I've tried many brands of opaques over the years and these are superior. Properly mat and very flattering. Warm but not sweaty. They're an appealing, expensive looking colour; my first pair was in "Admiral" - the blues I have tried in other brands have tended to either be too muddy and close to black or conversely too blue and slightly cheap looking - these were spot on. Comfortable waist band and they didn't do that infuriating twisty seam around the bottom thing that some tights can do throughout a long day of wear. Yes, they're pricey, but they feel like they'll last - note that they're hand wash - I'm going to buy at least a couple more pairs right this minute.

The quality is just marvellous but the fit much too large. The colour Elder is such a soft colour. Will be ordering a size down.
