Elizabeth Arden is a premium brand so it is not unexpected that this is a quality rich black mascara. The brush is well-designed which is an essential factor because it permits application without clumping. Given my thin lashes I am impressed by the way this product builds-up lashes to a reasonably lush degree without creating a clownish result even after applying three or four coats.With each dip into the tube, just the right quantity of mascara is loaded on the brush so a thorough coat can be applied. Some mascara over-saturates the brush making a neat controlled application difficult. With this product it is possible to gradually build-up light coats which is key to an attractive result.The

I’ve been searching for a replacement for my favourite mascara for a long time. Dial a Lash hasn’t been available for quite sometime but it did everything I wanted to- made my lashes appear fuller, didn’t smudge, didn’t make my eyes water or sting, and it lasted until I took it off ( and came off easily with make up remover). Plus I was a sucker for that dial on the bottom as lower numbers meant I could bump up my natural look a tad or go full on with a higher number.This doesn’t make my lashes look as lush but it does a good job of making them look long and dark behind my glasses. It also doesn’t sting my eyes and dries fairly fast do smudging isn’t an issue.

This gives a natural lash look as opposed to chunky big black spider legs- which in my opinion is a good thing! However you can build up the intensity, but it will still leave you with a more dignified, elegant lash rather than the overdone spidery look. It is densely pigmented and it did leave my lashes dark, separated and retained their curl most of the day after I had used an eye lash curler. I think it is a fair product for the money- it does do the job well- but I do think that there are other products on the market that give a bolder lash look for the money (without giving the spider leg look) I do like it, but not sure whether I would be in a rush to purchase over another mascara.

I loved this mascara. It is nice and rich and gives a really great effect. Makes my lashes look longer and fuller and i really like the long brush.I have not had any issues with clumping but mascara can clump in a new bottle so you need to wipe off the brush completely on the 1st use so its completely clean and then it will be fine. I use wet wipes to clean my brush at every use however. You also should wiggle and sweep your lashes to coat them evenly to avoid spider lashes and make sure you leave a good 2-3 minutes between additional layering applications. I also find that mascara is better if you keep it in a place at room temperature, if the room is too cold then you can get clumps come out of the bottle.Thhe bottle is fab,

Elizabeth Arden Lasting Impression Mascara - Black 01This is a lovely mascara in a rich, dark black. The brush looks rather vicious, with large spikes, but is in fact lovely and soft so it isn't going to scratch your eyes or skin! The mascara applies smoothly, builds up well (if you want a heavier look) and stays on well two. It gives a really good effect.A couple of niggles. First, the tube doesn't have much of a high-end feel; it's just a shaped plastic tube in matte black with a gloss black lid and matte golden writing. The slim cardboard box doesn't justify paying twice as much as other mascaras. The other niggle for me is that the mascara isn't waterproof,

This is simply amazing mascara!I have very short eyelashes but not with this on. They look long and thick. This stuff is heavy duty. It doesn't flake and stays on until you take it off. A bit of a negative is that it isn't actually the easiest mascara to remove as my normal micellar water needs a few goes at taking it off completely but I suppose that can be viewed as a positive because you know it is not going to come off when you don't wnat it to and it will definitely last all day.I love the brush too. It is thin and tapered and it makes it really easy to get into the corner lashes.It does not irritate my eyes in any way.I really love this and will be subscribing to this from Amazon as it is so good.

This is definitely a well presented and luxury looking and luxury feeling product. Elizabeth Arden is a premium product but at a premium price.I love the style of the brush, it's just the type I like, it's chunky and covers the lashes well. I found the mascara a good consistency but didn't give my lashes quite the oomph I thought it would in one or two coats. It gives you an elegant look rather than a show-stopping look and there's cheaper products out there that make you lashes look longer and fuller.I do like the product but due to the price it's not something I'd purchase regularly unless it was absolutely perfect. If you can find this on offer then I'd recommend.

The mascara itself isn’t too clumpy or too thick. In fast the consistency of the mascara is pretty much spot on, going onto your lashes smoothly and very evenly.Whilst applying the mascara, the brushes bristles separate your lashes easily as you apply the liquid. The end result is a well-defined and effective look – definitely defining the lashes with a longer and more pronounced look.

This is a very nice mascara - it does not clump at all and my lashes look longer but still quite natural, not overly "made up". As a result, it is lovely to wear every day, but it is really quite expensive when compared to the sorts of brands you can pick up in the supermarket or high-street make-up counters. Of course, this is a designer brand and so the price is to be expected, but this is a product that you cannot simply "save for best" as whether you wear it every day or only on special occasions, you cannot keep it for months on end for hygiene reasons. A very nice product if you are able to splash out.

This mascara is so gentle to apply. The brush is soft so even when I poke myself in the eye (which happens a lot) it doesn't really hurt. It also means my lashes look soft and natural. It doesn't smudge or flake and stays nice and black all day. The only downside is that it is really difficult to get that va-va-voom look. It requires so many layers and takes a really long time. Because of this, I think this would be a good day time mascara but doesn't really cut it for the evenings - and for the price I'd really want something that's a bit more of an all-rounder.

I have used this a few times now and find it good. Mine is neither too dry or too wet It is a nice texture and goe on well. I have read the other reviews and they make me wonder if there is a problem with the packaging that allows it to dry out?? Just a question mark. But mine is fine. I like the brush and like the look it gives . Probably it will not be my very favourite mascara and it is expensive but not much more than the ones I normally use. Over all I really like Elizabeth Arden products and this is no exception. I would say it is fine but not exceptional.

I got an immediate effect from one brush through, this is a very powerful mascara. Just be a bit careful when removing the wand from the tube, as it can have clumps on the brush, so wipe them away inside before applying. The mascara lasts long as you want it to, and I found it washed away in the shower easily. It also wiped away with eye make up remover wipes, but that was more smudgy.A beautifully presented piece of make up kit you would be proud to own, the gold leaf design on the black background is most attractive.

I have always been a big fan of Elizabeth Arden mascaras. I can always rely on them to give me all that I need, including volume, length and separation. This mascara is no exception. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes statement lashes because it's really volumising. It'd be a great night out mascara but I like big lashes during the day too. It lasts all day and doesn't flake off or run on me which is a massive bonus. A great new mascara to try if you are looking for something different.

This is a fantastic mascara. It costs probably four times what we'd normally pay, but the quality absolutely does reflect the extra cost.This applies evenly and thickly without being sticky or clumping together. It lasts well, looks good and is a pleasure to use. It might not be within everybody's budget and you can certainly make do with cheaper mascaras, but if you can afford it this Elizabeth Arden Lasting Impression is well worth the money.

Initially I thought the brush was faulty as I wasn't used to the shape. Not sure if the shape is supposed to help or not, I think I prefer the traditional shaped brush. That being said, the brush worked and the mascara was a good product. Applied as I would any other; the results were as good as and in some cases better than other leading brands I have used. Darkens my eyelashes and they looked a lot more noticeable - the desired effect.
