I wished to print two family history books and required double-sided paper that would cope with text, charts and photos. There seem to be surprisingly few choices of suitable paper but as I have an Epson printer I decided to experiment with this matte paper. It produced excellent results with my R2880 photo printer. The text is crisp and clear and the black and white photos are exceptionally good. Colour photos are not, of course, as bright as those printed on glossy paper but colour photos on matte paper have their own distinct quality and are especially good for landscape scenes.The one downside of using this paper for a book is that it is rather thick if the book is of any length.

This is an excellent product as long as one uses the paper for the purposes for which it is designed and if one uses the correct printer settings - as noted by other reviewers. Epson's product description states that the paper is "For presentation materials, reports, newsletters, colour reproductions." It is not photo paper, and certainly not a cheap substitute for photo paper. It is ideal for any use where one needs to combine text with diagrams and photos. I have been writing a family history book for my own family and this paper gives excellent reproduction of a combination of text, charts and some photos. However, it is important to choose "photo quality inkjet paper" from the list of printer options.

I had this delivered because it was an excellent price for a quality inkjet paper-and it would be too heavy to lug home!It arrived quickly and I was not disappointed with the excellent quality of this paper. I have used it for several application now and each time the printed results have been excellent.I will not use cheap nasty paper in the printer at all because it goes soggy and also is so flimsy it can jam up the printer workings.I would recommend this to anyone even for 'gash-trial' printing as it will not be a waste and you can see what the results will be at the end.

At some point the paper had been dropped on a corner and loads of sheets were bent - so they may jam in a printer.I've been pretty kind and left 5 stars because the product is very good, heavy weight and a nice feel.But I think with paper, it's too heavy and easily ruined in the post/warehouse.*edit*I rang amazon and they offered to take it back and have a courier pick it up. When I said I didn't fancy taking a day off work for a £5 issue, the amazon rep gave me a partial refund. So I'm a happy chappy. But I would still recommend buying paper in person in a shop.

Hello every one ,this Epson a4 bright white paper is great ,i must admit to buying loads of this a 4 paper of all different makes suppliers etc ,most of it does the job ,but this Epson paper is a bit better in my opinion ,dosent jam printer works great for invoices letter heads etc, and i can honestly say this paper is great for this purpose ,i will diffently buy from amazon this paper again .saying that i buy most of my products from amazon of wich i think are a great company as well ,so if your after a great quality paper for printing etc ,i can recomend this paper ,

This is exactly what it says - photo quality ink jet paper. It has a sharp, bright white printing surface. Unlike ordinary inkjet paper, it absorbs virtually no ink, with the result that you use less ink. This paper doesn't distort when you print photos on it, unlike standard inkjet paper. The colours are bright and the photographs sharp and clear with no smudging. For use when you don't need/want to create glossy photographs (when you want ultimate quality and longevity you will need glossy paper, but bear in mind the cost difference!).

An excellent quality paper which we use for our photo-dense documents. The printing side is bright white (essential when you need to maintain colour management). The quality of the printing is excellent with pin-sharp detailing even with a cheap Espon Stylus Photo R285. There are specific settings for this paper in Espon printer software so make sure that you check your settings before printing.We haven't found any other paper to match this. The only thing that would improve this paper would be to reduce the price!

Wanted a quality bright white paper of 90 gsm weight and with minmum bleed through. I used an Epson Stylus Photo 810 with compatible ijtdirect inks to print a document with graphics. It gave a crisp text with minimum visible on the reverse. The colour images were slightly visible on the reverse. I would say you could print on both sides of the paper. Don't forget to set the paper selector in the printer properties dialogue box to 'Bright white paper'. Probably the best non-coated paper available. Recommended.

This is my go-to favourite paper for use with my Brother Inkjet printer. Each sheet of paper is a brilliant shade of white and the matte finish makes every page feel high quality in the hand. The paper has a 90 gsm thickness so it feels thicker and weighs a bit more than cheaper printer paper.Overall, it's an all rounded printer paper that hits the targets for price, quality and economy. Great inkjet paper. It's 90gsm (rather than the 70-80gsm laserjet papers). As well as absorbing the ink better this paper thickness allows 2-sided printing. NB a number of inkjet printers (particularly the Epson workforce) need 90gsm minimum to do double-sided printing or else the roller grips can't pinch the paper to retrieve it. Print quality on this is fine at all quality settings. Decent shade of white on the paper. All in all no complaints.You can use this instead of the HP inkjet paper (

Printing at 1440dpi produces excellent photo quality results. Ideal if you want to display photos in an album or a picture frame (though you will get slight colour fade over time if displayed in direct sunlight). You simply cannot print at 1440dpi (or better) on ordinary paper without the paper distorting or the colours bleeding.It is useful to print your photo on this paper while experimenting with the best size, shape and composition before wasting any of the expensive glossy photo paper.

Have found that if you have an Epson printer then for best results use Epson paper. Good results compared to normal photocopy paper but not really suitable for quality photo printing (as you would expect you need to spend more for such paper). No 5 stars purely due to price as it is a bit more expensive than alternatives. Adequate for non-important letters and day-to-day print-out needs. Have continually purchased this paper when required so obviously happy with it. Hope this helps.

This is my paper of choice for my Epson ET-2500 printer resulting in good, clear printouts in relation to general printing tasks. The paper also feeds smoothly and has never become entangled in the mechanism, unlike cheaper papers I have used in other printers in the past.It would be helpful if the paper could be packed for storage in a box, rather than in the flimsy packaging that is in evidence at the moment, to prevent it from damage when stored.

Epson S041749 A4 Bright White Inkjet Paper...Superb quality extra white inkjet paper of 90 grams/sq. metre. This is a quality paper with which you will not experience printing problems. In fact using this will enhance any letter of presentation.Found at Amazon and not in the local shops who appear to stock only 75 grams, recycled paper which whilst OK for some every day uses, does not add anything to the job.Highly recommended..

It's whiter and a nicer quality compared to the standard 80gsm I usually buy.I read a few comments claiming that it also works well for duplex printing. Although that may be the case for laserjet printing, it certainly isn't ideal for inkjet printing - which you'd expect from this weight.More importantly though, print comes out clear; colours are vibrant and contrasting, the paper doesn't become too soggy, and text appears crisp.
