiful in my kitchen. Never knew pots could make me this happy...

Perfectly match ratio "value for money" - and make you take pleasure in cooking. All that mentioned by Fissler in official review for it's "Official Profi Collection" really exists.

I Heve original for 20 years still as good as new. I only bought new set for induction hob , and as with everything in the Fissler original range , they are fabulous.

These were purchased by me for my son and daughter in law. I have been using my set for a great many years. They are wonderful and I wouldn't use any other.
