This carrier has saved my fudging sanity. As I write this review, Im donning a wonderful sleepy baby who previously would cry himself into oblivion because we just couldn’t get him to sleep! 11 hours was considered a good effing day!!!Before ergo, We tried every hand held position on earth and he definitely does not settle on his own.Theo is the baby that refuses to sleep in the car, the pram and to white noise. Theo was labelled by the health visitor as a “difficult baby”. Theo is the baby that has a serious case of MF FOMO. However!! Stick him in this carrier and BANG, it’s lights out and peace and quiet for everyone. PRAISE THE LORD! I can not believe how good this carrier is!At 10weeks and 12lbs,

I tried using a soft cloth sling for my newborn but quickly found that too unstructured and fiddly. So I forked out the money for this. It is more structured for sure, with its combination of straps, it's easy to get a tight fit for baby to feel secure. This helps massively when doing chores around the house whereas with the fabric sling I always felt he was falling out. Baby very quickly goes to sleep in this sling carrier which is useful when he's being a pain!The only problem I had when baby was smaller was if going for a long walk or leaning over a lot, the baby would sink down so I'd have to pick him up inside the sling and readjust him.The sling didn't overheat even on hot days.Now my baby is 6 weeks old the sling really feels like it's coming into its own.

I tentatively bought this thinking a carrier might be a good idea to have now I have a second child - turns out I’ve used it every single day and couldn’t be without it now!My baby happily naps in it while I go to my toddlers usual groups and classes (which keeps her happy too!). It’s great for nipping to the shops with if I don’t want to get the buggy out of the boot of the car. It also settles my baby really well at home when he gets fussy, and the movement of carrying out my usual chores gently rocks him to sleep.Also, I slipped a disc in my back last year and so was worried about using a carrier in case it put strain on my weak back - however this Ergobaby carrier hasn’t given me back ache at all.

I got this because it is meant to be the best and I’m a little disappointed.I used it with the newborn insert which was great, no problems! Comfortable to wear and baby would sleep in it for ages. My issues came when he got bigger. He was past the age/weight to remove the insert but I couldn’t figure out how to make it comfortable for him. There were a few times where I had to remove him from the carrier and carry him home as he was getting so upset. Turns out the backs of his legs were being rubbed by the rough material.I just couldn’t work it out, it was too fiddly to adjust. I will try again when he is a little older and I’m going to try back carrying,but ye,

Absolutely love this carrier. With my daughter we had the Baby Bjorn but I found it a bit rigid. I've been using this Ergo with the insert since my son was 3 weeks and just 7lb. It just seems so much more comfortable for a baby, hugs the baby to you and allows him to curl his legs in the frog position rather than just hanging. It's also more comfortable for me and my husband also prefers it as it provides very good back support and is easy to put on. It's got a really useful sun cover too which I've also used with light rain.My only complaint is that the belt ties with a huge Velcro piece and it's very noisy to undo when the baby has fallen asleep and you're trying to be quiet getting him

Got this after my son seemed to outgrow his fabric sling by 4months. We got a sling for when baby was first born to walk the dogs with and use around the house but our sturdy little man became too heavy to stay in place with fabric so after a lot of research decided to spend a bit extra and get the ergobaby carrier. Wish I had got this from the start! It’s so comfortable to wear and my baby is really well supported- even used it for sling dance classes! It fits both my husband and me well as is easily adjusted and can fold down into a carrier bag to pop under the pram if out and about and don’t want to just rely on the pram. It’s simple enough to put on whilst on the go also

I purchased this to travel around SE Asia with my 6 month old, we traveled for three months and during this time I used it daily for hours and not once was this uncomfortable. I was worried as I have a Chico carrier that I purchased when he was born to see if he liked being carried and that gave me such bad back aches. I spent weeks looking at the best carrier for long journeys and decided upon this product and i was not disappointed, this really made life easy in countries where a pushchair is just not an option or even when going to the supermarket on your own to enable you to use a normal trolley so you can actually see where you are going.

This is one of the best baby related purchases we have made. I use it every day so that I can easily walk the dog and take the baby with me too. It's easy to put on by myself and comfortable too. The baby loves it as he can see what's going on and see me too. He's 4 months old and so is facing me at the moment and is so comfy that he always falls asleep in it. The dog likes it too as his lead no longer gets tangled in the buggy wheels!! It is a considered purchase as there are cheaper ones out there, but it supports your back and shoulders and the baby is happy so for me it's worth the money.

So so so so happy with this purchase! I've tried slings and my baby has just screamed away in them, however he has been so calm with this carrier and drifts off to sleep in it fairly quickly.I found it a little fiddly to put on, especially when placing a wriggly little one in.. but I think it's one of those things that will get easier with time.A zip pocket would have been handy to pop phones, wallets, etc in, but otherwise great product!

We were apprehensive to buy this at first because of the price but it’s an amazing investment. It’s so secure and my little girl falls asleep in it on walks it’s that comfy for her. It’s easy to adjust and use too. The suppliers were so accommodating. The original colour we order in was out of stock so they sent us the more expensive colour for the same price to make up for it.

Brilliant baby carrier. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out how to do up the carrier while on my own, but once I got the hang of it it was fine.My baby loves being in the carrier and I love how I can keep him close to me but still have my hands free! Initially bought to use while walking the dog but now use it for most things. Would definitely recommend.

This is probably the best thing we have bought for our son. He has reflux and struggles to sleep lying down, he’ll fall asleep in this in no time. We’ve stopped using the pram and just take this everywhere.It’s well designed and ergonomically comfortable. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Looked around at carriers and came across this one, so glad I purchased it, it’s amazing! So comfy to use and easy, the newborn inset made him feel cosy and secure, not tried it forward facing yet. I could wear it all day and my back would still be ok and he loves it!

I love this ergobaby, I think the price is worth it and my newborn baby feels very comfortable and warm when in it, and its rain/wind head cover is a must. These is one of the things that I will save for later in case ai have another baby.

We have been using this since our little one was a few days old. Very useful for quick trips to the shop when prepping the pram is just not worth it. Baby seems cozy and comfortable, he fell asleep in the carrier a lot of times.
