I have always liked Fenix products, they are a quarter the price of say surefire, and yet I have always had great luck with them. I can't say much about this headlamp yet, but I will update if needed. It is very bright, and the fact that it still takes AA batteries is a massive plus for me. I have some of their other lights that take the 18650s, but I can honestly say that although they are great lights, they just don't get as much use as my Maglite ML300LX for the only reason that the maglite takes batteries that I don't have to charge. Getting a little off topic here though. The strap over the top of the headlamp helps keep it up on the head when doing the spelunking that I bought this for,

I am in a hurry most of the time and messing with the multi function light switch is a hassle. The brightness is variable with the brightest mode being temporary when selected. The 900 lumens is only a momentary function so beware before buying. I was impressed overall but when someone says the unit is 900 lumens they should be up front about its only temporary!!!

Only used this a few times, a bit heavy because your carrying the batteries on your head, but the light it gives out is brilliant. Don't get this for night cycling as could not get my helmet on and the elastic was't long enough to put it on the helmet. A great light for anything else.

Really great head lamp. Not like the smaller light-weights but really puts the light where you want it with the amount you want.

Great light with adequate lumins and a nice wide spread for my endurance MTB riding.
