It's a great game! We have quite a lot of board games between our group of friends, but this one is always requested. It stands out as popular. We've had it for over a year and we still use it semi-regularly.It's a little complicated for people who haven't played many board games, but simple once you've got the hang of it.It's fun to imagine what sort of creature you've created and make up narratives to go along with the gameplay.It's expensive, but I'm glad I took a chance on it! For me it was definitely worth the money. It's very well made (the wooden dinosaur and the food bags stand out as nice compared to what they might have been) and very fun.

I want to review the seller, CJ-Max separately from North Star's Evolution game.I contacted CJ-Max over Christmas becuase the box arrived without a rule book. And if there is anything essential in the Evolution box it is that rulebook. Anyway, Christian contacted me straight away, and contacted North Star on my behalf. North Star was a bot slow to respond, probably because of the holidays, then put the rulebook in the post to arrive today. I am 5-star impressed by CJ-Max and 4-star impressed by North Star.The game is fantastic. You can see reviews on YouTube so I won't do that. I will just say that it looks great, it plays great and I love it.

Having played this game a few times over, I can definitely say that it ranks in my favourites on my shelf. The rules are simple to pick up, and the card and player interactions lend a fantastic level of complexity that keeps the game fresh and interesting. Definitely a bonus that the whole thing can be played through in around an hour, meaning that you can get through a couple of games in an evening, which will be different every time.

One of my favourite games. Really good fun with 3 or 4 people, but not so good with 2 (not played it with more than 4 but I think it would still work well). There are some great card combos and strategy without the rules being over-complicated.

Great game, everyone loves it. There's two biologists in the house, they specially LOVE LOVE LOVE it, but even us non-specialists also enjoy playing it too. I recommend it to anyone, you'll even learn things you didn't mean to learn!

The set is really nicely made, it plays well from 2-6 players and is very dynamic (how you play really depends on what others are doing, so plenty of scope with years of enjoyment)Great fun

Be careful, this game is addictive! The rules may seem complicated at first, but once you lay your hands on it, they become much simpler.

This is an excellent game and the first one in my collection that actually brings my children to the table.
