Nice and light does a good job and although I have only used it so far on the highest setting it removes a ton of moss and other stuff but leaves the grass in good order. The collection box is pointless so you are better off using the scarifier without the box for 5-10 min's and then rake or mow up the moss and thatch. The instructions for assembly are a bit sketchy, but use your common sense, look at the pictures on the box and you will be up and running in 15 min's. The unit is largely made from plastics but appears pretty well made and so time will tell how long it will last. I would say that this unit was suitable for domestic use only, not professionally IMO, that said I have a pretty large garden and it coped well.

Very pleased with this scarifier considering the cost. Easy to assemble, put in some oil and petrol, primed as per instructions and stsarted first pull. May be a cheap Chinese engine, but no complaints, powerful enough for the machine. Very light to push and certainly removes a lot of moss. I have gone over lawn on highest setting and it has done a great job, No point using the collection bag as it would fill up every 2 yards, Just be prepared to rake up after.Perhaps a bit flimsy if you were doing a very large area, but for a medium sized garden it is perfect. Far better than the electric machines I have tried in the past.

I’ve used many scarifies from little electric ones to the big ones you hire. This is good, the built quality is ok plastic a bit chinsey. but for a tool it in all likelihood gets used for less than 5 hours a year it is pretty schookum and would last forever.Need to go ginger careful on the first pass as the blades dig in and mower lunches forward and stalls but if you creep forward and hold back it’s fine. Pulls up like the monster hire ones but use this five times and you’re quids in! Cannot rate high enough!

It's a good quality machine even for a meticulous DIYer. I love taking care of my lawn and this machine helps me a lot. But. You need to learn how to use it because it might not have the power that other more professional machinew could have, depending on the quality of your soil and lawn. After a few minutes you'll see how to tame this machine. Remember that the machine will only help you in the process, but this is only the beginning of your caring and your sweat.

Machine set up was easy enough - the instructions do state that there is no oil in the machine so worth checking and topping up before you start. Prime the fuel and pull the cord and away you go! The highest setting was plenty for my lawn - going lower may make a mess so I'd advise trying first! For the cost, it's a pretty decent machine and certainly good for the home user on large gardens and pro users alike.

An excellent machine. Half an acre of lawn was scarified with very little effort. The small grass bag is not much use. It is far easier to use it without the bag and then run over with lawn mower

Powerful machine, good scarifier, 3/4 tank petrol can run 350SQM lawn no need refill petrol , but not very useful for aerator

Used to scarify after using an electric scarifier and got two more bags of moss on my wee front lawn. Really good machine.

My husband is a gardener and was well pleased with this scarifier. Good delivery time.

Collection bag needs to be at least twice the size even for the lightest clarifying!!.
