This is my second Edelrid Ultralight helmet, as my first one has reached its retirement date. As modern climbing helmets go, it doesnot rate as "ultralight" at 15 oz, but it ventilates extremely well. There is enough space between the shell and the head straps to stasha hat or fleece headband in cooler weather, and it fits me well without feeling heavy. The headband adjustment is simply a nylon strap, easy and low-profile, as are the headlamp clips. This helmet design is not tweaked every year because it does not need to be.

I tried a lot of helmets. Most fit horribly, and look even worse sitting on my head. This one is very different. With only minor adjusting, it fits like it was made just for me. It is super light, at less than a pound. Every color you may want is available to choose from. The coverage is thorough, the vents keep the air moving, and it it easy to use. It is priced right compared to the other choices, but it is the only one of this style still being made. Whatever you may be planning, this one's gonna fit the bill!

I bought several of these for caving when Petzl discontinued their Ecrin Roc helmets. The helmet is light, comfortable and well ventilated. Integral light-strap hooks work well and are less likely to break than those on the Ecrin Roc. Strap and headband adjustment is relatively simple and easy.

Solid. Reliable. Safe. Just a few words to describe the helmet. But take note, this helmet is designed to take a hit from the top, not the sides. So if something drops on your head from above, you're good. If you're taking bumps and bruises from other directions, check out some other helmets.

Weighs - 15.15 oz. Pretty comfortable helmet for how simple it is. Basic fitment straps on the inside with minimal padding. Ventilated well. Meant more for summit pushes or medium amounts of time worn, probably wouldn't be comfy to wear all day.

Time amazon stopped this nippingYou search for price, without postage, when they check you out they put it back in ??? Why would you do that ! Surely if one wants to opt in to pay postage that should be the way to do it

this climbing helmet is comfortable and lightweight and very reasonably priced wich is comforting to know as a lot of the time will be carrying it and is quite compact when attached to rucksack

Punctual delivery. Helmet of good manufacture. Simple finish and without burr. Beautiful aesthetic cut! It is not the lightest, but personally I can put 100 grams more security on my head! :)

This helmet is cheaper than the Petzl alternative and pretty good in terms of construction and build. Been used by my daughter and her friend on a couple of trips and no problems.

I have enjoyed this one to my arsenal...It is lightweight and fits comfortable once you break in the head strap.
