Seemed like quite a bit for a pair of scissors - but definitely worth it!I took the risk because Fiskars have a good name and I hoped it would be maintained by this item.It was!They are of robust stainless construction. The metal is thicker than usual and very rigid. They are sharp of course, and close inspection of the blade edges and the joint suggest that this will be maintained. Comfortable too - which makes their use much more pleasant.I would buy another pair!

We had lost a pair of these about 10 years ago and tried various other brands since but none were quite sharp enough or were too bulky for general use in the kitchen. These are well made, comfortable to hold and tackle any job, from opening packaging to snipping flower stems with ease. They are sturdy and keep their sharpness. Their style and good looks make them an asset in any kitchen.

It certainly pays to buy quality and these scissors are no exception.Ultra sharp and precise and good value. Hopefully will retain a good edge but too early to comment.They are a handy addition to the potting shed and get used for a multitude of cutting tasks from paper and card to dead heading. Recommended.

Had my last pair over 30 years and my own fault for trying to cut through a thickish wire and bent the blades so they didn’t meet properly. I use them daily for cutting meat, trimming flower stems if I get a bouquet,opening cheese packets, the list goes on. Very sharp and sturdy I couldn’t do without mine

Our previous pair of these has served well ever since we had them. The hand grip is comfortably shaped. The blade shape makes them better than convential scissors for all sorts of small kitchen and garden tasks, the notch being particularly useful for cutting thinner stems.

I have used Fiscars scissors for very many years, but somehow lost my serrated ones, think they must be in our compost bin! I couldn't cook without them so ordered a replacement pair. They cut beautifully and are extremely comfortable to use.

Exceptional quality as always with Fiskars. Meant to order kitchen scissors, but these are just as good. You have to pay a bit more for a good make, but believe me, they are worth every penny. Arrived very quickly as well

I use these for kitchen and garden jobs. They are very strong and so far, rust free. I bought some a year ago and they are still in good condition in spite of being left out in the garden on numerous occasions.

Sharpest multi-purpose scissors I have ever used or bought. Incredible quality will last a lifetime will cut almost anything in house or garden, very nice size to slip into pocket when anywhere it may be used

Scissors are no different to most other things, you get what you pay for. They might seem expensive compared to some other scissors. But believe me, they will perform well and last longer than the others.

Have owned a pair of these for over 10 years now and they are still going strong after tons of use in the garden. Pleased to find they are still produced and decided to buy a second pair for kitchen use.

Lost pair I had for over 30 years so happy to have replacement...cuts through anything! Did find my other pair in garden as I also use them for gardening...still as sharp as the day I brought them.

great for the kitchen - I use several pairs for cooked/uncooked food, paper etce.g. making bacon sarnie:cut off rind, use as tongs to turn over bacon while it's cooking, cut sandwich in half.

Excellent product, easy and comfortable to use and suitable for both lady and gentleman gardeners. Good all-rounder for light to medium size stems and effortless cutting .

These are good quality, strong, easy to handle scissors.Hope to get many years service out of these,as I have done with my other types of Fiskars scissors.
