For years I'd used Yeti dual compound grips. They worked but after long singletrack rides my hands and forearms would ache. They also tended to move around when soaked in sweat or water from the trail. After reading the reviews over MTBR I decided to try ESI Racer's Edge grips to help with my hand/arm fatigue. They cut my hand/arm fatigue at least in half with the added bonus of being about 40 grams lighter than former Yeti dual compounds. They also don't move at all once you get them on. If you're looking for a little, cheap improvement that might make a big difference try ESI Racer's Edge grips.

So I work at a bike shop and I've been using ESI grips for a year and a half on all of my bikes for several reasons. It helps dampen vibrations when mountain biking. The different sizes and shapes offered help with both grip and they keep my hand from going numb. I do also wear In bike gloves but their just as grippy when not wearing gloves even with sweaty hands. I suggest ESI grips to anyone that seffers from hand numbness. Install with plenty of isopropyl alcohol. They will rip and tear so just be careful and they will last a long time.

I had the chunky ones previously and I feel those kind of big. When doing a long downhill my hands started to hurt because I couldn't grab de grips tightly. When using the race ones, with shorter diameter you can really hold on tight to the handlebar, it feels much much better for me. Eventhough these are thiner, they don't loose the chunky feeling since they have one side thicker than the rest so you have to notice this when installing them, the thicker part goes for your hand.I really recommend this grips for long MTB trips

These are great for anything (not just bicycle handlebars) where you need a firm, durable but comfortable grip on a bar, pipe, tube or rod 1/2 inch to an inch or so in diameter. Very grippy but not sticky texture, doesn't crumble like foam, excellent temperature and chemical resistance, and the ones I got have a pleasant scent - very subtle, like orange oil. It could have been an ester-like reaction with the WD-40 I used as lube to get it to slide over an elbow pipe joint, but very nice, fragrant scent nonetheless.

Great grips - comfortable and light, however, definitely more difficult to get onto the bars compared to the chunky or extra chunky versions. If you're a weight weenie or prefer slim grips, these are perfect. If you don't care about 15 grams and not too partial on grip diameter, I would go with the regular chunky for easier installation. If you like fatter grips, I would definitely go extra chunky, and the easiest to install.

If you follow directions these are easy to install. Get the install instructions from their website video or YouTube. You would think they would include written directions with the product? Use plenty of alcohol. The color ones show dirt easily. I understand they are easy to clean with alcohol. I’ve yet to try and remove and reinstall them. The last pair I had I just cut off with a razor knife. The black does not show dirt.

Everyone else has described these well in other reviews. My 2 cents...They're light and sticky. Good. There are a bit of a challenge to install but with an air compressor, no problem. Still good. If you crash, they will erode/tear somewhat. Slight demerit. All things considered, it will be my forever grip on my Specialized Epic. Color choices don't hurt either. Best grip I've used so far and I've tried a bunch of them.

I was looking for some bike grips that I could easily cut down to fit next to my twist shifters. These fit the bill and I was able to easily cut them and slide them on my mountain bike. The are soft and easy to grab onto. They are however, pretty thin. I would have liked them a little more bulky for a better fit on my hands. If you have small hands, they would probably fit great.

Have hit Sanna handle a number of seasons now and they are really comfortable handles that takes up the shocks really good. They fit many different bikes also because they are available in several colors. They are also easy to get on with glass cleaner! :) When the handles so they sit firmly really good! A - is that they wear a little faster than other handles.

Great feeling. Very thin and yet fine vibrations are well filtered out. Unfortunately, it can happen that they slide slightly during heavy soaking. Also, they are not particularly robust. In the case of falls in bends, where the handlebars crash into the ground, it can be that they break open a few centimeters wide. For DH operation so not fully recommendable.

I quite like these. I bought these grips to cut them down to fit against my grip shifts on a Specialized Crossroads, as the original grips were no longer available for purchase. The process of cutting and fitting was painless and simple. I've been using these grips for a couple of months now and like the feel when riding. No negatives so far. Recommended.

Put them on a flat bar road bike. Definitely improves comfort/wrist pain on longer rides. They were plenty easy to install. A little rubbing alcohol and they went on way easier than old school rubber grips. Fairly slim grip, if you want something closer to a SRAM racing grip I'd say go for the ESI chunky as they're a bit thicker.

I am very satisfied with the handles - are with and without gloves, dry or wet and under all previous driving conditions very comfortable to hold. Moreover, they are very light, relatively cheap and offer a wide color selection. As the only weak point so far, I found a high defect sensitivity in a fall with ground contact.

First off, these grips are so comfortable that I am never going back to standard lock on grips. The only concern I had when purchasing these grips was installing them. Turns out with the aid of rubbing alcohol they are quite easy to install. Took me under 10 minutes to install bothe grips. I highly recommend.
