Think about all the misery a terrible writing instrument can bring - pain in your fingers, intermittent ink flow, that disapproving stare elitists give you when you sport the common man's Bic, a leaky pen which ruins your garments, a pen that weighs more than a goat and requires a separate work out at the gym, a refill so obscure you must cross mountains and deserts to find one - the list goes on. The point is you notice when a pen just isn't right. This Faber Castell is perfect, lightweight with a comfortable rubber grip and finished in a glossy British racing green. It's looks great anywhere. It has a clip and a retractable push system so you can't possibly lose the cap which you inventively would otherwise. It is a great pen with none of the drawbacks in the offerings from others which would be the source of much frustration. It is worth every penny.

Perfect! I have artificial joints in two fingers on my right hand due to arthritis. The chunky barrel and rubber grip is perfect. Added bonus - I can actually read my writing as it no longer looks like a demented spider crawling along paper! Supremely comfortable and a joy to use. Wish I had discoverd this pen sooner. I also bought the matching pencil. Five stars from me.

I have arthritis and holding a pen, even for short periods, can be very painful - with most pens. But this certainly isn't "most" pens. This is the most comfortable pen i have - yes, i've tried loads.OK, i haven't transcribed War & Peace yet, or even The Hungry Caterpillar, and clearly this will be an ongoing duration road-test, but i am currently happy - very happy.

I bought this to see if the refill would fit because it didn’t fit the one I have. This looks identical to my old one but the construction is different inside (see picture). The old pen is on the left and the new one is on the right. The only downside of the new construction is that the small metal ring has a tendency to fall off when you change the refill.

In this digital age it is a delight to hold a decent ball-point pen. It is chunkier than usual which is great for my arthritic hands. The pen writes easily and it a real pleasure to use. Possibly slightly dearer than it should be but that is a minor quibble. For those of you who still write in longhand and enjoy the process this is a big recommend.

I bought this for my partner who loves stationery & pens who said she wasn't sure why I'd got it for her initially but now thinks its a great pen. Easy to write with and comfortable in the hand with the triangular rubber finger grip- I've got the 0.7mm mechanical pencil version as well which is just as good.

My handwriting is appalling but it's legible with this pen, and I was struggling getting reasonably priced refills for my original Grip Plus, so I bought it as new again - mainly because it was cheaper to do that than purchase some of the refill packs available! Thank you.

I am unable to grip a pen conventionally so these pens are ideal for me. The downside is that they obviously suit everybody else brilliantly too so they often get “borrowed” and rarely get returned! Perhaps a lurid pink version would be good please!

I have the matching pencil to this pen and they are both my go to writing implements, I find the size and shape suits me very well. I often find using "normal" diameter pens/pencils to cause me pain, I do not get that with the Grip Pluses

It's just a pen at the end of the day but it does write very smoothly. I prefer a fat rubber grip and this feels perfect. I was expecting it to be heavier but over all I am pleased with this purchase.

A very nice pen It was bought for a friend . I would have liked it to have been in a little pouch or something so it was better presented to her but apart from that she was pleased with it .

Great pen. easy to hold nice chunky feel (mildly arthiritic and find this pen comfortable to write with). Takes standard refills which are widely available. A good pen for the price

Have a few Faber pens and pencils. Bought this as a pocket pen, and, true to my experience with the other Faber writing materials, is worth spending the little extra.

I have a painful wrist which has affected myhandwriting skills. The ergonometric design of this penhas allowed me to regain almost copper plate accuracy!

Loved it, nice and light and easy to write with.Quality as you'd expect from Faber-Castell. Great match for the pencil if you've bought one.
