If you have a dog with a sensitive tummy, then this could be the food that your pet needs to rectify the problem. It is certainly working for our petite Border Collie, "Maisy". She is a rescue dog that we have had since September 2012, and from the start she had to visit the vet regularly for various digestive problems. Even now it can still flair up, so we are trying this food and at the moment, all is well. This brilliant dry, crunchy food is specifically tailored for Adult dogs of 1 year old and over and is suitable for all breeds.Eukanuba is a complete food so you will not need to add anything. Chicken, Turkey and Rice are the main ingredients, all of which are gentle on the stomach and easy to digest. In addition Beet Pulp, Prebiotics and other essential nutrients and minerals are mixed in and balanced. Being a crunchy food it is also good for your dog's teeth. Not only will this food helps with sensitive digestion problems, but also helps to build strong, natural defences, a healthy skin and coat, lean muscles, strong bones and aids dental health. On the back of the food sack, there are clear instructions of what quantities of food to feed your dog on a daily basis. This is calculated using the weight of your pet. Obviously the recommended quantity can be split into more than 1 meal. 3 meals are good, spaced out through the day. That way there is no overload and reduces the risk of bloat. In addition playing, walking and eating are what dogs look forward to, so if the food is divided up into 3 meals there is more pleasure for your best friend. This dried kibble is great for using in activity toys, thus slowing down the intake of the food and the tendency of some dogs to wolf it down. Dispensing food in an activity toys also helps to get the dog to use its brain and keep your pet occupied for longer.I have included some photos so you can see the size of the kibble pieces. As you can see, this food looks quite tasty. Certainly "Maisy" took to it straight away and she can be a little picky at times. We have only had her since September 2012 at which time it was hard to find food that she would enjoy. No problem with this Eukanuba though!Don't be put off buying a sack of the food, just because it is large. It is the most economical way to buy it and as the sack is a very strong plastic with a zip top and stands up without flopping over, it is ok for storing.Interestingly, the Royal Army Veterinary Corps awarded the contract to Eukanuba to supply the dog food for the various categories of Army Working Dogs.Update 10/8/13I am pleased to confirm that this Sensitive Digestion food really works. "Maisy" is now producing much firmer, dryer and more compact stools with no yellowness. She has not had any vomiting sessions either. Great dog food.Update 16/9/13Further update - yes this food really does work. "Maisy" has had no tummy problems whatsoever since being on this food and her stools are even better than the last update. Excellent food for dogs with sensitive digestion.

Our dog is very fussy. When I say that, I obviously mean his digestive system is very fussy. Being a dog, he will eat absolutely anything (apart from salad, but I'm with him on that). Without trying to make you feel sick, when some dog food comes back out, it's not the easiest to clean up.So, he;s been on this food for a week or so now, and so far so good. He seems to enjoy it, doesn't moan he's hungry (well, no more than any normal dog would), and there's been no upset stomachs (from the dog or the clean-up crew).Based on eating and digestion alone, I'd recommend this, and would buy it again. So it comes down to the price. Doing a quick comparison, it seems this one is a bit more expensive than other brands, but then for a sensitive version I think you would need to pay more. It's entirely possible that I would get this again - but I would check around first in case there are other brands doing the same for less.

My 5 year old pug was very over weight when we rehomed her a month ago. She was on a low quality food and suffering with terrible wind and bad breath. It took a good few weeks to get her onto this. I was having to mix the dry food with some of her wet tinned food to get her used to it. I tried soaking the biscuit at first with tap water and she refused it. A month on though we’ve now found a trick that gets her scoffing down her bowl every morning and evening, I soak the biscuits with a little hot kettle water and give when luke warm. She LOVES it. Her wind has completely gone which is great!!! We've been following the feeding guidelines (strictly) as well as fitting in plenty of exercise and she is losing weight nicely. Her coat is looking lovely too. Really pleased with this food. The price for the amount you get is amazing also. Will be regularly buying again.

My daddy switched me to this new Eukanuba food - I've heard they have a good reputation - as an experiment, he said, to see if it really was good for my tum. Well, I wasn't too happy about being used for an experiment - I'm against animals being abused like that - and I was made more unsure because the food bag didn't say what flavour my meal was to be, but there was nothing else to eat so I gave it a go.I have to say it was very tasty, even if I was not sure of what (daddy says there is a lot of rice in it, so it's not gluten free). I yummed it all up very quickly which made my daddy pleased. He was even more impressed when my toilet motions were good, despite the switch in food - this new meal was good for my tummy too!I'm sure your doggie would like it if you wanted to try it out!Bye for now,Enzo (English Pointer dog)

Our dog loves Eukanuba food. Then again, she is a Labrador and therefore renowned to eat and enjoy almost anything which is edible! But I feel happy feeding her Eukanuba because it is a breeder and vet recommended brand. She has tried a few varieties in the Eukanuba range now and this one is excellent, on par with the rest of the Eukanuba varieties. She wolfs it down at every mealtime! While she has never had any real problems with her digestive system, feeding her this variety of Eukanuba ensures that her digestion remains normal, especially as she is now a senior dog. Eukanuba is excellent quality dog food with no added preservatives or artificial colours. Although it is quite pricey,a 12.5 kg sack lasts for about six weeks so it is good value. It is helpful that the bag is resealable as it keeps the food fresh.

