Why has it taken nearly seven decades of dry, uncomfortable skin before I discovered this perfect product only by chance? Is there a vast conspiracy of women (and men too) with smooth, hydrated, softly scented skin who are determined to prevent their rivals from discovering their secret? There is? Well, your secret’s out! This stuff is amazing! I have had dry skin all my life, and tried almost any product you can name from bargain-basement to eye-wateringly expensive, from high street standard to classy niche brand, from home-made to hi-tec. Yet not one of these came even close to delivering what I need: non-greasy, non-clogged, smooth, hydrated skin that remains that way, staying comforted and softened for many hours. Thats what this does. When I first used it I was astonished to find that my skin was as hydrated the next morning as it had been when I used it the night before I thought it must be a fluke of some sort. But no. This really does deliver not just 12-hour- but genuine 24-hour-hydration. Even on my er, ‘mature’, very dry skin. And without the least hint of oiliness or greasiness! Even on my hyper-dry shins! But it was suddenly noticing how old the skin on my arms hadvstarted to look that sent me scurrying all over the internet to find a magic potion that would turn back time.I’ve always been a dedicated user of skin care products for my face, neck and hands, right from my teens onwards. And without false modesty I think I can claim to have proved that good skin care pays off as you get older. I often get compliments on my skin, and both friends and daughters ask my advice. But despite my best efforts, and some costly investment in posh products, the skin on my fore-arms and shins was beginning to look older than the rest of me. (We’re talking snake-skin here, folks, for those who know what I mean.?) I was getting desperate to find a product to let my limbs play catch-up and match the rest of me, especially with summer fast approaching. (No-one wants to have to hide their flaky, dry-skinned limbs away under heavy disguises in summer, and I’m no exception.)So I browsed Amazon. I read reviews. And that’s how I found this.Somehow — I blame that secret conspiracy — I’d been kept out of the loop on this product and had never heard of it. It sounded good. The reviews were all great. And — impressively — it was Elizabeth Arden, a tried-and-true, trusted brand. Then I noticed the price. And the packaging. Could it really be any good for that money? And in just a simple tub? Above all, was it really even an actual Elizabeth Arden product at all? At that price? In a plastic tub? How could that be?Of course I now realise there must be a secret cabal of highly-influential Elizabeth Arden customers — I’m thinking Oscar-winning actors, presidents’ wives, members of royalty — who have somehow persuaded the company to disguise this product by putting it in simple packaging and keeping the price way down below its real value just to throw ordinary people like me and you off the scent and keep the secret of what this product does for great skin all to themselves. But back then I just decided that at that price and with those reviews and on the off-chance it just might be the real deal, it was worth the small sum involved to,give it a try.Ha! Your conspiracy failed ladies! (Er, sorry, ma’am.)And besides, I was broke and couldn’t afford my usual salon-quality brand that month and with my ultra-dry skin a month without some kind of body lotion was out of the question. So I ordered it, with very little hope and still less expectation. When this unassuming pot arrived I realised I had been so impressed by the reviews and the price I hadn’t even noticed the details like the p bit in the description about it containing honey. So when I first dipped my fingers in I was a little worried by the tiny rounded grains I could feel in the product that contained it. Would I be left with bits of granules all over my skin? Would my skin be sticky with honey? No, and no again. Those tiny granules dissolved instantly in contact with my skin, disappearing into it compleletly. As for any stickiness, quite the reverse. The texture of the cream is particularly light — wonderfully cooling and refreshing in summer — and it completely melted away into my skin in an instant, without any residue, not a trace of oiliness and absolutely zero stickiness. All it left was softly hydrated skin. Oh, and a gentle scent.Ah, that scent. It’s almost worth buying for that alone. If you are worrying that maybe it has a cloying, sickly-sweet honey perfume you can stop worrying now. It doesn’t.If you are concerned it might have a rather powerful tea smell, stop worrying now. It doesn’t.What it does have is a deliciously light, fresh scent that won’t overpower any other scent you may be using. It just leaves a light veil of soft, clean scented skin. A child could use this, as far as scent is concerned. And although it’s a delicate scent, even the most macho guy needn’t feel it would be too feminine in him. It’s just a simple, fresh, clean, light scent that lingers slightly and deliciously on the skin without overpowering or intruding. If you’ve read this far you’ll have gathered that I’m impressed with this stuff. (And, yes, I have added it to my regular Amazon Subscribe & Save order.)I’m impressed for four reasons:1) it is seriously moisturising without so much as a hint of oiliness, sticky ness, or heaviness.2) it does not irritate my highly-reactive, sensitive skin3) its moisturising effect is exceptionally long lasting4) it has a delightful, light, scent. Then over and above that is the price. I am a great believer in the maxim that, when it comes to skin care, you get what you pay for. Over my lifetime as a serious skin care user I’ve discovered it’s worth paying a bit more, if you can, for salon-quality brands rather than those hyped and expensively-promoted high street big name brands which only seem good value because they are full of cheap ‘fillers’ used to pad out the more expensive active ingredients. Which means, in my experience, you need to use at least twice as much to get the effect you are looking for, if you get it at all. (I learned this lesson early, the dry-skinned, money-wasted way.)So I am accustomed to paying at least double this level price for good-quality body and hand lotions. So to get this quality of product, at this price, from what is, after all, one of the oldest, most respected salon brands, is just amazing.Grab it now. Grab it before those conspirators who have been trying to hide its secret from you and me, and prevent us discovering their secret of amazingly soft, long-lasting, moisturised skin, manage to corner the entire market for themselves.Grab it now before Elizabeth Arden realise what an amazing product they are offering at an astonishing price and decide to charge more.Grab it because, in my life experience, I’ve only to discover a really great product for it to disappear off the market. So I’m seriously worried about losing this.Above all, grab it, please, and pass on the good news, to build the market and ensure that Elizabeth Arden continue to make and sell this brilliant product for years to come until I finally pop my clogs with the softest, smoothest, most moisturised skin in the old crones’ home.I don’t want to die with dry skin!

