This is the most practical bike rack I have owned. It installs in seconds (much quicker and simpler than the strap-on or roof-mounted types), and is very solidly built. When you open it out there is a clamp with two cups which fit over the ball of the towbar, and you simply then press a bar to tighten it. To release at the end of the journey you just pull a cord. (There is a locking mechanism to make sure it can't open on the road). When not in use it folds up neatly to store in the boot. It supports 2 bikes firmly, with or without crossbars. Of course you need a towbar, and most likely a spare number plate (depending on your car).

Robust and can be fitted and removed in a minute. For my wife's bike (minus crossbar) a little awkward but by angling the rubber supports could manage to fit her bike. If your boot is full the rack can be locked on the towbar by slipping a padlock in the space between the hinge and the string pull end. Even if the locking bolt is removed and the padlock slipped to the hinge end it still stops the rack being opened suffiently to allow it to be removed from the towbar

A great product which transports 2 bikes comfortably. It attaches to the tow bar and then clips on either side of the back hatch. My husband managed to fit this on the car in 5 minutes in the middle of the night for the first time. It was secure, simple and didn't scratch the paintwork. It didn't affect the profile of the car for wind resistance. Really useful, compact and well designed!

Very effective bike rack, fits easily on the toe ball in less than five minutes. Fits easily in the boot when not in use. Cost effective, easy to assemble, sturdy and well designed, great value for money. Releases you to cycle with your partner in far more far flung destinations. (and don't forget a spare number plate!!!.........happy cycling!

This item arrived quickly after order.It is easy to set up, did it in 10 mins.Instructions easy to understand except how precisely to fix the bikes.The product is robust and fit for purpose.It does mean your bikes cover your number plate and lights so may need backboard.Easy top remove and compact for storage.9/10 overall.

Great bike rack, easy and quick to mount on the tow bar, great for adult framed bikes, a bit of jiggling about for kids frames but they still go on. when taking off the tow bar hold and pull the rope at the end or you will get a small kick back on your fingers, you'll see when you take it off for the first time.Great buy.

This product is robust, well-designed and works well, once you have got the 'knack' of using it. You can adjust it so that small bikes can be fitted, simply by reversing the way the carry-bars fit on.One tip: make sure the strap is not in the way when you are fitting the carrier on, or taking it off, the towball.

Just received this rack and I am extremely impressed. Solid and easy to use, had it on the car within 5 minutes.The bike was very secure in transit.Plus it folds away and I am storing it in my boot when not in use.Top piece of kit!

fast delivery, solid construction and easy to follow instructions. Only down side is that it does not fit my car - came up under 4X4 search and photo suggests enough clearance for spare tire but alas twas not to be....

Good product, fitting my Renault Scenic nicely, with no real difficulty, unlike a previous product that should have been a standard fit (just not for Scenics). Quality bike rack, for a decent price.

solid easy to use and secure carrier, takes seconds to errect and take down and holds the bikes securly to the carrier, extremly well thought out bit of kit, obviously designed by a cyclist

This is easy to instal, sturdy and reliable and a doddle to stow/ unstow the bikes. Provided you follow the directions its also easy to remove and store.
