I bought these for my wife. She wanted a robust and compact pair of binoculars that she could carry around in her coat pocket when walking in the countryside where we live. Ideally, for her, that would mean something like 10 or 8x32 - she preferred 10x32.We had tried several brands before - with a great deal of disappointment. The cheaper end, sub £150, just did not perform well, particularly in low light conditions, which isn't surprising - a 50mm objective lens is far better matched to 10-times magnification. The more expensive brands, £300 to £600 performed well, but she said she would be afraid to take the out of the box in case they were damaged!However, these little Eschenbachs have ticked all the boxes!

Fantastic little binocular. Bought this to replace broken pair of Silva 10x25 and decided to take the plunge with a more expensive pair. I use them for hiking, wildlife and keeping an eye on DofE groups when I'm out on expeditions with them. These are so much better to use than the Silvas; images are bright and crisp right across the field of view, the field of view is much wider than I have seen on this size of binocular and they feel robust and purposeful in your hands. Highly recommended.

Outstanding value for money. Seriously, I had to check to see if a mistake had been made, and either I had ordered the wrong ones or they had been sold far too cheap by mistake. These binoculars put most £600 pairs to shame. The clarity of vision is pure brilliance and the carrying case was something to behold; perfectly padded and with loads of pockets. Even the strap was padded and well made.

Excellent glasses, with the wide angle that only larger Objective lenses can bring to a pair of good binoculars. Well-accompanied with compact case, two straps and protective lens caps all round - plus an informative Instruction manual. The only downside is their size & weight, but you can use a tripod mount or support them on something solid, if this bothers you. Great value too.

I'm finding that this binocular has nice clear optics and is not too heavy. The carry case is well made, but the attachment points for the carry strap are too low, meaning that the case tends to turn upside down. Overall though, a nice piece of kit.

For the size and price they are absolutely perfect. Took them on Safari and worked both for long distance sighting of the animals and for the finer details when close up. Excellent clarity, I can highly recommend .

Loved the weight, quality and magnification. Took it to the Breeders Cup and will take it along for all sports events from now on.

This binocular is very good like the rest of his family unfortunately it's quite heavy that's why I exchange it for a 8x42
