Wouldn't be without Esha products for my 6 nano aquariums (75 litre down to a 12 litre snail/shrimp one). Other products have proven too harsh for some of my fish (espei rasbora, norman's lampeye, rosy loach, rummynose tetra etc) or not as effective in hard water - yes water parameters can make a difference to fish medication effectiveness with Esha seeming much better for use in hard water while being gentle enough for small fish.Another plus it's that many of the product range can be used in conjunction (read the instructions and look online at the extended product information) with other Esha products which has made treating fish in quarantine much easier especially when I'm not certain what the problem is and am unwilling to risk losing fish waiting for symptoms to worsen). And yes, quarantine, whether you got your fish from a shop, online or from another fish keeper. Whether it's one fish or ten Even though setting up a tank can be a pain, it's not as much of a pain as losing a whole tank of fish/shrimp.Most of the range that I use (gdex, 2000, Exit, Optima) can be safely used with shrimp and smalls, again, check the enclosed leaflet and check online (updated info may not have made it to the box you bought). Will it always work? No. Has it worked for me? More times than it hasn't. Accurate diagnosis is a real problem for hobbyists. No access to a lab, microscope and the myriad other resources I would give my eyeteeth for so I rely on my own experience (minimal) and on that of other fish keepers. And that microscope it's on my wish list, seriously! So would I recommend Esha 2000? Based on my experience. If you are keeping nano fish in hard water with snails and neocaridina shrimp. Definitely.

I bought this on the recommendation of a fishkeeping forum as it looked like a couple of my harlequin rasboras had a nasty bacterial disease called columnaris, and I was told that although it is difficult to treat, eSHa 2000 can sometimes be effective. After a few deaths, no more fish showed any symptoms so it looks like it wasn't columnaris after all. I treated the tank with this stuff anyway just to be safe. I can't really comment on how effective it was as it was just a precautionary measure. Couple of things to mention - firstly, you need to count a lot of drops. It's a 3 day course of treatment, 25 drops on the first day, 12 drops on days 2 and 3. This is based on a 100 litre tank.Mine is 240 litres, so I found myself having to count 60 drops on the first day! Sencondly, it temporarily turns your tank water bright green. This isn't really a major problem as it clears after a couple of hours, but it's quite a surprise if you're not expecting it!EDIT: I have now "used it in anger", so to speak, and I'm impressed! My dwarf gourami has a wound which seems a little reluctant to heal. I had previously tried using Melafix with only limited success. The other day I noticed that the wound was beginning to grow fungus, so I tried a dose of eSHa 2000. Within 12 hours of the first dose, the fungus had completely disappeared! Having continued treatment for the full 3 days, I think the wound is finally beginning to heal. I will continue treatment for a couple more days (the instructions say it is safe to do so if necessary), and see what happens.

I have to admit that I wasn't sure about using this when I ordered it. I keep puffer fish and so I have to be careful what products I use with them, especially any product that has copper as an ingredient. I'd lost 2 freshwater puffer fish to a fungal infection and I tried using Melafix and Pimafix to no avail. So when my other puffer developed a fungal infection I looked for something different to what I had been using. A friend recommended eSHa 2000 and I reluctantly bought it thinking if I do nothing, the puffer will die. And I figured if this killed my puffer, then that was a chance I was going to have to take.I used the product as stated in the directions and the fungus did go away and my puffer did not die and I'm happy to say that the skin is growing back over the spot where the fungus was. I wish I'd discovered this product a long time ago to save my other two puffers that died. Really good product, definitely something I'll always have on hand now.

Well it works as the treament saved three very poorly Celestial Pearl Danio's who were showing obvious signs of Dropsy when delivered from a mail order liivestock store (Other 5 within same bag did not look great either). Whole lot went straight into a 10 litre hospital tank, thought i'd try eSHa 2000s treatment as per instructions with slight 25% overdose done due to very poor conditon of fish; well 2 weeks later much to my surprise they had recovered and were eating well.Obviously it's pot luck with many treatments, but over my many years of fish keeping i have found eSHa products do tend have a greater success rate than many similar priced treatments.Needless to say the fish got treated for parasites aswell as i wasnt taking any chances (Used other products for that).

