I purchased this to use with my ExPed SynthMat and it works as advertised. It fills the mats much more quickly that it would through the hand pump, and yes, it could double as a waterproof stuff sack. However, there are a couple things I don't like about it. First, it is made of extremely thin material. No doubt this was to shave ounces while backpacking, but I'm afraid that if the thing happened upon a stick or sharp rock, or was stuffed without much car into a pack, it would tear. Of course, it could be repaired using a patch kit- all ExPed mats come with one- but I wouldn't want to trust a descent rest of the integrity of quick, jerry-rigged solution.

Does what it says on the tin (actually a tough vinyl case that can be recycled as a Map Case.) Tried it out before camping at the weekend and blew my Exped Synmat UL 7 M up in about two bags full of air. Much easier than using the Exped Mini Pump and not much more expensive.When transporting to and from a campsite I also use it to keep my down bag dry, simply drop the sleeping bag complete in it's compression bag inside this then seal it up, squeeze the air out and the your sleeping bag has some extra protection from damp/getting wet.

Works surprisingly well after a couple of uses to make myself use it the best way. It keeps me from putting my moisture-laden breath into my insulated pad, and it doubles as a dry sack to carry my quilt and dry clothing so it's not adding weight or bulk to my pack. One star off for value simply because I believe it's over-priced for what it is (then again, I paid the price, so...)

Worked great with my Exped Downmat 9, which has a built-in hand pump. This Bag can inflate the mat in 2 pumps, then I use the hand pump 5 or 6 times just to top off the mat. The bag connects to the exhaust valve, but the rubber disc in the exhaust valve needs to be pulled out (easy to do with your fingers. very compact when not in use. I am very happy with the bag.

Quite handyIt fills your sleeping mat quickly AND can be used to store stuff that needs to stay dry. I kept my camera in it during a rain and was really glad that I had this pumpbag because I forgot to bring my designated camera dry bag. It kept my camera dry. I think that I will now use this as my dry bag and leave the camera dry bag at home next time

Filled the Exped 7.5 air bed with only one and a half 'scoops'. Very quick and easy. It's a pity that the adaptor is so pricey though. I have an older style mat which takes much longer to fill with the little hand pump but it's a different size hole so I can't use the Schnozzel bag.

So light weight and works really well. much bigger than I expected but really that's just me not reading the details fully. Just two fills and it pumps up the Synmat faster than I expected. The bonus is that its also a great dry bag, pillow and more.Love it.

I purchased the medium size and can confirm it works with the Trekology Aluft UL80 Sleeping pad. It only takes 3 or 4 bags of air to fill that pad too. And this from the medium size pump sackThe Exped Schnozzel is a well made and good quality product.

Great piece of kit not only blows up my exped ul7 in no time, with very little effort but also compresses my RAB down sleeping bag and therm a rest pillow to a very small size. Well made and ultra light

Used to pump up my Nemo Sleeping Pad. As it has a warm filling, you should not blow into it as this will add moisture. This pump bag with the Adapter valve sold separately does the trick in short time.

very well made and does the job better than blowing up using my mouth. use mine to store sleeping mat and pillow when out cycle camping as these don weigh anything recommend to any one

Great product. when not in use filling the mattress I use as a dry bag. for sleeping bag while backpacking, then for clothing in the tent at night. Very light and small.

Really easy to use even in a confined space, ie. inside my tent with midges outside! 2-3 bags of air pumps up my exped synmat.Doubles up as a waterproff stuff sack.

The Schynozzel works really well to inflate my Exped air mattress. It takes only about 4 schnozzel bag fills to have it ready to sleep on. Love how compact it is.
