I recently purchased a 790 Aero Light Look. With the aero dynamics of the bike I wanted an aero water bottle as well. So, I read all the reviews I could find before buying the Elite. Several concerns came up with negative reviews that said the bottle was difficult to drink from, the bottle wasn't as secure in its cage as other systems and that it's fluid capacity was less than needed for a ride. At the same time, I had priced and read reviews for other aero water bottle systems on the market. Similar aero systems were at least twice as much as the Elite. For $35, I figured I had what I was looking for at a reasonable price no matter what the negative review said...I'd make it work for me.After 500 miles of riding I would say it was well worth the $35. It's definitely aero and looks great on the 790. Lots of compliments. The cage/bottle fit is VERY secure. Bottle has an assuring snap to it when bottle is reinserted. Takes TIME to reeducate...heel first then top of bottle into the cage. Tighter squeeze to dispense water into mouth and smaller volume of water is the biggest difference for me. Bought second bottle for longer rides.

This is the best water bottle I have bought for my bike(s). My only issue is I wish I could fit two on my tri bike but the frame is just a bit two small. Nice solid feel when you put the bottle back in the cage. There is no doubt its IN. The water does come out fast like other reviewers have said but its not hard to get used to and once you know how the water flows you can prepare for it. I would buy again!

Holds enough water for a 1-2 hour ride. The cap is a twist lock, not a screw type, so if you don't line it up correctly, it will spill out the sides. It takes effort to get the fluid out, but if you squeeze extra hard, you can fully open the nozzle to let a bigger stream of fluid flow out. Definitely practice with water before putting any sugary drink in it!

Looks (and is I presume is) aero. The nozzle appears to be leak proof and I like how it dispenses fluid. Bottle locates with a positive 'clunk' into cage but is a fraction loose until the bottle refills with air after a glug of fluid. Even when it regains its full shape /normal proportions, it's still a bit rattly over rough ground.

If it's good enough for pros, it's good enough for me. So far no issues with the bottle popping out over bumps and seems fairly secure needing a good pull to release from the moulded cage. Golf ball dimples complete the fast look. The valve isn't proportional and needs a good squeeze to get the flow started but then flows quickly.

Must squeeze bottle slightly to unclip from holder, so can only fill to 85%.Otherwise, very secure, looks great, easy to clip and unclip. Dont really care if its aero, just looks cool and is functional. Has the same membrane opening as gatorade sports bottle where no water goes out unless the bottle is squeezed.

Fits nicely in it cage and easy to remove and refit whilst riding. Looks nice on my aero frame. Water flow is good and would recommend this bottle. Only issue and it’s only small is the size of the outlet to put your tablets in, have to break them up but like I said a very tiny problem

I wanted a bottle for my new TT bike, for use when training but didn't want to spoil the sleek lines of the bike. This was just the job and is a very nice looking piece of kit with Aero dimples etc. The carbon caged version of this is about three times the price...so why would you!

18.8.2019

I like it, and was surprised that, despite it's small appearance, it held the same amount of water as my normal small bottle. It can come out when riding over train tracks or potholes.

its fully aero, which is why i bought it, but it leaks a bit, no matter the conditions, cant be filled 100% or it leaks even more, doesn't fall from the cage even in bumpy rides

Put x2 of these on my Felt AR, these babies look sexy and sleek on my ride and function as expected. Never had an issue with them popping off, they sit pretty snug in there.

It is a bit smaller than What I expected. The fastening system is a bit more secure. I can see why other reviews complain but I think it work just fine for me.

This carbon version is an upgrade to my fiberglass version which was too flexible, causing the bottle to be dislodged and fall off too often.

Nice fit and easy to get out of the cage and back again, could be better at the filler end ..top pops off to easy..not a very good seal

Light and designate, I turned one into a tool kit with a mini pump that fits in and a tube and all the necessary repair.
