I’ve been carrying in slings and carriers for 2 years now and definitely come across a few problems with other brands as he grows up – with the sling it was fantastic until 12 months but then he could get his arms out so I couldn’t back carry safely and the Babybjorn carrier I was using created problems back carrying because I’m still breastfeeding which was incredibly uncomfortable where the straps came into contact with the chest and using the chest strap. It also had issues with making sure his legs were in the correct position. This one has definitely taken some getting used to but it’s very comfortable and there’s so many different ways to customise it so that you can get the perfect fit for you and your child.I love that this one isn’t just a front/back carrier but also suited to hip carrying. If you do go for this one, get a doll/teddy and practice with it or stand next to the bed but I also found having a mirror to see what I was doing helped a lot. The instructions are picture based and not always the easiest to follow so I found the Ergobaby YouTube channel videos really helped go through it step by step. I like that there’s a lot of mesh around babies back because in hot weather it can get a bit sweaty. With this one though there is nothing between you and baby so if you get sweaty then so will they. I love that this one has a hood to keep baby dry but it’s not very usable while back carrying as you can’t see them to ensure it’s safe. Back carrying at 2, he is obviously getting heavy but I can still go walking up hills etc for a good few hours while he enjoys a bit of a nap in it although the shoulder straps may not be the comfiest thing to lie on but they are well padded. I’ve found that every time I’ve put him in it, his legs are in the correct M position so we’re not having spend time adjusting the carrier each time he gets into it (and now he’s walking he’s in and out of it a lot). I like that it comes with a detachable pouch but they’ve forgot about us back carriers who wouldn’t want to have valuables on our backs as the pouch doesn’t fit on the front of the waistbelt. I then have to put it either on the strap at my hip which isn’t a great fit or over the chest strap which covers the clip – if only the Velcro flap wasn’t so wide and it could have attached to the centre of the lumbar waistbelt. Is it worth the money? Considering I paid around £50 for the sling which I had to stop using at 1 year, I’d definitely say so as I’ll be using this one up until he’s age 4/45lbs – I do wish I’d had this one much sooner to really get the most out of it from newborn to age 4. It has definitely worked for us and makes life a lot easier than worrying about where we can take a buggy.

We always planned to get a carrier when baby got a bit older, but discovering we had a baby that hates to nap during the day we brought the plans forward. A few laps in the living room in this and she'll drift off in about 2 mins, which is worth the price alone. We chose this model firstly because it was hip dysplasia safe - also because it seemed so versatile. You can wear the baby front or back, or facing inwards or forward. At just 4-months old we've only tried wearing her on the front, but it is very comfortable. The wide, padded waist belt takes all the weight and there's plenty of adjustment available everywhere else to allow both of us to get her in a comfortable position.Ease of use is fine.My wife can get the baby in and out in seconds. I have less practise and am far less efficient but get it done fine.We bought the cool air version, as we can wrap her up in winter (we also got the fleece lined waterproof rain cover), but also want to use it when out and about in summer. The fabric seems strong and hard wearing and she seems very happy and comfortable. So far, we've really only experienced using it with a sleeping baby, so when she's older and looking around and moving more it will be interesting to see how she reacts.Let's be honest, it's very expensive. I think I said when it arrived "we've just paid £150 for half a backpack". But under the surface there is a well-built and well-thought-out product that we hope to get a lot of use out of over the next couple of years. It is probably overpriced for what it is, but it really does seem to be the best, it works well, is well-made and the baby is happy. Until someone else can provide all of this for less, then it is worth every penny.

I tried many carriers and my baby only liked the Ergobaby but I had an old original which I bought second hand that wasn't outward facing. With this I can have her facing outwards or inwards which she loves. Switching between the two is super easy. Recently used this carrier on holiday and it was a life saver for when baby was fussy or if I needed to pop out but not take the whole stroller with me. We're both comfortable with the carrier. I love that it's mesh since we live in a hot climate a breeze should keep her body cooler. Wish I had bought this from day one and not bothered with the other ones I had. Plan on using it for all my future babies!