Such a lovely body cream. I’ve worn the Green Tea perfume for years and was delighted to find this. I wasn’t sure if the inclusion of ‘honey’ would make it overbearingly sweet, but it doesn’t, it just gives it the depth that you need for a cream and which the perfume scent couldn’t have alone. It melts into the skin and the little balls of honey dew stuff are amazing they just gently dissolve instantly when they touch your skin- they’re not abrasive or like an exfoliator at all. The cream isn’t heavy, it absorbs quickly. The scent probably wouldn’t last as long as an incredibly expensive perfume-branded cream like Chanel No.5, but that’s exactly what I want, nice and light and not heavy. It’s sort of citrusy but not lemon, more like lime leaf. I love it!

Wonderfully perfumed rich body cream. Not greasy and sticky, it's rich and nourishing without feeling that your covered in an oil slick! The little soft honey pieces are a nice touch. These are very soft and won't scratch the skin at all. They are more like tiny little chunks of balm. This has a lot of plant extracts which are great for the skin and very soothing. Works so well on my eczema prone legs. No reaction at all, takes the itch away and it's so much nicer to use this than the 'medical' horribly smelling creams from chemists. Don't get me wrong, I'm saying this works for me and not suggesting you stop any treatments! Love it!

Delighted with this product - have bought it several times before, for myself and as gifts for others, all of whom have loved it. It's a light, sharp, refreshing fragrance, as is the Green Tea Scent Spray, perfect for everyday use - and at this price one can afford to be liberal with it! Not clear what Justin Bieber has to do with it, Ihave bought it with and without his name being associated and it's considerably cheaper WITH so - carry on Justin I say - the added bonus being that my grandchildren are impressed that their 70 year old grandmother wears an apparently Justin Bieber inspired perfume.

I bought this product for the first time on an air plane traveling from Amsterdam to Milan. I found the cream very smooth and of a good fresh fragrance. When I finished the jar, I was never able to find it again in a store, so I searched Amazon!! I'm glad I found it. This time it was a present for my daughter. Although she said the package arrived in a very dusty conditions (I don't know where it was shipped from) she found the quality of the product excellent as much as I did. So here there are two (and not one) positive reviews of the product! :)SilvanaAugust 2009

I love Elizabeth Arden products and used their eight hour body cream for years when I could buy in large tubs, making it economical. Can’t get that any more though so have switched to this. It’s a lovely cream and works well when my skin is very dry and prickly, although the scent is too strong for my liking. I also use visible difference body lotion which doesn’t have a strong perfume, but use this heavier body cream when needed. I’ll buy it again because it’s so effective but would much prefer unscented or lighter perfume.

I bought this for my daughter who says it's absolutely gorgeous. I gave her a tub a while back and she loved it so requested another for Xmas! It smells great and keeps her skin well moisturised. The small honey drop grains dissolve and absorb well into the skin on application.I was pleased to find it at this great price and received it the very next day after ordering thanks to Amazon Prime and in perfect condition. I'll be buying more in the future and would be happy to recommend it.

I have dry skin, so I bought this as I love Elizabeth Arden green tea scent. A little goes a long way with this cream! It’s thick, luxurious and not greasy! It softens my skin, doesn’t irritate my keratosis pilaris and smells divine! The little honey beads are an interesting touch! They sort of massage your skin before disappearing. The scent is quite strong, but I love it so it didn’t bother me.It’s a lovely, relaxing addition to my me time.

Good quality cream, smell more citrus notes than honey. The scent lasts all day, I wore it from 7:30am to 6pm and I could still smell the fragrence. A little really does go a long way with this product. The “honey” beads seem a little hard but when smoothed out onto the skin you can’t even feel it melt away. Really recommend, especially at £11 price it is at now!

I found this product really fantastic. I had a eczema flare up on my elbow, I applied this cream and it calmed it right down. My skin is a lot softer. I use it on my face also which I felt was a bit dry and is now nice & soft. I have recommended this to family members and this have also bought it too.

A good cream and comes in a very large tub so should last you a while. The scent is strong but I like it and as always with these things, we all smell things differently so what is strong to someone is faint to someone else.Anyway for a good all round basic body cream i highly recommend it.

Love this cream you get a massive amount for the money and only need to use a small bit. I use it as a face and body cream. It has a strong lemon type smell. I like that as it's fresh, it may be a little strong for some. I have very sensitive skin and it hasn't affected that at all.

A fabulous treat for your skin with an vibrantly clean and fresh fragrance this is a definate must have for me ,my friends tried it and ordered it for themselves the same day they tried mine try it you won't be disappointed it leaves your skin silky smooth and smelling lush Mmm

12.2.2020

The fragrance is lovely, just lovely. However, although it absorbs okay into skin, you can feel what seems like tiny grains of sand in the cream. Once it is rubbed in it also feels slightly sticky. Sadly, the lovely aroma doesn’t last long nor does the skin softening.

This is my favourite body cream. It smells lovely and sinks into my skin so easily. There are tiny little granules in it that just disappear when rubbed in.The fragrance is pleasant too.A large tub of a fantastic body cream - at a great price. No complaint at all!
