I had an old filter which needed replacing but it was proving difficult to find an exact swap, so went for the Eheim inlet which proved to be straight-forward to fit onto the existing 22mm pipe and it works well. Definately worth having

Awesome product. only drawback is it is a bit pricy but with that you have easy priming of filter and modularity which mean you can adapt to different sized tank and make your spraybars/intakes longer/shorter as needed

This Eheim installation kit is a great bit of kit it gives my tank a hole new look and helps with hose cleaning and will work with any external filter