Should have bought this from the very beginning, rather than spending money on other 6 types of carriers. Is a great carrier, my 7 months old really seems comfortable and cost and loves the forward position too. Its a really great and well made product and really really fit for purpose. The only downside if that if you would wish to wear a backpack too while carrying the baby, that is not possible. Is very easy and fast to use, I actually use it more inside the house as my girls is getting heavier and is so easy and quick to carry her in the carrier. Thumbs up!

Fantastic carrier!Bit the bullet of the price tag but was worth it baby is super comfy falls asleep often in this!Comfort whilst for adult is good but anything after a few hours is going to start to ache! But saying that it is the most comfortable sling I’ve ever hadEasy to adjust from mum to dad although clasp on shoulder blade can be difficult to unclip when removing purely because the fact it’s just awkward positioning but it’s not from it’s made or anything if that makes sense!?Your also paying for qualityThumbs up

I really like this carrier. It distributes the weight really well and I can manage to put the baby in and take out myself without any assistance (I’ve only tried front and rear facing positions so far). My partner is a lot bigger than me and he can use it fine as well. The material feels quite rough though so I’ve bought the teething pads to cover the straps. This is softer for if baby falls asleep, to avoid rubbing his face against the strap.

It was the one thing I was most looking forward to when preparing for our baby's arrival... getting a baby carrier!I did try the BB brand one first but the comfort was lacking for me (IMO). This Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air ticks all boxes. Much more practical, convenient and comfortable than BB. Highly recommend it and my baby loves it so much. She never complains when in the carrier. Prefer this to pushing her in the Bugaboo.

We were in two minds about purchasing the Ergo Baby due to price; after friends' recommendations we went for it and it is the most useful baby product we have brought. I only use this now, rather than the pram, as my baby is so much happier in it. We'd tried cloth slings before which I didn't get on with as they were a hassle when you have a screaming baby/sleep deprived rain; the Ergo Baby is so much easier.

Used it from 3 weeks on, it really adjusts to the babies size (hips posiyion & head support). The material is a bit too rough fir a small baby around the jead atea so i was putti g muslin between head and career around the head area.We put folded muslin on my chest for extra support for babies wobbly head as well.Would get it again, as its really ergonomic.I think this time id get a mesh version hmm

I had a nightmare trying to choose a baby carrier. This one was attempt number 4 and the absolute winner. I wish I had bought this first. Very easy to put on, great hip support and high quality material. Small improvement idea would be to move the pocket to the side instead of under the baby. But that’s non-essential. This is the best baby carrier on the market imho.

Wow how great is this.... this is my second child but I wish I’d know about this when I had my first. Makes my life so much easier and my baby loves it. Looks and feels great too, with lots of support and makes it easy to breastfeed discreetly. My partner loves it too and I’ve no hassle now in getting him to carry the baby. Love it so much, thank you.

I love love love my carrier. Following a c-section with my son this carrier was the perfect solution. I get comments on it everywhere I go. it's super comfortable for walking the dog. It super supportive and helpful for my "nurses back". Totally worth the investment. Highly recommend, if you found my review helpful please hit the helpful button below

The fabric is so soft but durable and it’s been well thought out and constructed.I used it with baby facing me all cuddled up when she needed a nap then switched her to forward facing so that she could see all the action when she woke up.It’s so useful if you don’t want to/ or can’t take a pram or pushchair. I’m taking mine to Tenerife.

My baby is one year old. She preferred facing outwards which my old carrier could not accommodate. I was unsure about ergobaby because some reviews indicated that the straps were hard and / or uncomfortable. That has not been my experience at all. The straps are comfortable. Easily adjustable. Seat cuddles baby just right. Baby loves it!

As a first time father this is the only baby carrier I've ever used and it is great. My son is very comfortable in it as it provides great support whichever way he is facing in it. It is also very easy to put on and take off so my wife and I can take turns carrying the child.
