I am very happy with this, and it’s had the seal of approval from a few small visitors.The colours are good, muted and not strident and the buttons are easy to press to stimulate your child's senses. The central light-up disc is perfect, and the sound can be turned up or down depending on where you want to leave it. It's comforting that Fisher-Price toys haven't changed much since I was a kid. They still have the same sturdy build quality, durability, bright colours and educational merit. This is what made the company so popular in the first place. The Linkimal Hedgehog is another practical learning toy for babies and young toddlers. The lights and sounds aren't much different to those that Fisher-Price toys were making 30-40 years ago. The only real difference is that the Linkimal animals sense the presence of other Linkimal animals (as well as this hedgehog, there's an otter, a sloth, a llama and a moose) and each responds by making its unique greeting sounds.

Please see my VIDEO REVIEW.My 21 month old daughter loved this. I first saw this on TV advertised between the kids programmes. The advert is adorable. Normally I hate kids tv adverts but the new Fisher Price ones are great.I was really impressed with this on the whole. It is really well made. It seems very robust.It's highly interactive for any child between the ages of 9 months up to two years old. For the younger ones it had great texture with the bumpy 'spikes' of the hedgehog. The light show in the middle is very fun to watch. So it's great for sensory play. There are a few conventional baby type toy things on the top, like a twisty clicky dial, a clicky toggle switch and hoops.

Built to last!The buttons / twist and disks on the top of toy is great for dexterity and learning.Two sound volume choicesPull string and wheels so children can take it for a walk!The interaction with the other linkimals is great! They cheer each other and your child along when they get questions right! They break into song and giggle!

We used to call toys like this, baby activity toys. Now they’re called interactive toys. Either way, they are toys that can capture a baby’s or young toddler’s attention for more than a couple of minutes.Fisher-Price are usually pretty good at coming up with such toys and I think they have been this time too. They’ve combined a pull-along toy with interactivity that’s also educational. No mean feat.Amongst the many functions you find with this toy, is the teaching of numbers, colours and shapes. You can’t start this process too early if a child is to develop well. This is all packaged up with tunes that will play as the baby plays. Oh, and don’t forget the coloured lights!Overall,

We now have 3 linkimals and I’m still not sure how I feel about them. The fact that they talk and interact with each other is very cute and they are ‘sturdy’ but this isn’t necessarily great for a toddler is it?! They get dragged, they get bashed, the paint is chipping off and I do worry my little one will some how crack a floor tile or his own head at this rate. Maybe we shouldn’t keep them on a shelf, off the floor?! But I can’t stand toys all over the floor so maybe that’s my problem. They’re fun, they’re daft, I guess some could see them as ‘educational’ but my little lads not interested in that and I guess by the time he is he will have moved onto other toys.

My son loves this toy and I love this toy.This is a great toy. It makes lots of nice sounds that my son LOOOVES. It is also super cute. I love that its a hedgehog and has nice colours. It also has nice wheels so he can play with it like its a car. The string is nice too. He hasn't figured out yet that he can pull it; but he might want to do this at some point.I was quite happy that this toy seems to be easy on batteries; some of them I have to change all the time, but this one has been pretty good so far.Another thing I love about this toy is that it is super sturdy. My son is very rough on toys, he throws them and drools on them. This has emerged unscathed; which I am very pleased about.

This really is very cute and looks exactly like the picture. Its very brightly coloured and lots of buttons to press. The numbered buttons on the front all play a little tune and say something different each time you press them (well they each say 3 different things as far as i can tell) and the front lights up The dial on the top and the big red button don't do anything though and are just tactile and things for children to fiddle with. There is also an on off switch as well as volume control for the front buttons.My only slight gripe is there is nothing on the back of it, but all in all I'm giving it a 5 star as it is lovely and reasonably priced.

What a great pull-along toy! I particularly love how chunky it is and has various textures throughout, which is so important for proper sensory development., it has all the chunky buttons, key ring loop, spinney wheel, clickety switch, on-off switch that babies are so drawn to. Can't wait for my baby niece to visit so I can see her enjoy this brilliant toy.It's not cheap, but with Fisher Price, you know what you are getting, not only in terms of quality - it will still work for your kids' kids, but also you can be certain there are no harmful chemicals used and it's properly safe.

My six-month old grandaughter loves this. There's lots of interactive play. Buttons to push with lights and sounds. She doesn't understand it much yet but finds it very entertaining. So, incidentally, do her two older brothers who ended up fighting over the privilage of demonstrating it!It is well made with a wide variety of things to do, watch and listen to. It's also quite solid - which wasn't entirely apprieciated when one of the brothers threw it at the other! Thankfully, there was no real harm done either to the brother or to the toy - both are quite robust.

My only quibble would be that it doesn't look much like a hedgehog (my son thought it was supposed to be a sheep), but apart from that it has all the play value of an activity toy with buttons to press which will call out the colour, shape or number randomly, bits that spin or rattle and it can also be pulled along behind a toddling or crawling child. It is quite substantial and sturdy and large enough buttons for small fingers to press individually. I would say it is good value and has a lot of play/entertainment value for a young child.

Immediate love at the sight of this toy, it's cute and colourful. My daughter wanted to play with it straight away. The music is catchy and the voice is adorable, a good feature is that there's a lower volume setting. Played with it a few times and she's already pressing the number buttons. Downside is there's only buttons on the one side but it is nicely textured on the other side. I do feel there should be somewhere to tidy the string away for when it's not being pulled along. It's going to get dirty being on the floor all the time.

my daughter is 14 months, she just learnt to walk, the Fisher-price Linkimals became one of her top play toy option, she really like to pull it along when the music is on. the toy is well design with multi music songs and multi-activity for toddler. it has the fun activities within the toy to turn, spin, toggle, and bat, it does attract my little to play on it for a long while when she first have it. Overall, its a great toy for little one and its a brilliant toy either for your own kids or gift.

An amazing product, it sings, moves and even lights up, what more could you want from a toy. The music and sounds are very clear and very playful and inviting for my little one to want to hear more. the shapes are perfect for little hands as well as the string to pull on for the toy to play tunes. The toy is very attractive looking and visibly intriguing for little ones to want to hold and touch. The overall, look of the product is amazing it is something i would gift to other little ones too.