Amazing product. Easy and effective treatment for many fish sickness. My lovely betta had an ugly big ulcer, was so worried that we might have to say goodbye for him forever but my fish store recommended ESHa 2000 the fishie was total cute allowing me to put one drop on the ulcer directly the rest in the water. It's magically worked, the healing was visible. By the second day it's almost completely healed up. Would recommend this product to any fish keeper to have in their first air box. Ordered one online to be sure I always have some if needed. Cures quite a lot of issues. Can only recommend!Of and must mention ornamental snail and shrimp safe!

Purchased for a corydora who developed a cotton wool like growth on base of its tail, despite ammonia, nitrites and nitrates being at an ideal level and optimum water changes the cory still had this growth, I use this product as its safe for snails and shrimps and sensitive fish, works like a dream, and I usually treat the whole tank. After two days treatment the growth was disappearing, after three days it was gone...Only use this product before a water change or a few days after a water change as theres an ingredient in Esha that binds with water conditioners that make it inactive.

I had to move my fish to a much larger aquarium and could not get the water quite right in the time I had, Hence the water was to harsh and some of the youngest fish developed mild Fin rot, I treated the aquarium as per directions and in a week or so their fins began to regrow where the rot was, after about five weeks there is no sign of any Fin rot on any of the fish. I your fish have contracted Fin rot this will help it to heal ( but you must get the water right as well for it to be efective)

Since I brought eSHa's plant food and nutrients, I simply fell in love with their products. So recently, I added some fish into my aquarium however, they had finrot. My aquariums fine however, where I got them from was not. No issue, I thought I'd buy from one of my favorite aquatic related companies! All of eSHa's products are great and this is no exception. However, as I keep the box, it wasn't packaged too good but anyways, a few dents in the cardboard box are fine...

Use this when I suspect an infection in the aquarium , it gets the job done and not to taxing on the fish I full dose as per the guidelines even with scale less fish i.e My Red Tail Shark and Four Line Pim have always been fine with the full dose , it’s also useful when adding new fish , Another plus is it can be used along side other Esha products such as Exit or Optima, ,every fish keeper should keep this and Exit when keeping tropical fish , recommended

Used to treat suspected parasites with secondary fungal infections. The fish had developed white blotches (not dots) and were flashing against rocks and scratching themselves on the sand. I tried a few things before Esha 2000 containing malachite green and formaldehyde which didn't seem to work. Esha cleared it up in a week and the fish are all well again. I'm sure if I hadn't used this product my fish would have eventually perished.

I bought this as I had a chiclet that did not seem to be lively as usual, after following the directions a week later she was bright and her usual self. Great to keep in just in case there is a problem in a tank. If you have carbon in your filters or a UV sterilising light, then remove the carbon and turn off the UV for the length of treatment as you do not want the carbon and UV to remove the medicine.

I really do love this stuff and I've used many of the products but I've marked it down a star due to non of the instructions are in English. If you are using this product for the first time really research into how it's used. Very very good product and I know it's a small fault but overdoses can kill fish, plants ect so please read some kind of instructions before use. Excellent results *****

Used esha exit for whitespot before and very good, so when one of my fishes developed white lumps someone suggested it could be parasitic. So I have used esha 2000 for 3 days now it is disappearing but not completely gone yet so going to treat for another cpl days to make sure.No effects to plants or other fish, I have clown loach in my tank, so esha works perfectly with them in.. ?

I had a bronze corydoras (Blinky) with a bad white wolly fungal infection on the back, quarantine her and bought this medication. I treated her every day for three days with the required drops needed and after a week the fungus was gone and she was more lively, so now back in my communial tank.Just make sure you add the correct dose and wait a few days to see the result!.

Our fighter fish may have been too far gone for this product to have worked so at this time we are not sure how well it works as our fish sadly didn't survive. Possibly if we had started treatment earlier before the disease had got to far it may have worked. At least we have it at home now in preparation of any future problems with the fish.
