I am a professional Firefighter and paramedic, 20+ years on the job. I abuse the crap out of my gear... This light is awesome. I use it in crap conditions. The slim profile makes a bit easier to place in a pocket or a pair of medic pants. I like the USB charger as it makes it easy to top off when your deployed and cant find fancy CR123 batteries. The light just keeps running, I am surprised how long it lasts on a single charge.I do find the selector switch in an odd position for changing light settings, sometimes I am searching for it, I wish it glowed when it was on, although it does glow after exposure to light, or lights red when low or when charging. Problem is the switch is in a pocket..so it goes not get charged from light. However, I debated returning it for another model with a rear control dual switch, but the form factor of this trumps those complaints. I find I always have a light on me now that not obtrusive.Oh... and yes, freaking bright.... seriously bright. I use stream lights, surefire regularly from my agency. This may not be 100% to the same durability level, but at WAY WAY WAY less money, a great warranty, this is what I spend my personal money on. Hell it was good enough to buy one for my Father-In-Law.

If you are considering this light, read thisUpdated: I have never broken (with average to rough EDC) a Fenix brand light. My Thrunite failed after 5 months of light EDC.Don't get me wrong, I love Fenix lights and consider them a great value compared to some much more expensive EDC/tac LED lights. However, in an 'all things being equal' comparison, you can save $15 with the Thunite TC12. First hand experience:TC12 comes with 3400mah battery compared to Fenix' 3200mah.TC12 tail stands (minor- yes, but all things being equal, might make the difference for you).TC12's USB cover MUCH stronger and secure. Shocked at the flimsy flap on the UC35 uses. The TC12 is slightly brighter, but noticeable in its longer throw. The TC12 comes in 2 colors-Cool White and Neutral White (warm/yellow) while the EC35 comes only in Cool(which I almost didn't mention because I don't like warm flashlights). The TC 12 is slightly shorter which helps when carrying in a holster when sitting. It would be hard to break either of these. Both super high quality.I've already mentioned the price difference.

Jesus, this is a good flashlight. I bought one for my son who is a firefighter. He loved it but I didn't want to give it up. I guess I'll have to buy myself one now. The charge seemed to last a long time, it's waterproof just as advertised, and I just love the micro-charger. It takes one 18650 battery, which have gone down in price now that all the vaperizers are using that battery. I would recommend the Nitecore i2v2014 charger to charge the battery(s), and get a couple extra efest 18650 batteries so you'll never be left without it.Also a perfect holster for this flashlight is the pelican 2327. Flashlight fits nicely and also a compartment for an extra battery.

Fantastic flashlight. Very intuitive to operate with a dedicated on/off tail button, and a side mounted mode button. I have been daily carrying this light since buying it. Several of my friends and coworkers have bought the light after using mine. The only problem so far is that the rubber dust cover on the USB port will tear off in about a week. As far as I can tell, the cover is not essential to keeping the light safe from the elements. Just something to be aware of. This is more like a 4.5 star review for that reason, but not worth docking a full star over. Fantastic light overall.

I use this light every day. It has taken a beating, it has been dropped many times from many different heights. I've used it on rainy days and I've dropped it many times in puddles . It is very durable and the battery still last a long time. I have had it over a year. It is very convenient being able to use one of my many phone chargers to charge this light. If it ever dies I will purchase another for sure

This flashlight is an excellent choice for every day carry. It's quite sturdy, rainproof, and simple to charge from any USB port, without sacrificing the versatility of a removable battery cell. It's also bright enough on the highest setting to light up an entire street or scorch the retinas of a would be assailant, all in a pocket-sized package with a strong belt clip attached.

I bought this flash light to use at work. I work on cars and need to see into some very hard to see places. I bought this light because of its power and because it charges through a USB connection. My co-workers all love it and cannot believe I only spent around eighty dollars for it. Their expensive Snap-On lights are not near as bright. I highly recommend this light to anyone.

I have carried this light for a year or two now. And I gotta say there are few days when it's not in my pocket. It doesn't charge super fast so if you need it full brightness tomorrow charge it today. it is very bright, bright enough to see in the daytime.

Good morning, I would like to see this flashlight at a more affordable price, that is, a promotion, because I have great interest in it, thank you.