I wouldn't say my beagle has a sensitive gut, but when Vine Voice offered to send me this to try I couldn't resist! All I can say is that she positively wolfed it down...showing immediately that she preferred it to her normal food. As I can rely on the food to clean her teeth I will no longer have to pay out a fortune on extra dental cleaners, so if you already do this for your dog you can rest assured that this food will actually save you money. I don't know about all the other health claims but I can say that after only two weeks her coat is looking a lot more shiny. One more thing, the food was delivered extremely quickly so ordering it online seems like a very good idea as this avoids theneed for carting a very heavy package home from the pet shop.

We have been feeding our 4 year old Jack Russell/Staffie cross, Bakers complete dry dog food for the past year and he loves it! He doesn't have a sensitive stomach but he does leave about 6 landmines on the lawn a day - all well formed a decent sized I might add. We thought we would give the Eukanuba a go to see if it made a difference. Firstly he seems to love it even more! Filled his bowl with half Bakers and half Eukanuba (on the side) and he polished off the Eukanuba first! It may be the novelty of the taste but we have been mixing it up with different flavours of Bakers so I'm not sure. Four days in and I'm pleased to say his "presents" have decreased to 3 a day. They are much darker but otherwise the same, just fewer in quantity. Result!

As anyone who owns a dog with a sensitive stomach knows, adding rice to the diet is a recommended helpful tip. This rice - added dry food cuts out the hassle of having to prepare and cook rice daily for your dog. Rice can't be safely stored once cooked, so this has to be done each day. It's a mix for adult dogs, so this isn't suitable for puppies whose tummies are getting used to solids. Visually it doesn't look any different to any quality dry dog food. The mix is also boosted with probiotics and beet pulp. There's a lot of misinformation on the internet about beet pulp, which is a safe source of dietary fibre. The family dog (a female Springer) enjoyed it and left a clean bowl, her tummy appears to have tolerated it very well.

Our two year old male king charles Spaniel dog loves this food. It's nice in smallish round size shapes. He has always preferred smaller size food so this is near ideal in size. He enjoys eating this food and he eats all that is given to him. The dog's coat is vibrant in colour and he appears nice and healthy. The direct results this food has exhibited in our dog, is energy levels are good, healthy coat, no smelly breath, no toilet issues and he likes it. Its expensive but is recomended. Our dog weighs around 6.5 kilos, and reckon I will get around 3-4 months eating ourt of this size bag. I do control the portions that are given to this dog otherwise he would scoff down the whole lot in one session.Recomended

The family spaniel is getting on a bit and sometimes gets a dicky tummy, so this seemed like a good plan! We've been trying him on other Eukanuba at the same time, so it will take some time to see exactly how well this works for him, but so far so good - no loose motions since he started on it, and he really seems to like the food. It's good value for the amount of food you get, and there are clear instructions on the sack to tell you how much to feed which is really useful, as Alfie would happily munch through the entire sack, given chance! Sack stands up well in the shed where it is currently stored, and it closes over too so the food stays fresh. Impressed so far!

Our Labrador/Border Collie cross Monty always seemed to be very fussy about food and frequently had a bad stomach while we tried out several different food alternatives. Eventually we ended up giving him a very bland chicken and rice combination but I was conscious that he may not be getting all the nutrients he needed as he grew up, so I was very pleased that we found Eukanuba Sensitive Digestion food. Since then he has had this every day with no stomach problems at all, which has also made our lives a lot less stressful! I would say that the 12.5 kg bag is huge so make sure you have plenty of space to store it as it won't fit in your kitchen cupboard.

First of all, let me say that I have two Jack Russell terriers that are that non discerning they would eat the packaging that this stuff came in given half a chance! That being said one of them has sensitive skin and we have had him to the vets with it, mainly on his belly. The vet has given us cream that has limited success, I gave him this stuff and he wolfed it down, it took about a week before we saw his skin getting better and it seems to be well cleared up by now. This stuff isn't as expensive as you think, the smaller portion sizes make it quite cost effective. Our dogs are both happy with the food and so am I, what more is there to say.

Tried this for my fourteen year old cocker spaniel Barney and Iabsolutely cannot believe the difference it has made to him. Whilsthe is on Eukanuba we had not tried this one.The main difference with this is Barney has struggled for a whilegoing to the toilet - he took absolutely ages and always struggledto pass his stools. The change was almost instantaneous - I reallywas amazed - his stools are normal and he goes immediately.Whilst he loves Eukanuba anyway - this is definetely the one forBarney I am so pleased we tried it and highly recommend if yourdog has digestive problems, I only wish I could give it 10 stars.

Where do i start. Our baby girl is with us for almost a year now. Ever since we got her she had constantly diareah. Multiple vet visits,no worms,no disease, nothing. We tried all the big brands like Orijen,Acana,Aatu, canagan, burns etc. We introduced everything slowly every time. All her poos were watery and very smelly. After reading all the comments here i decided to give it a try. Within 3 days, almost like magic, her runny watery poos transformed into a nice solid poos without smells. I cant praise this food enough. We payed a fortune on these high tech foods and no results. Try it like we did, might work for you aswell

When we first got our dog as a six month old puppy,we introduced him to Wag rice based food for sensitive digestion as he couldn't keep food down. This problem appears to have disappeared over time and he now generally eats normal food. However, occasionally we give him a sensitive feed like this to balance his digestion. It's expensive though and I don't think I could afford to feed him Eukanubu regularly. Does he like it? Hard to say. He'll wolf anything down so he's not exactly discriminating like most dogs I guess. I'm presuming the makers put extra minerals and vitamins in hence the price.
