Argos had given me a gift voucher, because of what I had spent on a previous purchase so I decided to put it towards a more expensive torch than I would normally buy. What a difference compared to the cheaper torches! On full power the beam stretches away into the distance. Low power still gives enough light for close up use. In spite of its performance, it is still small enough to fit in a pocket. It is extremely robust and practical. Even at full price, well worth the cost.

This torch seems to be just what I needed. The lgiht is bright, but also has an easy way to swith to a dimmer setting, and has another flahing full bright setting. It is early days but I am so far delighted with the purchase. The body is of good quality aluminium looking metal, the battery compartment is accessed by a good quality end screw cap. Batteries fit logically and easily. It also has a detachable hand strap should you require it. Very good unit.

I purchased this torch for my daughter to take on her expedition for her Duke of Edinburgh award. It's great value for money - the best around for this price and has excellent hours of battery life in comparison to other models. In fact the packaging of ours said more hours than the one advertised on the website so perhaps they have improved this model. Not too heavy or bulky - slim but powerful. Would definitely recommend.

Needed a new torch to replace an old one that suddenly stopped working. Read the reviews for this torch and all sounded good. Have not been disappointed as the amount of light available is great, so much better than the large one it replaced. Looked a bit small at the start but in fact it is a very convenient size to put in a pocket. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new torch.

Needed a replacement torch as previous one had stopped working. Actually bought two - one for me and one for my husband. God strong casing, batteries easy to fit, bright light gives reassurance when out walking after dark and essential in case of power cut. Batteries supplied with torch, but bought a pack of extra life batteries for future use.

this product is small and light weight enough to hold and carry in a pocket. We have two large dogs which need a walk and this time of year it is dark in the mornings and evenings this torch is so bright and powerful we are able to let the dogs walk off lead and are still able to see where they are highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was looking for a small, yet powerful torch. Saw this in the Argos catalogue, though more expensive than run of the mill types, found it ideal in use.Extremely well made and had the two AA Lithium batteries provided as well. The light output is excellent with a powerful well defined beam.Cannot fault it in any way.

For the price this is an amazing torch. Really bright strong beam. Love that it only requires AA batteries rather than the chunky C and Ds of other powerful torches. Great powerful torch and it is nice to have the option to have a weaker beam. Not sure how long batteries will last but very effective torch.

I have not bought an LED torch before so didn't know how well this would perform but I'm very happy with it. Ideal for shining into confined spaces but works a treat out in the open giving good illumination from such a small torch. I would definitely recommend based on my experience so far.

Slight issue with the on/off button....I think it's not a fault as such, just as the kids switch on/off a bit it does not always do it. If not used for 30 seconds again or so its fine. Otherwise a very good, powerful and solid torch for the price and size.

The beam is nice and bright, so far the batteries have lasted fine. It's slightly heavier than I expected, but not to a point of causing any issues. In fact it is the solid feel of the metal that makes it feel a bit heavier than expected. Feels robust.

I use this torch at work... First time I used it I was delighted to see that it was much brighter than my colleague's torch! It also has a less-bright setting, which is useful such as for reading sheets of paper. Quality item, worth the money.

I’m really pleased with this little torch. I use use during these dark evenings and it lights up the pathways. - very useful. It also fits in my handbag and is there should I need it.It gives off a good light and is very reasonably priced.

Replaced my bulky old torch with this Energiser torch, small,light and excellent light output,easy to take out with you on a walk with your dog and pop it into your pocket,i highly recommend this torch and may buy another to keep in my car.

Bought for my 11yr old son to take on scout camp. Robust design, nice & bright. Batteries lasted him the full 4 nights of camp. I have noticed it occasionally flickered but re-fitting the batteries seems to have resolved that.
