I recently bought this projector, upgrading my old EB-S04 (3000 lumen and SVGA 800*600).This is for the XGA VERSIONI have only had this projector for a day, however it is great! while its XGA (1024*768) (4:3 Aspect Ratio) resolution is a little low quality, I don't find it noticeable on general video / movies, some very small writing is hard to read but is generally ok, it is BRIGHT, and I mean BRIGHT, easily bright enough for you to have your curtains open and have a good quality image, I am using it in my room and outdoors for an outdoor cinema for my family, its brightness and screen size up to 300" means it is easily capable of doing this. It is bright enough that even in the ECO mode (2,235 lumen)it is easily bright enough and this gives you a 10,000 hour lamp life with much quieter fans and a lower power consumption. It uses 3LCD so there is little chance for the rainbow effect to occur, it has got HDMI, VGA, Video and cinch audio inputs, along with USB A (for optional WiFi) and USB B for a computer. In normal power mode the fan noise is quite loud but in ECO it is barely audible. My cons are in normal power mode the fans are quite loud, along with it gets warm, in ECO mode both those problems are semi solved as the fans are quieter and there is a lot less heat output.

This is a very good projector for its price range. It is of sturdy build and amazing picture and brightness quality even in a partially bright room. However, there is one thing I will explain regarding the sound-out to a secondary sound system which will be beneficial to those who wish bigger sound:The audio Phono is audio in and not audio out. It is probably there for direct video camera source. I eventually found a way to "audio-out".......Use a hdmi lead to micro usb from the projector to your digital source eg: smart phone. Connect a 3.5 stereo jack extension lead from the smart phone to the speaker source. If it is a relatively new smart phone/ device,it may be a 4 pole 3.5 jack for which you'll need 4 pole jacks and not 3 pole extension lead. Check your device. This will succeed and you'll have sound out to the speak source you require.I'm not sure why there is not a sound out source and there be other ways around it but this is adequate for my set-up.Other than that, it's a good, well built projector with most of the important settings of a projector in higher price ranges.

I bought this Epson projector as an upgrade to a cheap Chinese which wasn't great but it did infect me with the big screen bug. I love watching films on a big screen (my living room wall) it is like having my own cinema, where I can watch what I like. There are two settings on the Epson, standard and Eco mode, because the lamp is so powerful I have not had to use anything but Eco mode, which is good as it doubles the life of the lamp. One thing to be aware of with this model is that while it does have an acceptable internal speaker, it doesn't have a speaker output, so you will need to use an HDMI signal extractor to use external speakers. This sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is,the boxes are easily and cheaply available and you just link them in between your signal source (Firestick, etc) and the projector itself then you can link some powerful speakers and finally have a sound system worthy of the image. All in all I'm very happy with the set up I have and consider this an excellent purchase.

This is my first purchase of a projector and I am very impressed!Easy to set up, comes with a lovely little carry bag and with my amazon fire stick, feel like I have the movies in my home.Picture quality is excellent. Works well in daylight and nighttime. Motor is quiet.I bought a stand and returned it, as this works well from the floor or a small table, due to the inbuilt riser. The speaker is good, I have found it crisp and clear and not at all lacking in base. I think if you have a larger room, you may need a sound bar. Try without first, you will be pleasantly surprised!Only con is the fan. It’s positioned at the front right hand corner. It gets really hot so be aware of this when you position the projector.

Use for ps4 only disliked that there was no audio out jack .. Easy to get around .picture is 1080p crisp pic built in speaker is OK but I use my own sound system . I use a Bluetooth transmitter 3.5 jack £,20 or under ... Seen some complaints about the projector having no audio out .... It is a projector not a home cinema . use the audio jack your protecting off ....one other thing the wireless adaptor is over priced £90 odd pound ...other than that it is a good buy easy to set up .. I never use instruction s to set it up basic plug and play ..very happy.... Also easy to transport ......

I'm familiar with Epson projectors through work, so recommended and bought one on behalf of a local Astronomical society to replace their ageing projector. Tried it at home to make sure it was all working before handing it over, and loved it to the point that I seriously considered buying one myself (though I'd get a 16:9 model for my own use). Lovely bright image even on an unprepared wall with the curtains open. Would have been nice if wi-fi was included, rather than an expensive add-on, but it wasn't required for the job, so no problem.

For the price, you aren't going to find much better than this. The picture quality is good, the projection is bright (easily displaying in daylight) and the projector is easy to turn on/off and adjust. There are some minor quibbles - no WiFi connection without buying an adapter and a lack of headphone jack to simply connect external speakers. But the built-in speaker is fine for "out the box" viewing and we have done most of our viewing by plugging a NowTV stick into the HDMI port. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

We bought this projector for our youth club. We found it to be a high-quality, versatile projector. It is easy to move and quick to set-up. The projector has a strong and bright image. Lightweight and portable. You can easily link it up with Apple devices via HDMI adapter cable but note that HDMI adapter is not included with the projector. This needs to be bought separately. The bag is light and could be better quality but this is not a deal breaker.

Projector is amazing! Works better with a screen. I’m using an anti crease one here. The sound could be better, connecting your Bluetooth speaker does make a huge difference though. The resolution is good enough, colour and contrast as well. You can watch it with daylight too without problems. Only problem is the fan noise, once the sound is on you can’t notice it really.Honestly I don’t know how I haven’t bought this earlier...

This is one of several projectors that I have tried, The picture quality is excellent, even in day light. The picture is clear and sharp, Am using this on a 120 " screen that I built my self. Cant recommend this enough, Great cinema experience. Please note, this is not a TV so don't expect the same tv experience . This projector has given my friends the Wow experience and have now ordered there own

I really like the portability, its quite small when closed and easy to store or transport. The closing latches feel sturdy enough and the body is made of metal. At this price I would like to have seen better designed legs, these are flimsy and feel like an afterthought.I've had no problems with ripples, the screen seems to be held tight.Overall I really like it but feel it's slightly over priced.

Love the quality of this, great home cinema experience, bought it on prime day deal, sound quality is decent, but it's better to connect speakers to the actual source, do recommend using it in eco mode as the lamp will last more longer, eco mode just goes a bit dimmer but don't really make much difference. This is a long throw projector so you'll need a decent amount of space for a big screen

It's so amazing! Never had one before, hardly even used to watch the tele before lockdown, now I'm projecting youtube fireworks displays for my street and watching all sorts of wonderful things on netflix/youtube etc. Also love it for projecting my own art work onto the wall and doing my more mundane 9-5 work through it at big scale. Really simple to set up. Totally fab!

Bought for use at work - very good quality - good image size and good value for the price. Easy to set up - basically plug in and use.Not tried for tv/videos, but on static excel / presentations does a great job even just on white walls with no screen. Good level of brightness.Image correction when you use the projector at an angle very useful.

Looks great but cannot get any of our devices to work wirelessly or with USB cable. Just displays unknown please remove from USB. Only purchased for the WiFi capability to stream from tablets and phone and it doesn’t work. Instructions are near to useless. Have a Chromecast which I plug into the HDMI Port which works fine so will keep.
